All of Shino's clones gets soloed by a punch to the ground. He isn't touching Sakura, therefore he won't be able to use his giant bugs on her. Not to mention he has no feats in using it with his clones when he can barely control them while they are in his real body.

This logic is flawed. Other characters have alrady used boss summons against human sized targets.

if you would be in Sakura's place, what would you do? Would you hold back one of your trump cards and lose the battle?
