Do you still like the person you did when you were 12? This person also being someone you haven't seen in a few years and when you do see them, they push you down a flight of stairs or something.
Btw, she was going to tell Naruto, which is why she went to him, but couldn't bring herself to do it. Did you miss when she said "Leave it to me" to everyone?

Yes actually I'm married to the person that I liked when I was twelve. But anyway I'm quite sure that even though he tried to kill her she still has feelings for him. And she has liked Sasuke way longer than the age of twelve. She was cheering him on even during the academy days when they were in class.

When she said "Leave it to me" she was coming up with a plan to keep Naruto occupied, she never intended to tell Naruto the truth about hunting Sasuke down.

I was unsure about NaruSaku as well (though I always wanted it to happen :p) But what persuaded me was Kushina's story and her last moments with Naruto(Sakura also fits the woman that Kushina told naruto to be with (in her dying words). Kushina's development is very similar to Sakura's as posted by Darkakatsuki on page 4. Also I believe that her confession was used to develop her character and she became less shallow after that and appreciates Naruto much more which I believe will make Naruto end up with Sakura. Back to the topic, I don't believe Sakura is a ***** because she has had a different character development than other characters (I don't see people calling Kushina a ***** by the way Kushina is a favorite character of mine as well :p) Another thing that has to be taken into consideration when people mention Hinata defending him against Pain was more brave that Sakura fighting Sasori with Chiyo, is that Naruto wanted NO ONE to distract him as he told Lady Tsunade. Yet Hinata in blind love for Naruto went onto the battlefield and only made Naruto more distraught and start to transform. And when people say she is brave as she fought Pain even though she knew she was going to lose, she defied orders by Naruto and made the situation worse. I truly believe that Sakura has just had a slow tranformation but will soon become likable again (as many hated the confession) once becomes trustworthy again.

Then that is great for you. But for most people, they get over the people they liked when they were 12. It's only a childhood crush. 12 year olds don't know anything about true love. At 16, or 17 however old they are, they're better able to tell what's what. Sakura probably does still like Sasuke, but she admitted she was wrong and didn't really know him. If she didn't really know him and only liked him for his cool appearance, then was that love?
Moreover, Sasuke doesn't like her. There can be nothing to come from them because he's likely to never return to the Leaf.

Sakura is a normal female people.

She is in love with the "cool" "bad" boy in the story. Every good girl like a bad boy. Every good girl also likes the popular guy, which Sauske was in school when they met.
She also lied (the love thing) to try and get her way. The story obviously showed that Sakura was in love with Sauske. So are you people trying to say at that very moment she simutaniously fell out of love with him and in love with Naruto...? She gave him:

1. Fake smiles.
2. Fake Hug.
3. BS explanation of why she is now in love with him. It was BS because the only reasoning she gave mainly dealt with the fact that Sauske is now a criminal. WTF does that got to do with Naruto.

Oh, and the big difference between Hinata and Sakura? When Sakura fought "for a good cause"... it was pretty selfish. She was trying to kill Sauske by herself to PROVE TO HERSELF and everyone else for that matter that she isnt weak. She was not protecting Naruto as much as she was trying to elate herself! And when she had the opportunity to actually try and kill him... she FROZE. Why? Because her feelings for him immediatly showed when she came face to face with him yet again.

When Hinata sacraficed herself for naruto... she wasnt compelled to do it until she saw him in IMMEDIATE Danger. He looked like he was about to get killed at that moment. His life was on the line and that is the only reason she tried to help... because she loved him.

Agreed, exactly what I was saying, about her learning from her mistakes throughout the manga, and soon will be of great help to Naruto and next time will truly confess her love.

I believe that the confession was only to relieve Naruto's pain (though it was counter-productive) I could argue that Sai is the worst character as he told Sakura of this pain Naruto was facing, and she tried to HELP.

Now that she has learned from that experience, she will be sure to not lie like that, as she has learned lots about Naruto's character and how voluntarily takes this burden of pain on himself, and his strong tie to his ninja way. Hinata just doesn't seem to understand the situation, and blindly just hopes the best for Naruto, or blindly tries to defend him, only aggravating the situation.

