You do realize that Itachi too was holding back, right? If he had've went into that fight with killing intent, Sasuke would be dead; "How so?" you ask? Because Kabuto would have been dead a long time ago and wouldn't have been able to save Sasuke from the thrashing he received from Madara.

Hebi showed greater speed and both skills back then.
Ms sasuke had and was the only MS user qho had a huge drawback and it didnt less long for his eyes to go blind.
