Salamanders cannon wise are able to produce poison which was the main reason I was interested in them. The contract doesn't have that many summons tied to it that I know of but it has the potential for various abilities revolving around poison. The only salamander we've seen summoned was Ibuse who could produce poison mist, travel underground, and even swallow people whole. Beyond the cannon stuff some salamanders, like the Axolotol are able to regrow and regenerate from nearly any damage including brain damage. Which I haven't seen expanded upon but has the potential to be a cool ability and is something I've based some healing techs off of.

Noice of course you’re knowledgeable. So just explain these two summons to me. How would you use them? Would you even use them or you’re going a pure custom route?

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Ibuse) Summoning Technique: Ibuse
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: Ibuse is a venomous salamander and Hanzō's signature summon. It was large enough for its summoner to stand on top of its head, easily fighting from that advantageous position. Ibuse is able to use (Ninpou: Dokugiri) - Ninja Art: Poison Mist from its mouth, which is capable of making the entirety of a victim's body numb just moments after inhalation and may eventually prove fatal, although these effects can be counteracted with the correct antidote. Ibuse is capable of concealing itself and navigating underground, even if its under the effects of an A-Rank technique. It can then resurface beneath Hanzō's enemies and swallow them, trapping them in its mouth until they have succumbed to the fatal effects of the poison. Ibuse is very resilient, taking little to no damage from B-Rank physical techniques (Earth, Water, Taijutsu, etc).

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Kyodaina sanshō̄o) - Summoning Technique: Giant Salamanders
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20

Description: The user will do the normal summoning ritual and summon a generic Giant Salamander whose size can vary from a human sized salamander to about 15 times human size. These Salamanders vary in appearance and size and serve only as basic warriors, having only the normal characteristics of their kind. Despite not being poisonous, they can all bury underground and are very resistant to fire or high temperature damage (up to A-Rank), regardless of size. The bigger ones (more than 8 times the size of a human) will be able to endure B-Rank physical damage.

Note: Must have signed the Salamander Contract

Ibuse is rather plain, though the traveling underground even if it's under the effects of an A rank technique is cool. The basic Giant Salamanders lack the poisonous trait I would be using Salamanders for so I don't see myself using them much. I plan on going mainly custom and making some cool CST as I mentioned there's a lot of potential to build off of for the custom route. They have insane regeneration abilities with most being able to regrow limbs and tails, but species like the Axolotol can regrow even brain matter. A large amount of salamanders have poison specifically tetrodotxin which basically any salamander could use because it's produced by certain infecting or symbiotic bacteria.

(Yūdoku Gasu Kumo no Jutsu) - Poison Gas Cloud Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: Hanzo will give the command "smoke them" causing his summoned salamander to attack releasing a large cloud of paralysing poisonous gas from its mouth. The effects of the gas are almost instant , making the targets body feel numb after a few seconds. With the targets paralysed, Hanzo can attack his own leisure. Unlike the Poisonous Mist, this technique does no damage to the targets.

Note: Can only be used 3 times by Ibuse.

This is the only “salamander ninjutsu “. It’s a poisonous gas technique that I’m sure you can achieve in greater levels. This’ll be useless to you maybe lol but explain it plz.

It's basically the poison mist technique without damage. I don't see myself using Ibuse or this variation but basically it instantly creates paralysis to anyone poisoned along with a numbness. Due to it's gaseous nature it would be strong to lightning and weak to wind.
