I think Sasuke could get there, he is not quite there yet(Naruto is not ready also), and he is definetily nowhere near on Itachi's level of mind set.

Leading a Team and leading Nation/Village are 2 different things. If those where the same than Military generals would be the president and congress.

The ONE most obvious shred of proof that Naruto Excels over Sasuke in becoming Hokage is the fact Naruto can reflect and look at the emotions he is feeling. He can assess the situation and make a clear headed choice. Even when he is enraged by the power of the 9 tails ( as seen when Negato and naruto spoke ).

Sasuke doesn't see his emotions and just acts on them. He would kill his own and past team mates without flinching.
Saving Sakura during battle isn't him changing. It's him fighting and it's obvious sense to save the Healer in the middle of a fight against a Literal GOD creature. But I bet you he wouldn't have stopped to kill her if Danzo took her prisoner or if she was working with Itachi back when Sasuke went to kill him.
I agree. However, leadership is often displayed on small scale, then the person rises up. they're are a couple generals that did become President. However, you are correct that just because a man is a general doesn't mean he would make a good president. let my clarify my point. Sasuke won't become Hokage, adviser, Anbu leader or leader of anything because he was the leader of Hebi. However, his leadership of Hebi demonstrates he has leadership skills. Hebi showed he has the skillset but not the means to become Hokage.

i agree with the rest of your points but Sasuke is changing. he's still a dark character. dark enough to qualify as a monster by some but it's still an improvement. at the very least, he felt some shame and apologized to Karin. we'll have to agree to disagree. Naruto said he became less dark

yes, Sasuke won't become Hokage but he will be adviser. You've listed many valid reasons why Naruto makes the better Hokage and I agree. they'll probably have a Hiruzen and Danzo relationship but be willing to work together. if you're really curious see the thread in my sig.

He lacks understanding. I can see him become a Hokage like Tobirama.... who isn't considered the top Hokage.. but someone like Hashirama? nah. Actually either like Tobirama or maybe more like Danzo.

Understanding is something the Hokage must have.

Sasuke is breaking his clans curse of hatred and Sasuke unlike Madara is actually trying to fight it now, Sasuke knows about the history so he can avoid making the same mistakes the previous Hokages have made, and the previous Hokages actually do have a reason to recommend Sasuke... he actually had a change of heart and wanted to ask questions before jumping the gun again and going straight to Konoha and destroying it he listened to what the Edo Hokages had to say and Sasuke has even inspired Orochimaru to abort his Operation Destroy Konoha which even Oros former sensei couldn't do..
A history lesson does not make Sasuke qualified, and once again the Hokage have no reason to trust Sasuke, he admitted to wanting to destroy the village before.

The Hokage just wanted to keep him from trying to destroy the village, they have never once shown any approval with him becoming Hokage.

In fact when Sasuke tried to destroy the Tailed Beasts Hashirama showed disapproval.

Then we have the Hokage wanking Naruto to no end throughout the battle, they are more likely to recommend him. (Tobirama openly said that Naruto could become a better Hokage then Hashirama.)

you misunderstand what wisdom actually is.

Wisdom: It is the ability to perform the correct action under given circumstances. Therefore that means a person with wisdom seeks or possess knowledge of the given circumstances. They understand events, situations and are able to apply the knowledge they possess to these situations and apply their actions while understanding what the right course of action actually is.

An example of a wise hokage would be sarutobi, he was wise enough to keep the fact that naruto was a jinchuuriki from the other kids because he knew that if he hadn't naruto would have turned like gaara and been a danger to the village.

Danzo's decision to elliminate the uchiha clan, was a harsh but wise decision because if he hadn't a war would have broke out. He understood the situation and took the right course of action.

Sasuke's decision to eliminate the tailed beasts can be considered a harsh but wise decisions because he understands the threat the tailed beasts pose. He understands the world is not perfect and that world peace is not easy to come by. Therefore he is getting rid of tools that can cause destruction.

Sasuke may not always be nice but in terms of understanding politics he is far ahead of naruto imo.
still won't explain why sasuke would kill those who truly cared for him, why would he destroy konoha when 99% people had nothing to do with it?
Those are harsh decisiond. Not wise one, and after the truth was revealed to him by the former hokages, why would he be envious of naruto instead of figuring out how to utilize his power for the greater good of the alliance? He just wants to kill and redeem the uchia...sasuke has a tunnel vision issue.

Sasuke's decision to destroy the Tailed Beasts wasn't wise it was ignorant.

Tailed Beasts don't die permanently, they would reform after a few years and they aren't going to be in a friendly mood when they come back.

I've always thought Sasuke considered betrayal for him to have new bonds. this is part of the reason why he planned to kill the Leaf, to prove to himself he was a loyal Uchiha. he also wanted to kill the village because he was paying evil until evil. the village elders killed his aunt though she couldn't possibly have been involved. she was an innocent killed because of what the Uchiha elders were doing. Sasuke was doing the same thing. killing everyone not just the guilty ones because they killed everyone, not just the guilty. He's completely wrong for doing this. paying evil unto evil is still evil but it is more understandable.

he's envious of Naruto because he has more than one goal. goal 1-defend alliance goal 2-be superior to Naruto because of Sasuke's inferiority complex. he was stunned which is why he didn't react.

edit: killing tailed beasts is not wise.

