Sasuke is Overrated!

haha c'mon man its a funny play on words. in my country we play a game called AFL and if people dont like it they call it GAYFL, which even though i love the game i find it hilarous. just dont get so worked up
what make you think itachi whould not last 10 mins with pein??we did not see half of what itachi could do,kakashi said befor he got put down on his face.pein is slow with his eyes,he is said to have ther most powerful eyes but still could not see shit,eg,kakashi clone in their battle,he also did not see the trap with the chains kakashi used,he got caught twice in a barria in jiraya battle,itachi is very fast and full of tactics pein slow eyes whould not notice.30 seconds of Amaterasu and pein is dust. pls dont put slow a** ninjas vs itachi cause they will droup dead in seconds.we will soon be seeing some of itachi tactics being use by sasuke and i already no it will be skilled at top level
Dear Lord, I can't believe that this thread is still going on! O.O Who cares of he's overrated or not? Every story needs a protagonist (Naruto) and an antagonist (Sasuke, Madara, & Kabuto), such is the way to make the story interesting.
Sasuke has gotten really strong and power hungry here of late. His bloodthirstyness is gangsta but he can't escape his fate of becoming the most hated/hunted rogue ninja in the Naruto world. But, all the power in the world won't save him from losing it all in the end. It's actually pretty simple if you've been watching and reading Naruto from the beginning. Sasuke will either die, lose all of his powers, or be turned back into a good guy again but not allowed in any hidden villages.
I personally hope he gets decapitated!!!That would be such an awesome ending to NARUTO!!! xd

Sasuke is definitely over rated.
Even with MS, Sasuke could barely combat the Raikage. Both Naruto and especially Gaara had horrible childhoods, yet neither submit to the darkness. Sasuke is like a prepubescent teen caught in his rebellious mode and went a little too far. Further, Sasuke is selfish. Whereas his brother, Itachi, was willing to sacrafice (nearly) his entire clan for the good of Konoha, Sasuke merely takes his own feelings into consideration. Whilst Naruto takes everybody into consideration, even before himself. also add the only purpose of Sasuke in the entire series was to be Naruto's rival. Gaara, who's childhood was probably worst than Sasuke too outgrew his ridiculous rage and hatred and overcame his darkness and grew the the rank of Kage, sacrificing himself to save his entire village.
Yet, where does Sasuke end up? serving Orochimaru for more "power" to get revenge. Betraying everybody he cares about, his new family and friends for revenge. Then, he finally finds his revenge to discovers that he is in fact an idiot, continues "revenge" to cover up his stupidity.
As for the Sasuke vs Danzo fight, props for Sasuke. I never did like Danzo, even though Danzo genuinely cared for Konoha and was willing to do anything to protect it.
Why is Sasuke over rated? Because he is shallow, self centered and immature.
If you're going to attempt to rebuttal anything I've stated, at least have the common courtesy to use a spell checker (let alone use complete, non run on sentences with punctuation).

you make alot of great points but this is just bashing. your bringing up things that happened in the past? really?(Im not a hater just laying out facts)

3.Before the final fight with naruto,i really dont remember him lol...he couldnt beat rock lee, he couldnt beat Gaara, i think he peed his pants when he saw orochimaru for the first time and i dont even remember him in the fight with zabuza.
4. he waited until orochimaru was at his weakest to attack him...orochimaru healthy would have destroyed sasuke
5.deidara had him beat but he..yet again had to depend on orochimaru and bring out Manda to keep him alive other wise he would be dead.
6.killer bee killed him like 2times, if it wasnt for his team...sauske would be dead
7.he thought he was billy bad a** and walked into the five kage submitt and got whip by the raikage...gaara had to help,then the mizukage had him but father madara helped.
8.lets not forget he went all out and you cant say he didnt, and couldnt keep up with,50%/Poison/holding back itatchi even after getting that power from orochimaru

in every fight lost or won, Sasuke has had he has came out stronger. just like Naruto. through their failures, experiences and even through competing with one each other they are becoming two of the strongest characters in Naruto.
Sasuke is not overrated. matter fact i've never seen anyone to overrate him. i can name a few people that are definently overrated though like Itachi.. i can name people that are underrated like Tsunade. but Sasuke deserves the level of rank he has.

U are foolish...... sasuke works hard and has a brain....... think about it, if was'nt for the nine tail fox naruto would have been dead from the start off the show A LATE BUT BIG EXAMPLE when NARUTO fort PAIN. u said that sasuke depended on the curse mark or on orochimaru's power but naruto depends on the fox a lot. ..... sasuke got his skills or training the hard way by having to leave the village to get stronger, reason being no one endeavored to train sasuke but kakashi, who isnt very strong. Naruto had traing from jiraya who is strong and yet he fail at the bridge ( final valley ) to stop sasuke from leaving .... WHY ? because naruto was weaker than sasuke .............so u is a sad hater. Think about it the people u say sasuke lose to and the ones he won against u think naruto would have stand a chance with out especially THE NINE TAILS FOX ....... True indeed. But i shall continue to defend sasuke against the wave of biased sasuke haters. Can't wait for sasuke to beat someone's ass again so the haters start whining some more, it makes them look funny.

Like i've said before, this is a biased thread made by a biased person, for biased sasuke haters, nothing more and most of them are naruto, minato or jaraiya fans. Honestly, I don't think any character is truely overrated but sasuke definitely wouldn't be one of them and if so then so is naruto, minato and many others lol.
