I don't know, I never asked Kishimoto so saying what I thought he'd say would just be speculation.

The argument that Kakashi isn't "kage level" is invalid. He was supposed to be Hokage, twice. All of the other kage insisted Kakashi be Hokage. If the kage say you should be a kage, then you're on their level.

I say Kakashi would win because of his sharingan he would be able to see through all the attacks and not get poisoned. Then using lightning blade just run straight in for the kill with nothing to stop him, since he has sharingan he would know Sasori's weak point to be his heart.

Location:to be fair,the place where they fight is neutral.meaning neither both of them can take advantage from the location.

both are at full knowledge against each other.

3 in the manga, the rest in the anime. I didn't say just manga so I wasn't wrong at all. Naruto.wiki says Rasengan is wind release. Still, the point stands: Kakashi can use many elements, at least 4.

Kakashi watched Rock Lee open 3 gates at the Chuunin exams, I didn't just pull it from nowhere. If you're sure he can then why say I was incorrect?

I'm not impressed with words like "aforementioned." I am impressed with anyone that can use exegesis. It doesn't seem like I had "a lot" wrong. If I didn't know better I'd say you just picked out a few small things because you disagree on the outcome. I know better though.

Just because Kakashi watched Lee open 4 gates, I'm pretty sure Lee opened 4 in that fight, does not mean that he can use the gates. That doesn't even make sense, he didn't have his sharingan out and even if he did you can't copy the gates.

Oh and I don't think anyone counts anime as canon, as of right now Kakashi only has 3 elements, that is why I said "4 in the anime".

about the needles. im sure if chiyo and sakura can dodge them all with no problem kakashi can too.

sasori's first puppet. (in other words the one he uses to disguise/defend himself.) yes wood does not conduct electricity. but it still works because wood DOES conduct heat and flame. kakashis chidori could burn through his first puppet with ease. a good lightning bolt could easily take down a tree.

sasoris 100 puppets: this is where i lose faith in kakashis ability to win. 100 puppets might be too much for him. kinda sucks but its true.

sasori himself:if for some reason kakashi does make it here (i dont know how he could) then it should be pretty easy dodging giant blocks of iron sand. the as well as the branch shower. especially with his sharingan.

Thats not a good point. Sakura and Chiyo were the best possible combo against Sasori. Make no mistake, that guy defeated the most powerful Kazekage in history when he was 15 years old teenager. If it was Kakashi who was fighting Sasori, he would get raped.

HAHAHAH! (I'm a sadist. I find laughter where ever a slightly one-sided heated debate takes place.)

The reason why I think Sasori actually lost to Sakura and Chiyo is mainly because Chiyo was a puppet user, making it the reason WHY she knew how to control Sakura for her to dodge all those needles. Moreover, Chiyo was the one who taught Sasori how to use puppets so she should have an idea of his style. Kakashi, with his sharingan adding precision into his nimble abilities, could most likely manage to dodge the needles. But, no matter how much I love him and I REALLY do, there're just so many needles that he's bound to get scratched. And the time when he'll get scratched is when the battle drags out for too long, thus making him slow down.

Kamui, yes it's a strong move, I would TOTALLY know... (I'm not trolling on Kakashi. I love him very much, but I'm trying to look at this at an unbiased view.) But Kakashi starts faltering after one use. And as for the range of what he can suck into it, I don't think it can suck all of Sasori's puppets. Of course, he could always aim it directly at Sasori, but Sasori's not just gonna be a sitting target like Deidara.

Hey, I love both characters, and I hate being wishy-washy, but I honestly would have to SEE the fight to believe this particular one. Sasori's strong, but Kakashi's craftier.

I would love to see this happen instead of any of the other battles that have been going on in the manga. (Sheesh, I really don't care about Darui since he's like a filler character to me and no one wants to see Choji turn into a freakin butterfly...)

So, I basically just named the faults of Kakashi. Who wants me to name the faults for Sasori? lol

ok lets think this sasori even if he tries hitting kakashi with his 1000 needles Kakashi can use earth or water barrier to protect him from the most and he can dodge the rest i believe and lets not forget Kakashi can also use the most of the elements also he can release gates.i mean in ninja fighting u dont rush at ur opponent deception is an part of the game also raikiri can cut the chakra fibres correct me if i am wrong.also his kamui has improved extremely well as judging form the pain battle so doubt it would be much tough.

Just so you know I am pretty sure Kamui doesn't do interdimensions. I think it just transports it withing Naruto's world. So it would only be a draw then and the battle would just commence again once they had found each other. That is why Deidara was able to get his arm back after it had been sucked in by Kamui.

The person that started the thread has used Naruto.wiki several times as a reference. However, I agree that rasengan isn't wind release. I thought it was only chakra which is why it took so long to perfect.

Kakashi did have his sharingan active, see Naruto 85 pg 9 on this site. Naruto 85, pg 18 Kakashi watches Lee open the 5th gate. Then in Naruto 93 pg 8 Kakashi appears to open the first gate while rock climbing, one-handed, with his other arm tied behind his back. Kakashi did say that he couldn't see the gates open with his sharingan.... so...... none of that makes any sense.

Am I crazy? That is not a very nice thing to ask. Especially since I made a valid point and Naruto Wiki is perhaps the most unreliable source you could have gotten your information from, if I wanted to I could go there now and change the article to make it say whatever I want so I wouldn't trust everything you read there.

So once again, I'm pretty sure kamui does not do interdimensions, Kakashi could gain access to this I think if he trained, but right now whenever he uses kamui on something then we see that it just moves to somewhere else in the Naruto world. (Deidara's arm after kakashi sucks it in, go check it, he gets his arm sewn back on by kakuzu after someone in Akatsuki finds it)

I know Kakashi can open one gate, I only disagreed with where you got the number 3. Saying he can open up 3 gates is arbitrary and there is no evidence for it.

Also I'm confused, you agree that Kakashi can't copy the gates with his sharingan or you think he can? Because if Kakashi said he can't see the gates then that means he can't copy them, so I guess Kishi says he can't copy the gates also. Kakashi can probably open up a few because he is an all around sort of ninja. Jack of all trades- master of a few ( I was going to say master of none to finish the old saying, but he is a master of some)
