amazing if itachi was in his prime and not sick

i disagree here. fox chakra makes it worse for naruto. to me its a burden for him. not only he has to suppress it using his own chakra, using it will make his life shorter. he is strong enough on his own. here is why -
1) sakura was just touched by kyubi's tail. and she cudnt recover for a long time even after healing

and naruto is able to endure it which only say naruto's original chakra is much stronger than most.

now, after that he decided not to use kyubi's chakra and he is getting stronger without it.
2) as far as i recall its only his healing ability that is improved for the fox, not his stamina, physical energy etc. those are the things ppl are born with.
3) naruto is strong enough on his own. then why is the kyubi chakra sealed by his dad? bcos he wanted naruto to complete a ?jutsu? which cant be done without kuybis chakra, and that jutsu is required for a certain 'grave' reason.

personally, i believe that Naruto is eventually going to be VERY tough, you dont take as many hits as that kid does and NOT end up being able to eventually brush off a strong attack like its nothing
i mean, Naruto gets the living SHIT beat outta him most of the time lol, by some pretty high level ninjutsu and taijutsu.
is it unreasonable to assume that he is eventually gonna be like punching steel?

He is gonna be awesome..but next time he won't even be beaten wif jutsus or wadever...He'd be too gd for tt.its his opponents who end up screwed...
well here's te thing, Of course tachi was stronger than Madara he evens says that's y Akatsuki never made a move on Konoha, and he says it again he says Now with Itachi outta the way there's no one stopping us from destroying konoha or something like that As for strentghs I think Itachi Was like the same as J-man I mean the first time they fought I don't think Itachi had sussano'o
This may have already been mentioned but I am confused as to why Itachi didn't kill Madara. Madara already helped him wipe out the Uchiha and summoned the 9 tails to destroy Konoha, so he knew he was a threat. Was it that he couldn't defeat him, or there were some repercussions if he did?
Clearly he didn't want Madara to get Sasuke since he gave him the MS, and Ameratsu activating at the sign of Madara's sharingan.
Also, I think that he said if he fought Jiraiya they would both die. That was before the time skip, and before I started reading the manga, so I got that from the anime.
The 9 tails cloak is the best absolute defense in the Narutoverse. It blocks jutsu like fire jutsu, and at 4 tails it stopped the sword of kusanagi that Orochimaru uses. He doesn't just use that sword for fun since he tried to kill Itachi with it during the Sasuke-Itachi fight. Like every powerful jutsu, there is a price to pay, and if Naruto loses control (4 tails), he shortens his life and endangers those around him.

I think Itachi is strong but it' hard to put a place for him. The one time we see him in a meaningful fight and he's sick. Yet he wanted no part of Jiraiya (and he would have had Kisame to help him). And yeah, he took Orochimaru's hand, but Orochimaru wasn't trying to fight him, just take his body. The partial fight that they DID have was over because of the weapon Itachi was using, which happened to be the perfect counter to the Kasugani sword. If nothin else, I think he beneath Jiraiya but that doesn't say much because Jiraiya's a Sannin.
I agree to most of this , but it makes his life shorter when it takes over naruto and damages his body badly
when naruto has control over the kyuubi it would'nt happen
remember kishi also took real life as source for chakra and stuff like that
the kyuubi is sealed inside of naruto
because minato believes naruto's the only one who could handle the kyuubi.
also as extra chakra source, and too protect him.
this is a great oppotunity for sage arts since that costs lots of chakra.

But that doesnt make sense. I mean if itachi was stronger than madara he wouldve killed him. He wouldve noticed that he was getting sick and use that time to kill madara but he didnt which means madara stil surpasses him.

i agree with madara uchiha on this part of the thread lol. madara could *probably* kill itachi whenever he wants. but he needs him for akatsuki. madara was the one and only uchiha who showed extreme amounts of chakra like no other uchiha. thats why he's the most legendary uchiha. itachi could give him a rough time in my opinion though.
i think you're right. i think itachi's intention the whole time was to set sasuke up as the savior of the uchiha clan. itachi let himself be the catalyst and target for his little brother. and so far it's worked out pretty good. sasuke is a genius and will probably surpass itachi.
there are a couple reasons i can think of that itachi might not have gone after madara.
1. madara has the akatsuki on his side
2. if itachi leaves madara for sasuke to take out then sasuke not only gets revenge for the death of his clan by killing itachi but he also might play a vital roll in fighting madara and maybe, just maybe win back his place in kohona.
