If Boruto is upsetting you, maybe you should move on to another series that isn't targeted towards teenagers in a genre where the demographic of readers are mostly males and as a result puts more time and effort into that gender.

All of the ones crying need to realize this.

The author and artist have been close to kishimoto since the start. Kishimoto has been giving his female characters the short end of the stick since the start of the original run. Believing that just because she has sharingan means she's going to avoid being a victim of being a female in shounen, is only setting yourself up for disappointment.

People have literally been saying this since Boruto was first announced as a part 3. She isn't useless as people said, in fact, she's a self sufficient character for the most part and leaps and bounds better than Sakura.

That in itself is way better than anything you can hope from anything in the Narutoverse when it comes to character development for a female. People need to realize Sarada isn't Boruto's rival, but his friend and potential love interest.

The sooner you comprehend that, the better. It's been years and people are still in denial. Some of you are adults and need to move on. People who have said NARUTO ended on 699 and everything else is filler are winning. People who enjoy Boruto are winning. Sarada zealots are the only ones losing (because you're vehemently rejecting her role in the story) and it seems you'd prefer being butthurt about Boruto until the very end.

That's way too much energy to be giving to something you dislike.

Nothing in your reply took into account of Sarada's goal and character development. It made me not even want to reply to you. Prioritizing her, "putting boruto on his ass" or show him up as if that's her only drive is shallow. Neither of their goals in the series clash.

Naruto didn't want to lose to Sasuke and wanted to beat him. That clashed because they were not only rivals, but Sasuke didn't want to lose to Naruto and wanted to beat him.

When it comes to Boruto and Sarada:

-Sarada wishes to be Hokage like Naruto.
-Boruto wishes to be her aid in the same way Sasuke is for his dad.

There's no conflict of interest there. Their only conflict is their personalities clashing which is due to their dynamic interactions as childhood friends. They bicker, but show concern, they get hurt when either lie or mislead them, they trust each other and want to see each other succeed and most importantly:

They do not believe themselves to be superior in the same way Sasuke viewed Naruto.


This is why Sarada fans who have this thought process are going to have a tough time.

Yet, when Boruto puts it in jeapordy by not being able to make it, she doesn't berate him or talk about how it interferes with her goals. she understands Boruto wouldn't normally opt out on a mission (unless it has something to do with his father) and understands.

Sakura has more Ls than I can count at her crap characterization, from her abusiveness to selfishness to incompetence to dishonesty to promiscuity, plastered all throughout part 1, part 2, and part 3 there is not a shred of dignity left in Sakura's character, so all her fans can resort to is talking about power levels, and now those same people are afraid to make the same mistake twice, so all they care about Salad is her powers.

Not to mention anyone with an iota of common sense and understanding of shonen knows that the main character > everyone, especially the main heroine. Then again, Melanin is a SSS tard who can't tell the difference between a deadbeat dad and abusive mom to a hard working father and loving mother, so I can at least understand why comprehending basic storytelling is such a hard task.

I don’t ever remember saying that was a goal of her nor would I like to be a goal of hers (including rivaling Boruto) I it actually would limit her character and make the series a dead ass follow the template of the original manga. Sarada’s goal is to be her strongest self among everyone else (acknowledged) which is why I like her character, being just as strong or as formidable as Boruto (which she is) a perk.

Everything in my reply takes into account saradas character development and becuase it’s cohesive to her performance in not just the anime or manga but novel too. (In the novel) Sarada doesn’t know it yet but she has a competitiveness that pushes her in training and doesn’t like the idea of being overshadowed by boys, Sasuke picked up on this in the novel and laughs about which takes place shortly after the Momoshiki arc. Sasuke even teases her a a nonchalant way refrencing how strong you know who was in the fight against the kages.

You should go read up before you talk about things like shallowness becuase their is nothing shallow about wantig to be your strongest self even if it means aiming for a particular target as motivation, it’s actually a complement and super realistic.

When it comes to Boruto and Sarada:

-Sarada wishes to be Hokage like Naruto.

This is the shallow part, their characters are progressively growing past or contouring into something different but the same as their original goal becuase of the way their world (plot) is changing. Naruto started out wanting to be a plain ole hokage that protected the people in his village but as the plot progressed that turned into Naruto not just wanting to protect the village and its people but the shinobi world and everyone in it (elevated his goals).

^Same is going to happen for Boruto & Sarada, especially Boruto becuase its already happening to him. You do understand characters out grow the original goals right?

I never suggested as such but it is a fact that they are watching each other’s progress and the fact of the matter is when they were testing the ninja tool Boruto clearly thought or felt himself superior or had an expectation of beating Sarada. Why else would he blindly charge Sarada so confidently after telling her he wouldn’t hold back. Even Boruto’s reaction to losing too Sarada paints the opposite of what your trying to apply. He was clearly upset he lost and took it to heart.. that means there was an expectation to beat her.

This is why Sarada fans who have this thought process are going to have a tough time.

Him being weaker is pointless because he's the MC and with that title comes this thing called, "potential". Naruto was weaker yet had the potential to rival Sasuke.

I don't know when you started watching Naruto but when it was on toonami in the 2000s no one was thinking about that. old memes and posts references this.

If Boruto was the son of Shino, then he isn't the MC. and in that case, pointless. Only a dumbass would greenlight a series with Shino's son as the MC in the same timeline as Sarada and Naruto's child.


Both characters are interesting, even more interesting when they interact. Both have impressive feats. Both sides have haters, but one side isn't making Sarada out to be a rival when she isn't.


That's the problem. It's why you wank Sarada and aoda talking about her being able to solo Boruto EZ PZ.