Edit: She froze when she could kill him because she was flooded with thoughts of all their childhood memories along with Naruto and how they attempted to rescue him. Though Naruto talks about both him and Sasuke dying in a all out 1v1 fight, I believe Naruto would have froze as well in that situation, even though he matured from the pain fight.

I read some of the comments and really thought to myself. At first i honestly hated sakura for being an obessesive bitch and always hurting Naruto. But sometimes naruto asked for it. Well anyway my point is as Naruto went to Naruto Shippuden sakura has gained alot of knowledge and became much stronger than she was before. Yea, she still has feelings for sasuke but that doesnt mean that she wont kill him in order to keep those she "acually" loves safe. Sakura knew that Hinata loved naruto, and she would never do something to hurt her. When hinata was beat by pain/pein sakura told the rest of them that hinata has always loved naruto when sakura wasnt anywhere nearby to acually hear it. That is also another sign that sakura honestly does care about naruto hinata. So its not a fact that sakura's a bitch or anything but she acually only cares about that saftey of Naruto and Konaha. She might act like a bitch to him so he notices a certain someone else... i dont really know. But sakura isnt so bad, if where gonna hate on someone lets hate on sasuke.

Sakura is selfish but that's only sometimes... at least she isn't the same bit** who said naruto is all alone and doesn't have parents... That was just mean and pure heartless and even Sasuke agreed back then. That's one of the main reasons I like hinato more than Sakura... it's because Hinato knew what Naruto was going through and unlike Sakura, Hinata admired naruto.

I believe Hinato should be better off with Naruto because of their similarities.. Hinato and Naruto both risk their lives for the person they love and I am not just talking about Naruto saving Sakura so many times...

At least Hinato tried to understand Naruto in the first place, you could tell everybody hated him and Hinato was the only one who didn't and started to like naruto for who he was.

People keep saying Sakura this and Sakura that but Hinata is a lot nicer and she shows empathy

Like I said earlier, and what you stated, Sakura was a ***** back then but now she has matured a lot. I would even state that now she is much more mature than Hinata and is able to handle a situation much better than Hinata. It's not that I don't like Hinata, but I hate how people keep calling her a ***** lol. I'm excited how both Hinata and Sakura will act when Konoha 11 arrive on Naruto's battlefield!

Sorry i'll have to diagree with you. Hinata would handle a situation way better. Sakura just gets waay to emotional. Like that time she tryed to kill sasuke, She started to cry. Sakura is okay but i like Hinata better. And hinata can pick herself up.

I always disliked sakura in naruto part 1, but when shippuden came out i was like ok maybe she isnt so bad. She started to become more useful and was nicer to naruto, and I started actually thinking that her and naruto should be together at the end. Then she did that fake I love you crap. I dont care what she does anymore I officially hope Naruto and Hinata get together. Sakura always thought Naruto didnt deserve her and that she loved Sasuke, but it is Sakura that dosent deserve Naruto.

She cried because she remembered all the good memories. I believe after that incident she is becoming more and more aware of Naruto's determination and drive to bring Sasuke back, and I believe next time they face off, Sakura will be a big part of the battle.

I believe that the confession was used to show that Sakura is still maturing and after that incident she learns a lot about Naruto's character and is becoming more a true friend. Right now, people don't trust her, but after she becomes more understanding of things around her, people will appreciate her more.

I disagree with you there. Sakura has certainly shown her maturity since the beginning of Shippuden. She took on Tsunade's intense training and prospered well while showing her amazing talent. She handled Sasori and defeated the Kazekage puppet near effortlessly. She took over as head of the hospital during Konoha's destruction and executed that role flawlessly. She stood up to Pain's summon to save a little girl she didn't know without batting an eyelash and then healed her. She handled herself fairly well against Zetsu's clone, misleading him and defeating him in mere seconds. She is mature, but when she cries it shows she is also just as vulnerable as Naruto because he cries near as much as she does. In battle, she is more than mature and ready to handle the situation. When it comes to her fractured relationships, it is understandable for her to cry when she does.

she will have to do something pretty special for people (and me) to apreciate and respect her more after that, IMO

When she told Naruto she loved him...I think Naruto was telling the truth...Sakura really didn't love him....She would of had a fit if Sasuke died..even though he left...But it wouldn't be as bad if Naruto died...If Naruto died..it would have been a one day depression staged...if it was Sasuke....SUICIDE
