He immediately throw the black ball at Gai; Pride or Sore Loser.
When facing The 5 Kages, instead he brought out 25 'Madara'; 1 Kage vs 5 'Madara'. Do not want to lose...
He used Bodyguards to protect himself; Obito and Black&White zetsu,.....
Sasuke - his uses his sword most of the time.
He dare to face any number of opponents. Kages Summit
He did not kill anyhow, but only the ones that he want to kill.

Imo Sasuke is more skilled than Madara and just about anyone else in kenjutsu. You can bring scans of Madara putting a sword in Sasuke all you want, that is the past. Present tense is about dat Sasuke slicing Madara in half.
