There is no doubt in my mind Itachi would win! The only reason he would lose is if he was doing it for the greater good. In which, he would have already thought things through. Itachi is a genius and Naruto is a dunce. Even in sage mode he stands no chance. Naruto could never give up and show his determination, but Itachi would surely kill him in the end, if needed.

itachi can get him in genjutsu in this manner as well. not to mention clones are not a deciding factor by any means in SM they are helpful but won't win him a battle they can be destroyed easily also shown by itachi not even looking back at them and killing them.

naruto can't afford to look at his eyes cos tsukiyomi would end him, he does not have the speed to also avoid amaterasu and not to mention there are non-eye contact genjutsu that can get him also. naruto's chances against itachi are pretty low.

yeah because Naruto's powers are too much focused on physical attacks, which is almost useless against Genjutsu. I see if he had Raikages speed, in sage mode, but he dosen't, so he wont be dodging Amaterasu either. Yeah SM naruto chance are kinda low. Kyubbi naruto have a better chance

they are useful but won't beat itachi, genjutsu like the one he uses with the crow can catch him in genjutsu, naruto can come up with plans but what can he do even if he almost hits him(unlikely seeing itachi's speed) he can use sussano to block it and take out the clones and naruto.

Naruto is basically vulnerable to
1. tsukiyomi
2. genjutsu eye contact and non eye contact(finger)
3. amaterasu
And sussano can be used for defense and can crush the clones as well. naruto in Sm has low chances against itachi not to mention he is also smarter and more tactical giving him an edge in that field also.

It depends.

The way Naruto tries to battle Itachi is by not looking at his eyes and he doesn't have KM, so speed will not go his way. I'd say Itachi with a little bit of a struggle. Genjutsu being Naruto worst problem as of now.

By no means like so many do I think Itachi is some sort of unbeatable God like so many idiots however I do think Naruto has an extreme weakness to genjutus that we have not seen him make much of an advancement against. Until him and that fox become friends (like bee and 8 tail) EVERYONE that has Genjutsu will beat him even with all that power he has.

Sage mode has been in two fights. Jiraiya vs pein and naruto vs pein and it both the users got defeated. Demon mode is what saved naruto, otherwise he was captured.

Sage mode is overrated, it still hasnt won a fight yet.

Itachi is the clear winner hear

Naruto used sage mode to beat the 3rd Raikage...
