hmmmm hinataxd you need to calm down fan boy, i have no doubt majority of narutoverse will pick hinata over sakura due to there differences in attitude, but IMO, i say sakura anyday

sakura's moves are too big and slow, whereas Hinat's are small and fast hinata is probably the worst match for sakura.

but that's what made hinata vs pain so special. she knew she could've died but still she went in to protect naruto. that's really admirable. and pffff as if sakura never got her ass handed.
that's not what i'm talking about. i admit sakura did a good job healing people during the pain attack. but that was not something special. a medical ninja is supposed to heal people. if she didn't heal people she would be fired as a ninja or something xD. hinata risked her life for naruto. that is special!

This seems more like a Sakura hate thread than someone interested in learning the outcome of the match.
On topic, I think Sakura would win. Sakura has strength, speed and stamina over Hinata. If Sakura lands a hit on Hinata, the match is pretty much over. Also, according the the databook, Sakura's speed and stamina is higher than Hinata's. Her speed and stamina are proven in the Sasori vs. Chiyo and Sakura fight. I don't remember seeing Hinata speed and stamina feats.

1. that goes both way's. if hinata touches sakura tenketsu, her chakra will be cut of and she won't have the strengt to punch hinata.
2. hinata can do attacks such as: gentle fist. u have to be fast to do such techniques. and almost al byakugan attacks are performered very fast so since hinata can do it, it means that she does has speed.
3. remember neji vs hinata? her chakra was cut off completly but she still kept fighting. that's already proof of her stamina.
4. databook is not completly trustible

she was standing behind his back with a kunai. she could've ended him easily, so you believing in her abilities is incorrect because she couldn't bring herself to hurt sasuke. in other words she failed! u claimed she wanted to take the burden of naruto really? then why did she put kiba and the others to sleep. if they were with her. she would've had a bigger chance of succeeding. that makes me think that she had a whole different plan. she wasn't going to kill him. even in the latest episode she said: who will i heal first when they fight? naruto or sasuke.

1. Most likely, she didnt know about current battle status. Hyuuga guy told her about Hinatas appearance after Naruto has gone berserk.
2. As Konoha med-nin, Sakura had to take care of her Hokage, who was in really bad shape then.
As for the thread, one think is obvious - it wouldnt last long. But the winner isnt clear, the battle would be won by girl who was more lucky.
Seeing how Sarutobi (full grown shinobi in his fifties, the Hokage) couldnt bring himself to kill Orochimaru when he was abondoning the village (even thought Orochimaru already killed a lot of Konohas shinobi and even two ANBU on Hiruzen eyes), I see nothing strange that in the end Sakura couldnt bring herself to kill Sasuke.
Of course, she wanted to do just that. But thinking that you will be able to do something doesnt mean you will be able to do it in reality.
Becuase she didnt want to risk lives of someone else.

You do realise that only happened in anime, not in manga? In other words, that scene is not canonical. Its like discussing about fan animations.
