I honestly disagree with Senpais teaching Gen and Tai jutsu and with ninjutsu, i believe we should only teach the lower ranked ones, maximum of C-Rank. Not the higher ones. And only in special occasions with the permission of our sensei.

To be a senpai you don't pass a test and most of us are not on the level of most of the sensei neither in skill, knowledge or experience. Thats why we can't teach it all. If so, why have the two categories of teachers?

If and when senpais want to teach ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu, submit your application for senseiship and take the sensei test. Simple.

I see no harm or no big mistake in the current system.

Well, look at Lok, he is a tai specialist and can teach it as he has shown great skill with tai. Which makes sense.

If another sempai stood out as being great with nin gen or tai, i would understand that they could teach it, like we have sempai for elements such as ice, crystal and sand. But without first proving your knowledge of it's useage and standing out as a good user, it's just not going to happen.

 I'm an example.

So I shouldn't be able to teach tai when I'm better at it than most current senseis? :|

So if you are, why don't you take the sensei test to become a sensei? :|

If you read from the start, you would have found out the answer to that. :|

Sorry, i'll back track...

Edit: ok, LOK doesn't want to become a sensei is what i've gathered and as i said, there is the possibility of special exceptions. I just don't think all the senpais should be able to teach all the things a sensei teaches...it kills the purpose of being a sensei... :/

Because I don't want to be a sensei? :|

EDIT: I'm the sempai who can teach other things than the standard stuff. I can teach Kaguya techs though I don't.

I think training would go a lot faster if sempais could do nin and tai but at that point they might as well be senseis
I've only had 1 sensei teach me an element the others were sempais and I got senseis to teach me nin and tai but noone wants to do gen.

One of the deadliest and most powerful branches of the ninja skills. Because it can make you feel that something that isn't real is real. However, the only way to disperse it is to actually know you are under an illusion, and that makes you think and find the point in the illusion that gives it away. Thats the beauty of gen: it makes you think. I like it a lot.

xd im like the lonely bird who swoops in on a nest of Crows :overjoy:, ok back on-topic, Yard is my Senpai and i respect him to the fullest and to be honest i would love to learn as much as i could from him and maybe one day surpass him ( not anytime soon xd ) it would be nice to see yard teach gen/tai this way i dont have to look for a sensei and fail everytime mainly bcs theres a short list of them and they are either too ignorant to teach others or always have an excuse ( not pointing any fingers ), but i was curious what are the requierments to becoming a sensei? just wondering i am not planning on attempting to try it out either.

i love using gen... hate explaining it to people.. >_<

That's really what I meant lol.

But it's too easy to get around. Most require eye contact. Being a taijutsu master, I can get around that by watching your feet like Guy and automatically get around it.

Now tai, that's the shit. You get in close range, they won't have enough time to get any handseals out so he'd be forced to fight back. Or use that cheap Nagashi trick.

Agreed 100%, Nagashi is a cheap trick and should never count as a win. Taijutsu masters are amazing.

I like making custom genjutsu but the Canon ones aren't all that useful and the sensei thought it'd be a waste of time to even teach

Another added bonus of gen I personally like is that for B rank and above unless they are high tomoe (3 and up) it forces them to cause a lot of pain to stop it so enough genjutsu used in a match can make someone bleed to death from self injury, I've won a match because they didn't hurt themselves enough to break s rank gen and besides biting ur tongue off an injury that breaks s rank gen will impair u normally

My favorite cj gen is a finger one and I just made one for summoned animals and that's born counting sound or smell genjutsu.

Honestly, I don't know much about the Senpai system - its origins and its current details are both mysteries to me :p Pervy, though, seems to have referenced some history, and his opinion is likely more accurate than mine.

Nevertheless, I could see a defense being made for the current rules of Senpai-ship. If Senpais can teach all 5 elements, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu (or even just anything other than Genjutsu), then what's the difference between being a Senpai and being a Sensei? Just the orange name?
