What scan did i post? Also that isn't due to talent. You can't even confuse the two.
Nah Sasuke was called a genius and a prodigy in many instances.
And here's what I'm saying, the term 'genius' was being thrown around shamelessly like the term 'god'. Sasuke was a ninja of talent that was not seen since Hashirama's time, to his and Kakashi's generation he was seen as a genius like how Hiruzen was seen as a god when he clearly wasn't (despite being the strongest after Hashirama).
Just because Itachi is one of a kind shouldn't downplay anyone especially when half the people in Naruto pale in comparison to him.
And there is your definition of what a genius is, a one of a kind. Sasuke was extremely creative in his use of jutsu I'm not denying that, it's normal to assume he was a genius but the fact is he wasn't.
What made him so exceptional was his talent. His ability to learn any jutsu because as an Indra incarnate he possessed Hagoromo's talent from the get go.
Sasuke's talent exceeds anything a human should be capable of, that makes him a unique prodigy but not a genius.
A genius is someone who's rational thinking exceeds what a person should be capable of, something Itachi was infamous for and something even Neji displayed with the ability to self-teach himself high tier jutsu, like Itachi.
Remember how Rinnegan grants potential to master every jutsu ? That's what Indra inherited and passed on to his incarnates. Sasuke inherited the talent that granted him Hagoromo's potential, not the genius that grants Itachi, Tobirama and Minato's rational ability.
