World War 3 will happen eventually. Humanity never learns...

World War isn't possible in this era, it would have to come to an stalemate very quickly.

And with The Budapest Memorandum hanging over some heads, Britain can't afford to get into war and so, we look to words.

Let's have a good war everyone, no nuclear weapons, and let's try to stay the Hell out of America land.

And that's exactly why it can't happen. Governments have been lying to others about the amount of nuclear warheads for a long time, keeping secret stock; this is what ties most of the big countries into a sort of impasse that means war cannot go ahead, along with many other pacts.

Even if war could take place, nuclear weapons would be one of the first weapons to turn to on all sides and the consequences will make WW1 and WW2 look like child's play.

But it's not only nuclear weaponry any more; VX gas and the like.

Ukraine isn't that big of an ally of the US

You do realize that Ukraine gave up their Nuclear arms for the protection from NATO ? If NATO does not abide by that deal, it not only gives Russia more influence but it gives no reason for other countries to trust NATO, thus leading to an increase of Nuclear Weapons.

Putin in a metaphorical sense, just gave NATO and US a check. Now it's on them to either sacrifice a pawn (Ukraine) and back off, or to attack.

I am scared that World War 3 will be the total destruction not just for humanity but for our whole planet. We carry a responsibility towards other creatures and ourselves, I clearly hope it never takes place, or the life as we know it will cease to exist.

NATO (much like the UN) is basically US forces . . . US isn't/shouldn't get involved in other ppl's problems
