At this point, it is pretty much confirmed that Sarada won't be a medic - well, at least for those who can think properly. People keep saying she'll be a carbon copy of Sakura, even though the Boruto director said in an interview that they're doing the best they can for the new kids to be different and not copies of their parents.
Why it's pretty much confirmed that she won't be a medic:
- She looks up to Naruto and admires him. As long as I remember, Naruto isn't a medic.
- She wants to be a Hokage. Meaning she can't limit herself to a single fighting style, she needs to be a strong, versatile shinobi.
- In the DB, her CES wasn't even listed as one of her attributes and skills, but instead, they listed lightning, marksmanship, genjutsu and ninjutsu knowledge
- The only reason she has CES is because Sakura is the only one there for her and still, she has lightning release, which, she probably learned by herself
- Sakura, even in part 1, was the support shinobi on the team, while Sarada is pretty much the opposite,
Even though she won't become a medic, I wouldn't mind her learning some medical stuff from Sakura, that would actually be very good for her.
She would be such a versatile shinobi with medical ninjutsu added to her arsenal. That would make her more self-sustainable in combat, meaning she wouldn't need to hold herself to go all out in a combat, she could make more risky moves and stuff.
