Sakura is SO selfish!

When she told Naruto she loved him...I think Naruto was telling the truth...Sakura really didn't love him....She would of had a fit if Sasuke died..even though he left...But it wouldn't be as bad if Naruto died...If Naruto died..it would have been a one day depression staged...if it was Sasuke....SUICIDE

I think she was telling the truth. Like I said, it has been heavily hinted that she does have feelings for him and they've been developing since they met after the time skip. Naruto never said she didn't love him. He said she was lying to herself because she said she was completely over Sasuke. That's what made him say that. For her to suddenly say she was over him was hard to believe. But how does he know how she feels about him? He isn't inside her head. He doesn't know much about women to begin with. Sakura could have very well been telling the truth when she said she loved him. We don't know for sure. But I think from the implications, mainly from Sai, she's been falling pretty hard for him all this time.


Back to the thread. All the people who agree with it are certainly entitled to their opinions, but they're unbelievably stupid. I say that because Sakura has proven all this time that she is far from selfish. She is a medical ninja. Sworn to heal and aid in rehabilitation of the sick and wounded. Nobody forced her to take on such a task. Nobody. She did it out of sheer will and desire to protect those around her. More to the point, Sasuke almost killed her twice because she was going out of her way for Naruto. When people go out of their way to help relieve your burdens, that is called being selfless. That's what the board should read. Sakura is SO selfless.

Selfless- Concerned more with the needs and wishes of others than with one's own; unselfish

Who in this series fits the opposite of that definition? Who only thinks about their own fantasies and desires to be with someone? I'm sure you can think of someone.

When did she ever say she hates herself? She's stepping back and letting Naruto and Sasuke resolve their conflict. A detail you conveniently want to ignore.

If you're hoping for her death, you'll be hoping until the end of time. She's too important to the series, and Naruto himself for Kishimoto to just let her die. If he didn't kill off Tenten or Hinata by now, why would he kill her? Especially with all the close calls she's had already. She will continually ease her way away from death, and the fact that she's a medical ninja only furthers that strive.

Until we see this development (her and Naruto)(copyright by Kishimoto himself), she's not going anywhere.

I wouldn't say sucks. Just unbelievably transparent and completely overrated..

Well, I can't honestly say that I like her, but I don't hate her. You definitely have a point about her being selfish, though. During the end of the first series (minus all of the fillers), she literally whined and cried for Naruto to bring Sasuke back in front of everyone, not giving two sh!ts about Naruto's feelings about the matter. She forced that burden onto him, all for a fake romance she thought she had with someone she didn't know at all. Naruto gave up everything to bring back Sasuke for her, he suffered so much pain, and after all of that....she changes her mind. She should of thought and tried to make predictions about what would of happened before she started whining to Naruto. But luckily in the end Naruto says that he wants Sasuke back for himself.

She's also a hypocrite. I remember in one of the earlier episodes (around 30, during the second chuunin exam in the Forest of Death) she told Sasuke to stop standing around and do something instead of being a coward... Now just how hilarious is that? What the crap has she even did?! She had absolutely no room to talk, especially when a freakin' giant snake was coming after them! I'd be scared sh!tless, too! He also saved her life from Orochimaru. Some freakin' gratitude. He had to stab himself to do that, too.

I didn't really make all of my points across, but if I did, then believe me, this post would be much longer. But I assume that everyone knows what I'm talking about, so I needn't explain further. I just got two of the minor ones out of the way... Sorry for my rambling. I got carried away, xD
