Naturally. She was the reason Neji committed suicide which caused Naruto to be distressed after all. Plus, she was literally standing right next to Naruto whereas everyone else was near, but a little farther off. It was the least she could do.

Take away Naruto, Hinata has no motivation.
For Sakura, take away Naruto, and she still has motivation. Whether that be for Tsunade, Team 7 in general, or to get stronger just for her own benefit.

This really isn't a matter of opinion to be honest. Hinata's character can be good in her own way too, but in terms of any type of strength, she's below many characters, including Sakura.

I think that the Byakugou technique was given to sakura "for granted" just so that team 7 is balanced. It wasn't ever given to her. Sakura isn't Naruto or Sasuke. She actually had to work to activate that power, no one gave her a handout. She attained it because she trained with Tsunade in order to be of more use to Team 7/

Hinata, Ino, and TenTen don't deserve such a powerup. Mainly because they haven't trained enough, nor have they cared to train that amount. Boys are more important to them than getting stronger. It's pathetic.

Sakura is kage material and i will tell you why

1.She is a slug sage

It grants her the ability to wriggle on flat surfaces and be all slug like

2.She can hit things really,really hard.

3.When madara attacked her she forgot to breathe and didn't continue to breathe for quite some time this leads me to believe she could easily defeat kisame in his water dome or while in the ocean as breathing would be a non issue for her.

-Eh, not really. He's her comrade after all.
-Everyone bar Naruto and Itachi call Sasuke "Sasuke-kun". Kun is a term used to refer to an individual with respect, one that you aren't close enough to refer casually to.
-I don't recall her chanting anything.
-Hinata saying that Naruto's hand is big, nice, and warm isn't emotional control. It just shows she cares more about her crush and her moment than her cousin who died protecting her and was lying in a bloody heap on the dirty ground.
-Sakura wouldn't beg Hinata for training. She doesn't want to revert to her pt1 self.
