Last turn of affliction. 4/4
Isabella spoke to Susabi, noting his appearance as Madara spoke to Mirabelle. Madara noticed how Isabella pointedly ignored him, annoying him in the process. He didn't know why she was fixated with Susabi anyway when they were the ones who knew one another. His annoyances with her raising by the second as she flirted with Susabi, his anger subsided when Isabella spoke to him, the red haired siren's voice commanding his attention. She mentioned Nefarian's name, causing Madara to frown slightly. How did she learn his name? Was she listening? Did Mirabelle say anything? Susabi also spoke up at the mention of Nefarian's name, questioning if that was the name of the one who did that to her. Madara's brow burrowed as he watched her turn dramatically, the fiery red hair whipping through the air as scents of perfume and fresh shrooms filled the air.
Isabella mentioned the Gods, something that caught Madara's attention even in his gaze of her. She had reiterated the same stance he spoke to Susabi before; wanting to not be in the middle of their games. As Mirabelle spoke to Susabi, Madara took a step closer to Isabella as he spoke to her.
"I agree, Bella. Things are not the same since the last time we were partners. This world carries many differences and secrets our time didn't have. These Gods are rumored to hold infinite powers and I don't plan on being their puppets. There's definitely something coming, something darker... I'm seeking information on these gods themselves and this Fallen Angel and vision of a meteor that a kunoichi from my village mentioned. Not that she was anyone important, of course," Madara added hastily, not wanting to send the wrong message as he took a step back nervously. "Just a random ninja I only saw once."
As he spoke to Isabella with her back to him, he was finally able to actually use more of his senses without looking into her face. As he focused, his chakra sensory picked up on several more people nearby as well as one seemingly eavesdropping on them. Most surprisingly, however, was the Relic Core he sensed near him. In fact, it was directly in front of him.
"Isabella....where did you get that Core? It houses unimaginable power and can transform to fit your will. " As he spoke, he raised his arm to reveal his own weapon. "This is what my Core evolved into. I can help you unlock yours. I can help you evolve, Isabella. Join me and we can find a way to change and save this world. Join me and we can help lead and protect these people...together."
Madara didn't know exactly why he was offering her a spot in his Akatsuki, perhaps it was because he named it after their old group and nostalgia was effecting him. Perhaps it was more.
Mission End
Rage was starting to build up in Isabella as soon as Madara kept on wandering about a random drone kunoichi that he had met and chose to disclose that information right now. Was he completely clueless or just... No... Isabella caught herself. If she was going to utilize this new eyes and face more of the Void-touched that seemed to rise up from the shadows of the world, she would need to be stronger mentally. She had loads of experience messing with the mind, but these effects were stronger. They weren't Hypnosis, or Paralysis, nor Spiritual Damage, they were direct afflictions of the psyche. Another realm to be explored, but not before gaining certainty of herself, something that she had long developed with the likes of Surreal Palm and it's train on reality afflicting conditions.
Isabella signed a single handseal, and a shower of feathers washed away her pain and distress, coating her with a sense of calm. Her own chakra, washing her own mind, giving her a sense of control over her own mind. The Illusion was irrelevant, for she didn't have any physical wound to heal, but the sense of calm and strength that came from the after-effects would serve her well, and the feeling of her own chakra, using a Genjutsu, would calm her own mind and focus her shattered psyche.
( Genjutsu: Seidou Shiraha no Hato ) Illusion Technique: The Sanctuary of the Feathery Dove
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After 3 handseals, the user is able to cast a genjutsu either on her/himself or on an opponent. The genjutsu pertains as the removal of harm and pain, giving a false sense of security, where there is none, by reattaching severed limbs or healing up wounds and burns or merely anesthetizing the opponent from pain. The illusion comes with a feeling as if the user has been coated by a soft bubble, like a feathery cushion, while seeing missing limbs being reattached, or wounds healing up or poisons being removed from the organism. The illusion makes it so that anything posterior to the initial cast of the genjutsu simple disappears or is bounced off from the skin, instead of healing, further adding to the false notion of security.
While it could be use to sustain wounds that do not put someone in immediate danger, being solely nuisances, the genjutsu could also cover up potentially fatal and paralyzing injuries, making it's target careless and self-harmful. The genjutsu latches strongly to the opponent's mind, allowing the user to combine it with a second genjutsu, making the second genjutsu strong against physical pain releases, however major pain stimuli ( very deep cuts, strong burns, etc. ) will still break it.
*Lasts 3 turns max*
*Can only be used 2 times*
*If used with a painful second genjutsu, there will be no pain involved.*
*Can be used against opponent's genjutsu as a means to counter it's effect, up to the rank of the technique*
*Genjutsu specialists or doujutsu users can cast against 1 rank higher*
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A

Isabella knew, deep down, that Madara and her were twin souls. She always knew they would think alike, and they pretty much always had. Even his betrayal was motivated by an ideology they both shared: Being the best. They would always try to one up eachother, but there would be hell to pay if someone were to stand in their way.
When Madara mentioned the core, she sniggered. Looking at Madara's staff, she voiced:
Of course... you can sense the cores. And I'm sure that staff is nothing more than a whip and shackles to all the other cores. I'm not sure why this core was given to me, but the events that led to its discovery were provoked by one of the gods. Looking at your staff, I'm guessing you met one of them as well, though your journey is far more advanced.
There was a lot that she wanted to ask, especially if her core and Madara's were connected.
You should know, better than anyone else, that while I might offer my allegiance, I do not offer my subjugation. Especially to one that stole everything from me. But these new eyes have seen something, that maybe not even you're aware of. These eyes can peer into the Void.
She paused.
I can share what I saw, if you share how you obtained your core, and turned it into the weapon that you wield. The same goes to you, Hyuga. If you want to know more about these eyes, and why all these drones have gathered here, you should be willing to share some information in return. Are you also a core holder, are you working for Madara?
