Exactly this... People try to compare reflexes/reaction with speed... U_USpeed comparasions generally leads to no where; and end up comparasions such as: "x reacted to y; but y failed to react z so z is about at same level in x; oh wait z dodged t who pawned x; so he gotta be faster yada yada..."
There is not such thing as "real speed"; a swimmer is faster than an athlete in water; but on land athlete would be able to move faster than swimer; so who is really faster and what is that "reality"; land or water? Or athlete is faster on foot but he would be overwhelmed by attacks of the boxer despite higher foot speed on land etc...
And there are severe misconceptions between reflexes/dodging/blocking/striking/movement/speed/keeping up etc when it comes to speed and i don't even wanna get into that.
