Kishimoto stated that he wanted Sakura to be like a realistic girl. That's why she doesn't seem to fit into this manga, it's a manga about shinobi and she seems out of place. Sakura's probably just meant to pull in the female side of the fanbase.

All the ninja in this series have had mentors. Not only Sakura, there was nothing wrong with her asking for help from Tsunade, that was actually one of the few good things she did in pt1.

She stated the reason that she wanted to become a shinobi was to become strong and have the ability to defend herself early on in pt 1. She knew she was weak and useless, but she wanted to change that. It's a simplistic goal in comparison to the likes of Naruto and Sasuke, but then again Kishimoto stated that he wanted her to be a regular girl. Nothing about her is meant to be too complex when involving her back story and past. In an interview Kishimoto even stated when asked about what her backstory was, that she was a regular girl and there was no use on elaborating, because we are all normal people.

She liked Sasuke in pt1, as did nearly every other girl. Every girl in the K11 liked someone, it was annoying but you cannot hate Sakura alone for it because they were all like that. Atleast she pretty much dropped that side of her in pt2 and you nearly never see it now.

I think it;s kinda evidently from a standpoint of not bring born special and having tragic past, having to learn through life experiences and mistakes like a normal person. so she's powered up, she is still a normal girl and she worked her but off for it.

I fail to see where, if you care to point out the mistakes she has not learnt from, if you dare say sasuke i tell you to take a look at naruto. That whole complex is bonds related. Other than that i have not seen her go backwards in terms of things she has learnt from.

she doesn't really have 'all the mistakes' with sasuke to fix. I don't even know what in particular you are talking about. She just needs to have closure with him about team 7 previous reunion. Before than she has not done anything with sasuke directly since part 1.

As a character Sakura is well done. She grew from an air headed self absorbed brat (believe it or not little girls/boys around that age really can be inconsiderate b*tches...) into someone who really cares for her teammates...and not just Sasuke.
If it wasn't for Sakura pulling him to the ground, Naruto would have been bisected by Zabuza's sword when he threw it on his appearance,helped him around when he screwed up on missions,she kept him from falling to his death after Orochimaru sealed him...actually if you aren't bias you'd see that she treated him like an annoying little brother...

Comparing Her to One piece girls fight wise Op Girls are only good for fights with other girls and Nami fights are asspull central(Kalifa didn't blitz her to death) and Erza is another asspull master, If you read fairytail then you know what i'm talking about. Overall back-story, Sakura loses...plot involvement Sakura loses, but why do you think Hinata would be any different? If you say Byakugan, well Kishi could have easily connected Sakura to the uchiha/Senju if he wanted.

This thread is Just a veiled hate thread Lee is an inferior guy clone, Tenten is the butt of every joke...actually seems to be the only true original one, Neji was a smaller Hiashi, Kiba is the same as every other inuzuka, A is an inferior version of the third Raikage, Gaara is like his oldman, the Bijuu all have tailed beast balls, Naruto is a blend of his sensei's and didn't even come up with the idea of Rasenshurekin on his own, Sasuke Just had chidori variants (yes even Kirin) mixed with Uchiha stuff, Shino insects like his father, Ino Same, ect So whats this not original crap? a common thing in this Manga is that jutsu is passed down and improved...according to hashirama Sakura's super strength surpasses Tsunade(though don't know how he could know that)

This is really about how heavy handed Kishi has gotten with the NaruSaku stuff...and no, Hinata would have sucked as Main heroine Half the time she'd be unconscious from Naruto's presence, she'd stutter until you'd want to slap her and say B*tch spit it out already! And apparently she was a constant failure on every mission...so canon wise she might have died on Wave mission to get Naruto to unleash Kyuubi. And if it really isn't a hate thread, then why are you saying replace Sakura? Why not change her personality? Remove her Sasuke crush, Take out her no parents comment, Have her not hit Naruto the four times she did in part one(actually at least two of those was just a choke-hold to keep him from doing anything stupid), or Have her hit Sasuke and Naruto (whichever), and Give Inner Sakura Some Connection to Juubi.
