I specifically mentioned "temporarily", I didn't mean permanent immortality like Kaguya but temporary, if he made his full body into a robot he could avoid fatal wounds during a fight, it;s like how Suigetsu avoids it by turning his body into water

I never said immortal mean omnipotent or flawless. I said it shut you off from growing stronger without an outside source. meaning they can only get stronger by taking an outside source power and adding it to their own.
Orochimaru and Kaguya are the number one mangafact example. Orochimaru is pretty much immortal, but he only get stronger by taking on a stronger body. kaguya is immortal, but only get stronger by taking more chakra from other people. Hell... The Bourto movie is a perfect example.

Being Immortal simply means you can't die, Kaguya is an example of immortality, she never died despite being over a thousand years old, the only way to defeat her is by sealing her away.

lol I have never said being immortal means you can die. Of course you can't die, if you're immortal. But I'm saying, you can't grow stronger if you're immortal, unless you have an outside source of chakra such as the bijuus or NE for sage mode or taking people's chakra.
OP pretty much asked would you want to be immortal. I'm simply saying no, because once you're immortal, you will stop growing stronger on your own unless you have an outside source of chakra supplying you.

That's not what I was talking about here. I was just pointing out the disadvantage of having a robotic body. Its easy to shatter and as far as we know doesn't have any regenerative abilities. Having an organic body with regenerative abilities would be better over a robotic one imo.
umm actutally, Kaguya and Orochimaru are the number one example. Kaguya can only get stronger by taking chakra from other. Orochimaru have to take over a stronger body add dna to himself to get stronger.
