Sasuke Or Naruto : whose Pain is Greater ????

Are you guys stupid? Sasuke suffered more. He lost everyone he saw on a day to day basis including his parents that he saw die, a guess who did it? His loving big brother, the pain of having bonds & losing them far exceeds the pain of not having any from the beginning.

Naruto never had the bonds Sasuke had, he didn't have somebody to care and love and watch over him from the jump so losing everything mentally destroyed him. I may be a little bias when it comes to vs threads but I'm absolutely unbiased right now, Naruto situation really sucked hard, but Sasuke's was worse.


Imagine you were both, which would pain you worse?: All your family & friends were murdered by the person you arguably loved most, you kill that person only to find out they were face with similar circumstances as Itachi.

Vs

Your parents dying before you ever meet them & being hated in your environment, however managing to forge a couple bonds. Eventually you meet you mother, albeit briefly, and also your father.

Then Itachi dies and all of a sudden, he learns that the Konoha elders and Danzo forced Itachi to slaughter his whole family.

That pain caused Sasuke to be blinded with hatred as he pushed everyone away from him. And it's funny how people say he cries a lot, but would same way if they went through the same sh*t. Sasuke in my eyes is like Dexter, who became Antisocial after his mother was cut up in front of him as a little kid. That trauma can mess you up.

If you say so. However, if pain is immeasurable how can we make statements like "their pain is equal/greater than one another"?

Upon reflection, I guess I meant I can appreciate the pain from losing Itachi better than that from being stuck with an evil monster.

People make those claims the same way people react to things differently. I didn't cry during a moment where everyone else around me was crying but I felt just as much pain.


People would cry during movies in the same scene where people would laugh. It's kind of opinionated as I know most if not all of us aren't looking at this objectively and thinking about how they or a normal person would have felt being in that situation.

They both experienced great pain but they endured it differently.

Naruto's is far worse. Complete isolation, especially as a child, is beyond torture. There's been individuals go on killing sprees because they simply have nobody and need attention. Studies conducted have shown how it warps the psyche.

Sasuke, however, had every love imaginable and shunned it. His life was sad, but nothing compared to that of a jinchuriki like Naruto or Gaara. He's a *****.

Can you show me Uchiha's mental records? I wanna know if the research in Narutoverse came up with that conclusion. Or was it you confusing yourself as an Uchiha.

A very negative view of life,thinking life is not worth living cause war happen and innocent people die=Obito and Madara.
Poor judgment=Sasuke easily getting pissed off over small things also trying to rape Konoha ,you can turn insane=Madara laughning while feeling pain.

Id say Naruto seeing that most of Sasukes pain was result of his own actions. His life might be more tragic, but his pain is nowhere close to Narutos in general.

Sort of, but Sasuke's situation was a little worse. If it wasn't for Itachi, Sasuke wouldn't have left. But forgiveness is hard, man. It shocks me that Naruto forgave the village for treating him like dirt because he was a Jin.

Worst part is he was already attached to his family and

To add to that he was forced to watch it happen at least twice
by Itachi. Then spends years hating the wrong person because he

Going from the very beginning of the Manga, Id say Naruto. yes Sasuke lost his family but on top of Naruto not having a family or a clan, everyone also really hated him to the core and wanted him dead. Sasuke was called a prodigy and everyone thought he was cool and handsome and had the 3rd hokage watching over him. Everyone thought Naruto was a dumb useless idiot and he was shunned and openly made fun of with people talking about his death.

Id rather be a handsome rich, well liked and skillful orphan who still has fond memories of his past compared to an ugly, poor rejected and hated orphan who is unskilled and majority of the world wants me dead.

Looking at how their lives turned out however, id rather be Naruto than Sasuke though.

Naruto before Sasuke lost his family, but then Sasuke.

Naruto did lose some of his bonds as the Manga passed (I-E - Jiraiya), but he didn't suffer like Sasuke. They both suffered differently, but they understood each other.

Naruto obviously. He didn't even know his parents. And he suffered in his life just because of presence of kyuubi in him which was sealed in him which cost his parents life in the way of saving people. But he faced hard time from the villagers due to that.

After sometime he met with someone who admires him, jiraiya. But then he suffered from the pain of jiraiya's death. He even shouldered his friend,sasuke, pain too.

At least konoha people didn't hate sasuke in academy. While naruto always tortured by his teammates and konoha people. He lived a lonely life.

but it also pains when one sees his dear parents and neighbors die in front of him..no?

My father died when i was 8, i didn't even give a **** cuz i was too young to understand... and even now... it's no pain because i never developed much feelings in my first 8 years, i was a kid lol...

I'm sorry for your loss but 8 is way too old to not give a ****. I have memories since I was 2-3 years old and I remember being very attached to my father in that period till I was 8, the most attached actually. Kids below 10 need their parents more than ever.

Wtf my grandma died when I was 4 and I still have a ****... Just imagine if it were my dad and i actually had interactions with him and then if I was older .. Like wtf 8 is not too young, that's more than enough time to bond and grow attachments to somebody, residually your parent

Naruto and it is honestly not even close. However, Sasuke's pain was just as bad in his mind as Naruto's. In other words, their perceived pain was equal, which is all that really matters. Naruto just has significantly greater mental fortitude than Sasuke, which is nothing new.