"Don't give a dam abt wat u guys think abt me " & I'll change the world in my own way u must accept that "

These words & way of thinking are more than Enough to say that Sasuke lacks the qualities of a kage

Ok first supremely exaggerated both of those quotes...
And second how could the Tailed Beasts possibly come back if they are sealed into le Jyubi.... especially since the Jyubi is what they originally came from... Naruto most likely saw this and wanted to pull them out so that would not happen...

I understand you are a Sasuke hater... but
1. Imo sasuke has made a decision in the manga... and if Naruto seriously can see what is evil and parts with it... why did he spend basically all of Shippuden chasing after Sasuke like another fangirl
2. Yes Naruto has lost a fight to a kage he has lost to Tsunade
3. No all of Sasukes fights with kages either ended up inconclusive or in a victory from Sasuke
4. Currently Naruto but that is due to his Uzumaki clan heritage, Kyubi, and him being the main character...

Sasuke knows and understands the previous mistakes of the previous Hokages and he even said he doesn't want their hard work to go to waste and that is why he wants to be Hokage and may even be recommended by the Edo Hokages (unlikely but still a possibility)
You deserve a Gold Medal plus the good shit B)

he exactly knows what 2 do as a hokage....
though he was twisted previously....
just don't give this damn reason of being manipulated....
2 think of that reason everyone in the Narutoverse was manipulate by someone in one way or the other...
even Naruto was manipulated by his own father to bear the ten tails & become it's host 2 stop Obito someday
be it a good or bad way,
no one acted on their own whim....

Sasuke is far to emotional and inconsistant, to make a great hokage. While he generally might make better decisions about village matters such as economics, etc, he would lack the support of the village, and he would rule completely by himself. He would not be receptive to the ideas of others. Also, sasuke is not inspireing to other people.

Narutos leadership skills, have not actually been put to the test, so we dont know how good a leader he may be. Based off the fact that he is able, and chooses to take charge, it would seem he has the leadership skills to be hokage. He also has a critical skill, of being able to uplift morale, and does not go back on what he says.(being firm and strong, is another skill that is needed to be a good hokage).

Its as simple as this.

Sasuke. Not good at instilling morale. Not good at makeing wise decisions when emotional(and he is emotional frequently). When someone does something to hurt him, he seeks to crush/destroy them, instead of showing mercy, and forgiveness.
He cares more about himself than others(in a very major way). He seeks to be hokage to change the system, for his selfish reasons(to preserve what itachi, and his clan gave their lives for). Hes arrogant, and doesnt view others as equals. He values his own life more than others(besides his clan members).

He would make a terrible hokage, but a excellent right hand man, to the hokage.(or maybe even cohokage. Simply as a standalone hokage, he would be bad, but maybe if he co ruled with naruto, then he would be ok/good)

Naruto

Inspires other people. Is capable of instilling morale. Will never give up. Cares vastly about other people, even people he barely knows. Values others lives more than his own. Is receptive to others teachings. Is capable of makeing good decisions when enraged.(sasuke cannot do this) Naruto chooses to teach mercy and forgiveness. Naruto seeks to make world peace, because it is his goal in life. Naruto has the support of THE ENTIRE NINJA WORLD(literally entire ninja world...there are very few people, who do not support naruto(other than villians). A leader can do much more with the support of his people, let alone the world.

Narutos only real weakness, is makeing good decisions for the village(economically). He occasionally forgets some major details(see naruto forgetting nagato has the paths powers, and naruto forgetting that only senjutsu works against juubito)(it is possible, as naruto gets older this would fade away)

The other problem/strength, is naruto cares to much about others, and may not make hard decisions. But perhaps, it is the hard decisions, that truly lead to the cycle of hatred. So this quality, could be either very good, or bad.

Naruto would be a much better hokage overall, as he has MOST of the hokage qualities. He has a few faults, but has more than enough positives to make up for it.

The best case scenario, for the future of the village(choseing hokage) would be to either appoint naruto hokage, and have sasuke be his right hand man, or make naruto and sasuke co hokages.

The simple conclusion, is that sasuke would be terrible at being hokage(as he lacks most qualities needed to be a good one).

Sasuke has the a lot of exeprience as leader and the one thing that sets him apart is the fact that he accomplishes his missions and inspires the people around him to accomplish these goals: killing itachi, capture of bee (although he escaped using a subsitution) and the killing of danzo. He has formed a team set goals and accomplished them. The one thing that i like about Sasuke and Naruto is once their minds arfe set to do something thats usually whats going to happen.

Dude, Minato was forced 2 do that
like wise,
in the case of Sasuke & Itachi,
when he wanted to make his brother suffer that much,
it was the situation which forced them to manipulate their beloved ones even
as in case of Minato & Naruto
& in the case of the Uchiha brothers too....
