Well, basically its in an essence similar to Wood Release and the CE Plant Release but instead of plantae it produces and manipulates Fungi.

The user is able to produce, manipulate and use fungus for many purposes, taking use of their inherent properties, such as the ability to increase in size with water or the ability to eat through organic matter. Some fungus are also parasites and as such, the CE takes advantage of that.

Fungus can be made in 3 ways:

Generic mushrooms

Specific species

Spores and other related mushroom products/variations.


Its weak to Fire and Wind

Strong to Earth and Water

I think. I only read it like 3 or 4 times and not recently.

Main Release: Greenish/Greyish Fungus, with Parasitic Abilitis, Biological and Chakra alike, and strong against Earth and Water, as it is released in the form of a net of fungus that does not break easily, and can absorb water to become stronger.

Alternative Release (so far): Mushroom Caps, Spores. The Mushrooms can shoot either a default poison, which you will describe to me and default Spores. The default spores grow almost instantaneously into Main Release fungus.

Especific Release: Specific species. The epitome of which is Warts of Mokole-mbembe.

Weaknesses is a bit wrong...

Yeah, sorry lili. I went to check the Ce (you know i like to try and say things by heart first lol):

Is weak to:
Fire: The high temperatures and the fire kill and burn the fungus and the structures it creates, as it is able to burn spores and mushrooms.

Lightning: The lightning’s cutting abilities are able to cut through the thickness of the fungus net structures from even higher ranks, as well as through mushrooms. It is not much affective against spores.

Wind: The lightning’s cutting abilities are able to cut through the thickness of the fungus net structures from lower ranks, as well as blow spores away. It is able to cut through mushrooms.


Is strong against:
Earth: The fungus is able to dissolve earth and gain roots through it, as it s the base habitat proliferation, procedure enhanced by chakra. And the fungus can create strong nets to stop incoming rock/earth structures.

Water: The fungus feeds and it’s enhanced by water, and a liquid medium makes it’s proliferation easier and faster.

As for the poison?
Well, with specific release you can manipulate fungus that are pathological and toxic to humans. Many fungus produce severely poisonous toxins and other enzymes that can poison an enemy if used correctly.

Taking advantage of the specific sub release of Mushrooms its possible to manipulate and create such toxins and substances.

How do Default Poisonous Mushroom work?
Oh...sorry, i misunderstood ^^

The poison of the standard Alternative Release causes gastrointestinal irritation and uncontrollable vomiting, followed by multiple organ failure in 1 turn, and death in the second turn of exposure.

This is a fairly simply jutsu. Basically you will spread chakra through the ground and cause up to 5 large mushroom caps to grow. These caps are highly bounce-able, and thus have great utility in sending opponents high in the air or simply break high falls. Likewise, it can serve to propel or change the direction of other jutsus, they have all the inherited strength and weaknesses of the Mushroom, thus they are highly strong against blunt physical impacts (Earth and solid CE) and Water, while suffering with sharper attacks, Fire or venomous/biologically hazardous elements.

The following jutsu is basically the most versatile and effective manner of using the Main Release fungus. It is an open, highly description based jutsu that allows you to create structures made of woven nets of fungus. They are highly strong against blunt impacts and water (growing stronger and larger by absorbing it), and fairly resistant to sharp attacks, such as low ranked Wind jutsus (at least 1 bellow). The structures created can range from balls you can throw to hands you can use to grab objects, ropes, shields, walls, statues, etc etc. You can grow the fungus like a coat, you can grow the fungus away from you, you can detach them from your body/ground and throw them, etc etc. They retain all the properties of the Main Release fungus, such as the highly parasitic (standard and chakra alike) and producing fast decay on biological structures (such as the flesh of your opponents).

(Masshuru-Muton: Mori no Jusshi ) Mushroom Style: Fingers of Pan

Description: The user is able to release a large net of fungus, from her hands or from the ground which can withstand the impact of huge boulders of rock and cease their movement. The user can decide to preform this jutsu to trap the opponent. The net will form any structure the user wants, being it a hand, a shield, pillars, etc.
*Can only be used once every 2 turns*

Little fun fact, it ranges from B to A in order to allow for the Children of Beelzebub to manipulate the Main Release Fungi. More on that further up.

Np! I will ^^

I assume you can use this to absorb an incoming water jutsu for example right? This would mean that we can use this to drain a water source on the field for example, right? I see good uses for this when combined with Taijutsu to drain chakra. It also seems quite useful since it can be used as Wood Release is, to trap and ensnare opponents. This + Wood Style: Greater Wood Technique = forest of death and decay. Hate the restriction and the range though. Lol
