If that was the case with Madara then he would have MS at an early age then but he didn't even his sharingan didn't awaken till he broke his bond with Hashirama shisui and Madara are a mystery. Kakashi didn't know he awakened MS when he killed rin he got his again by training or unknown means my point still stands.

Him not knowing he has it dosen't change him having it.
Sasuke didn't know he had 1t sharingan until he fought haku, in which one of his eyes progressed to 2t.

Kakashi had MS but didn't know so he had to awaken it again. Same as Sasuke with Sharingan he had it at 7 years old but forgot due to the trauma but later awakened it again vs Haku.
