Sasuke can only surpass Madara if he gets the rinnegan. Though real Madara never showed a feat with the rinnegan. All the feats we've seen him do lately is because he is an edo tensei with unlimited chakra.
The real Madara cannot beat the 5kages, he didnt have the rinnegan till he was old.
