Because he's the most intriguing, whether you hate him or not. That's the genius behind kishi's making sasuke lol. Even if you hate sasuke, you can't shut up abut him.

In my opinion,i agree with scott.Sasuke is overrated.and they made him power-hungry,they made him seem as if he was a god.and its too much too fast.First orochimaru,taka,itachi,mangekyou sharingan,akatsuki,danzo,raikage,and killer bee. kishimoto really put sasuke on some serious steroids,and gave him some type of rage pill,because like within 50 episodes this stuff happened.kishimoto is gonna lose alot of naruto fans because it's all predictable.the road sasuke's taking right now isn't too pleasant he's gonna die by naruto because he's obsessed with revenge.IMO he's a Dumb***.

I believe if the show ends like that ........it would mean that it was all meaningless the show would be a very stupid show.

i am an itachi fun because he waste no time when it comes to battle,sasuke is also my next top fun,at his current level right now he can take out any ninja if he wants to,sasuke could have kill d 8 tails with amaterasu from the bigging of the fight if he wanted,sasuke is just testing his powers right now so it will seem like he is having a hard time to finish his battles,naruto way of fighting is a joke,he does'nt fight like a ninja,he lack tactics and thats where sasuke get all his praise.sasuke is skilled and full of ninja tactics,his battles have more fun in it cause we will always see somthing NEW.i dont think he is overrated, ppl are just expecting to much from him right now,give him a break,we have not seen half of what he could do,sasuke can quickly finish any battle right now deh with amataratsu,and for you ppl that said he is nothing with out the sharingan take it back because he was born with it so that make him gifted,and as we saw in ep 202 he is willing to fight a full scale battle in the most dengerous place,so he is also a brave bad ass ninja.what i want ppl to keep in mind is sasuke fights battle after battle with no rest against the top ninjas SO I THINK HE IS UNDERATED

Not really. That's your opinion just like I have mine. You say that Sasuke and Naruto have to come together to beat Madara like you KNOW that's whats going to happen. No offense but, you don't sh*t about what's going to happen just like I don't! Kishi could make Kabuto kill Madara for all we know and he could become the supreme bad guy. Also, Sasuke's current idea of restoring his clan involves destroying the Hidden Leaf Village. Do you honestly think that will happen? Naw bro! Even with MS, 1)Sasuke could barely combat the Raikage. Both Naruto and especially Gaara had horrible childhoods, yet neither submit to the darkness. Sasuke is like a prepubescent teen caught in his rebellious mode and went a little too far. Further, Sasuke is selfish. Whereas his brother,2) Itachi, was willing to sacrafice (nearly) his entire clan for the good of Konoha, Sasuke merely takes his own feelings into consideration. Whilst Naruto takes everybody into consideration, even before himself. also add the only purpose of Sasuke in the entire series was to be Naruto's rival. Gaara, who's childhood was probably worst than Sasuke too outgrew his ridiculous rage and hatred and overcame his darkness and grew the the rank of Kage, sacrificing himself to save his entire village.

3)Yet, where does Sasuke end up? serving Orochimaru for more "power" to get revenge. Betraying everybody he cares about, his new family and friends for revenge. Then, he finally finds his revenge to discovers that he is in fact an idiot, continues "revenge" to cover up his stupidity.

As for the Sasuke vs Danzo fight, props for Sasuke. I never did like Danzo, even though Danzo genuinely cared for Konoha and was willing to do anything to protect it.

4)Why is Sasuke over rated? Because he is shallow, self centered and immature.

If you're going to attempt to rebuttal anything I've stated, at least have the common courtesy to use a spell checker (let alone use complete, non run on sentences with punctuation).

1)i think he did great...a lost a arm and was going to lose a leg or more and sasuke came out with min injury

And as for ur post, well sir, itachi was NOT perfectly healthy before his fight with sasuke... Perhaps due to overuse of M.S he had sustained a disease or disorder.... His reflexes were also slow....
And i neither think sasuke is overrated nor underrated... We have to see him more to decide that... But he isn't much of a great strategist like itachi... Though he is a strategist... (And he is also selfish) And i would like to make an appeal to all narutobase members, DON'T JUMP TO ANYONE'S THROAT... Keep the atmosphere amicable.... Respect the opinions of others!

So its not dumb to apply win/loss records when ur try'n to deem someone overrated or not (p.s. I'm not saying der not strong just saying dat if u all think sasuke is overrated den by default day r as well )

Its not dumb, I could see why you would use records, but in the naruto universe it holds hardly any weight because stuff goes on behinde the scenes we dont know about. And Lets not forget that Jiraiya trained Minato, does that mean nothing at all?? That fact has nothing to do with records. And technically minato didnt "beat" madara so i guess his "record" is bad. How about the Raikage? He technically didnt beat sasuke or really anyone we know of so i guess hes weak too.

I never said sage mode made you invincible but it makes you strong and it means something when your the only one who can do it (at one time he was the only one).

As far as the third being overrated I could almost agree to that if it werent for that fight that he had against oro and the 1st and 2nd hokage where he held his own.

Lastly Guy utterly owned Kisame even under Water!!! Itachi said to kisame not to under estimate Guy. Itachi was a good person at heart and avoided battle at all cost but he was also smart and knew if he had entered into battle with Jiraiya (or Guy and the group) alot of damage would have been delt to both sides enought to the point whre he didnt want to risk it.

Couldn't have said it better myself! I grudgingly give him credit for beating Danzo, in fact I was glad at first because I HATED Danzo even worse than him. Until soon after when he betrayed Karin in the most f'd up kind of way. No matter how bad some of the other characters were, deep down they had some sense of morality (Pain, Gaara, Zabuza, etc.), but seems like Sasuke's is completely absent. Which COULD be construed as semi-cool (like Itachi - early days) if he weren't such a whiny bitch. Overrated, absolute scumbag who WILL be put in his place sooner or later :flaw:

*Ultimate end: wish Madara, or anyone for that matter, would "hand him over" to Kabuto/Orochimaru to be his guinea pig/bitch forever. And they lived happily ever after...
