The only thing Sakura has going for her is strength. That's not enough to beat a byakugan user in a taijutsu fight. Even her ability to dodge really well won't last her very long since her movements can easily be read and countered by Hinata.

Why Sakuras movements would be easy to read by Hinata? Hinata isnt faster, and Byakugan is not Sharingan, it cant predict enemys movements. Sakura has strenght, Hinata has Jyuuken, they both can end each other with single hit. The battle would be won by girl who was simply more lucky.

Anyway, Sakura should win. Sure she only has strength BUT who taught her. Tsunade did and she taught her how she must read the opponent and always keep dodging no matter how tired she is. We saw this against Sasori. Sure, she had some help with Chiyo but not too much speed and technique wise.

First attack should win and with Sakura's dodging ability, she should land the first attack.

1. that goes both way's. if hinata touches sakura tenketsu, her chakra will be cut of and she won't have the strengt to punch hinata.

2. hinata can do attacks such as: gentle fist. u have to be fast to do such techniques. and almost al byakugan attacks are performered very fast so since hinata can do it, it means that she does has speed.

3. remember neji vs hinata? her chakra was cut off completly but she still kept fighting. that's already proof of her stamina.

4. databook is not completly trustible

Masashi Kishimoto made the databook himself, so I think we can trust his rankings. Next, I know Hinata has speed, but she isn't as fast as Sakura. And the main reason Hinata lasted so long in her fight against Neji was because Naruto was cheering her on and giving her hope, which thus gave her confidence. This is just my opinion though.

Totally agree. Whoever lands the first hit pretty much wins the fight, since Sakura wouldn't be able to heal if Hinata managed to hit her chakra points. Not sure if Hinata would be able to get back into the fight if Sakura delivers a strong punch. They might end up in a draw, like the Ino vs. Sakura match. Hinata's knocked unconscious, and Sakura's immobilized.

When was the last databook written? At her current state, Hinata's speed should be at least up to par with Sakura.

But in terms of will power, I lean towards Hinata. And I just like Hinata better. I don't condemn Sakura for being uncertain about saving Naruto or Sasuke first, because at least she was being honest with herself. Still, her frequent punching of Naruto really annoyed me. It might be considered funny, but it seems more like an abuse of her power and Naruto's soft-spot for her.

I wouldnt say so. Sakura couldnt bring herself to kill Sasuke, but even most powerful of shinobis can be weak when it comes to personal matters, like Hiruzen being unable to kill Orochimaru becuase of affection for his student. For me, Sakura proved that shes really strong willed during battle with Sasori, where Chiyo even encouraged her to flee, yet Sakura decided to stay and fight alongside her, against an opponent who killed strongest Kazekage in history, and could use the strongest weapon from Suna. Of course, Im not saying that Hinata is weak when it comes to willpower.

As I said, she was determined to do this alone, without putting everyone else in danger. What would happen if they engaded Sasuke in combat? Considering Sasukes mantal state, he wouldnt be playing with them, and just used his MS to kill them one by one. Susanoo arrow is so fast that Kaksahi didnt have chance to dodge it, he had to use MS. It would be OHKO for Sakura, Sai and Kiba. Only Lee with his gates would be able to last for a while.

i think i kinda get why she went alone now. at first i really was speechless. i really didn't understand her actions at all because u have to admit it was not a great plan. but now that i think about that she was trying to protect her friends from getting hurt, it kinda makes sense and makes me hate her a little les. you're probably right if sasuke uses susanoo from the start then its over for kiba,lee and sai.

i think it depends on the speed of the attacks. and i think gentle fist is faster then chakra punches. so the one who hits first wins this imo and i think hinata will be faster.
