Yep he's similar to Danzo in that they both would do anything to achieve their twisted goals. Danzo wants to protect the village and Sasuke wants to revenge for his brother. They both went about it in almost the same way. Danzo had to stop the Uchiha by telling Itachi to massacre them and Sasuke wants to take revenge by destroying Konoha and killing everyone there.I won't even bother with this. The dude even said Danzo's ways are similar to Sasuke's.
The bold was not a contradiction, unless you think that caring for something that someone has tortured and destroyed accounts for being selfish If you haven't noticed, they are ninjas. Ninjas fight and kill when necessary. You think that ninjas' are just supposed to sit down, drink some tea, and talk over a fire about how to solve their problems? No wonder you agree with Nardo's ideals, as his way of peace is so half-assed that it's not even attainable. I don't think that you should be crying over something as simple and small as Sasuke attacking Ay or Bee when at the end of the day, Bee escaped anyway. They live, fight and die. Get used to it.
Also, Itachi thinks proudly of himself as a Konoha shinobi, regardless of what he had to do and didn't want Sasuke to take revenge. So, what other reason than selfishness did he have for trying to attack Konoha in general (he didn't descriminate between the leaders and the people living there btw)? Selfishness.
Of course I agree with Naruto's ideals (Most anyway). Nothing gets resolved with violence; You need to look deeper and understand why people do the things they do. Had Killer Bee died, do you truly believe that there would be peace between the Cloud and Konoha if Sasuke became a leader?
The fact that Killer Bee lived is not even the issue here. What did Bee or the cloud do to Sasuke that justified his attack on them? What reason did he have for it? Absolutely selfish, nothing more, nothing less. I definitely wouldn't want a leader like that.
