. Although gated Lee and SRA Neji were low jounin level in part one so I don't think Sasuke reached "jounin level" before them. Although while he was training with Orochimaru, he'd have reached jounin level prowess shortly after the end of part one. I think VotE Sasuke was low jounin level already.

Unless Sasuke was recommended by Jonin to be a Jonin, even before he was voted to be a Chuunin, Sasuke was still a genin.

He didn't defeat Deidara, Deidara killed himself. Sasuke was fucked up afterwards.
If he didn't absorb Orochimaru, Sasuke would've died.... and Sasuke had the Elemental Advantage.

Probably true. Sasuke was already jounin level at the end of part 1. Low-Jounin level though and only when using V2 curse-mark. Naruto, Neji and Shikamaru we're probably the next to reach it.

Neji is probably the first to reach Jonin level. During the chuunin exams the only people with the skill to beat him were Gaara, and possibly Lee with his gates (Neji that wasn't cocky as shit anyways.....uppercuts -.-)

Not to mention during part II he's actually a Jonin.


Naruto and Sasuke both followed Lee with gates and Neji...which is what happened with the time skip.
