I don't even know where to begin... Kaguya didn't have skill due to being braindead first of all. Second of all, she had so much power that she didn't need skill. She dealt with Sasuke and left him in the desert for example and Naruto was screwed without both seals. As BZ said, a rookie with a master weapon can be defeated by a pro with a rock or whatever it was. She was a Goddess. Not a trained shinobi. Skills are used to make the best of a bad situation, save chakra & defeat opponents in the most efficient way. Kaguya had no limits or training and therefore lost.
