I think it may have something to do with his genjutsu on the Bijuus, through which he turned them into the cores of CT.
Anyway this level of CT won't stop Naruto who has Juubi jin tier physical strength. To seal Naruto, he needs another moon tier CT.....though I doubt he is capable of that on his own, but who knows!! xd

It has to be seperate as CT never needed a genjutsu before.

I think he put them under genjutsu to prevent them from busting out or to prevent Naruto from communicating with them.

He was probably saving energy so that he wouldn't need to build a stronger CT to confine them.

I noticed that too. Usually, you need the gravity core to initiate chibaku tensei but sasuke did it without a core. He used the bijuu as the core for the gravity manipulation tech. That's pretty cool but should be impossible by NV standards. Something needs to produce the gravity to activate the technique. Plus, the gravity core was the weakness of the tech (when itachi, naruto and bee destroyed it). So, does that mean that his chibaku tensei has no weakness?

Couldn't this actually be a special case for the bijuu considering how the technique was initially used on the condensed form of the bijuu chakra (Juubi)?

The gudoudama can negate all ninjutsu. Last I've checked, chibaku tensei was a ninjutsu and Naruto does have gudoudama.

Tires out? if anyone tires out it'll be Sasuke since his Chakra reserve is hella lot lower then Naruto's and now Naruto can regain Chakra on the move thanks to Sage Mode so really that won't do Sasuke any good lol oh and S/T won't do anything once in SM mode Naruto will sense him coming a mile off.
