If an opponent can anticipate action of his foe, he can prepare for the upcoming impact. Which is why Naruto was sent flying instead of getting or suffering a fatal or near-fatal blow. For perfect Senjutsu, that's a successful feat, if we look at it from that aspect.



Those variants made Madara shit his pants. Versatility doesn't mean quality and greatness, Naruto is the perfect example of that.

I wasn't downplaying the variants, because they are arguably the some of the strongest jutsu in the manga.. I'm saying since its naruto, it's unlikely for him to master sand when his forte is resengans..

Thats not true, just because so far he's only been using rasengan variants doesn't mean he has a disability to learn any other jutsu. Im pretty sure he could do it if he wants, its not hard.

Of course. Naruto isn't that type of a character. He has a few but very powerful techniques. Sasuke is the one who is versatile. That complements their characters in general.

I agree it's possible, but you got to agree that it's not as possible as Sasuke mastering the rinnengan.

We all know how Naruto learn the S rank juts and it had very little to do with him being a genius..
