sasuke stronger than itachi?

Ok, if this is Itachi in his prime vs. pre EMS Sasuke lol of course Itachi would win!

smh and laugh at the Itachi fan club who's like "Itachi would win against diaper-era Sasuke.."

it has to be Itachi in his prime vs. Sasuke in his prime, and let's be honest, we haven't seen how powerful Sasuke's going to be in his prime - and it's gonna be sick. If it was Itachi in his prime RIGHT NOW, I'd say it's a push - they're pretty evenly matched. But Sasuke will eventually overcome his brother and then Naruto will be the only thing that can stop him

People are saying Sasuke is a dumbass - I don't really like Sasuke either, but cmon folks he's a ninja genius! He figured out Danzo's attack without Karin's help and put Danzo through a genjutsu to make him think he still had Izunagi? I admit it's ridiculous that he wants to destroy Konoha (dude, Danzo was the only one who ordered the attack and he's already dead) but don't front on a ninja genius - if Sasuke sucks, it just diminishes Naruto's achievement when he inevitably takes him down

My point is this.....if it wasn't for Itachi....THERE WOULD BE NO SASUKE IN HIS PRIME! Itachi's progression was cut short by sickness and a deteriorating MS. Itachi is the better shinobi all around.

I think that in a equal real fight Itachi would win. But we have to consider that sasuke hasn't got the experiences that Itachi has. I mean sasuke first used susanoo during the kage's meeting (with no training), his ability with amaterasu is higher than Itachi's (Darui's partner C stated) but his Tsukuyomi is weaker than Itachi's.

The point of this anime is for sasuke to be the second or tied for strongest character to ever live...so he will or has already surpassed itatchi. Thats the point of Naruto.

This is like asking will naruto surpass minato or jiraiya...they are suppose to.
Naruto will end up th strongest ninjas in this anime...and in my opinion they have already(meaning both Surpassed Itatchi)

I like Itachi but Sasuke already surpassed Itachi in a way.......

Sasuke natural MS ability is to control Amaterasu.......He can produce inferno style from this. So like Darui and shee said Sasuke's prowess with amaterasu has surpassed itachi's

but how did sasuke got amaterasu?? he got it through itachi~so Sasuke should give credits to itachi for this perfect combination of abilities gotten.

He got through itachi: amaterasu and Tsukiyomi.... Now we will talk about Tsukiyomi. We all know that if Itachi used A FULL POWERED TSUKI he would have owned Sasuke in no time, so we can infer that in a normal genjutsu fight Sasuke will survive Itachi but if Itachi uses Tsuki(which is not the finger pointing technique) and manages to catch Sasuke.... I think it will be everything for Sasuke.....

In a amaterasu fight: Sasuke will TOTALLY PWN ITACHI

At the end I think if it gets to an Susanoo fight.... Yata mirror will stop sasuke's susanoo arrows and since sasuke susanoo does not have yata mirror.... Then itachi will be able to use totsuka on sasuke and Itachi Susanoo will TOTALLY PWN SASUKE'S SUSANOO

Sasuke wouldnt of had his MS if it wasnt for itachi, and even danzo said that he wasnt as good with genjutsu as Itachi, it all depends on how they were fighting. If it was Genjutsu battles and Itachi wanted to kill Sasuke he most likely could of, however if they were fighting with Ninjutsu Sasuke would have more of an advantage as it has been stated he has more control with Amaterasu.

You are getting into a moral dispute. Itachi was stronger in his prime than sasuke was when he fought itachi. Now, however, the whole point is that Naruto surpasses jiraiya and Sasuke surpasses Itachi. Sasuke can cover his susano with amaterasu. That is serious control. Sasuke now is still not done growing. He is bad compared to itachi at genjutsu but he can counter itachi's genjutsu. Itachi helped Sasuke surpass him. he said " we are unique brothers. even if i stand in your way, I will always be there for you". Itachi gave sasuke the power to surpass him by gifting him the mangekyo.

in my opininon sasuke is stronger. Clearly sasuke is more powerful in ninjustu. Itachi had ten years with the Ameaterasu and he couldnt control like how sasuke control it. Clearly itachi owned sasuke on genjustu but it dosent affect sasuke because sasuke could get out of it and although sasuke wasnt a master he was brillant when using it. With the susanoo i think that was the first time itachi use it because no one never seen it before and itachi went blind using it the first time plus he had alot of time to master it while sasuke only have the mangekyo for couple of weeks and he already reach the final form of susanoo and he dosent go blind right away. Too me sasuke is clearly more powerful than itachi. When they fought it was sharingan vs mangekyo and imagine now if they fought if both have the mangekyo.

Even if Itachi wanted to kill Sasuke when they fought at the base, even tho he was ill and like half blind, he could of done it....he brings out susanoo at the very start and he's pounding Sasuke like nothing. Even now, Itachi would still outdue Sasuke cause of his Genjutsu powers, where Sasuke haven't trained that well. Itachi could manipulate time in Tsukuyomi, where Sasuke has no skill at all. Itachi, hands down. Sharingan vs. Sharingan Itachi would still whoop his ass.
