I strongly suggest all MS users read through the techniques with detail and time. Plenty of things were changed and introduced and some were simply defined and revamped all together. Also note that now, MS users need to activate their ms and it can only be activated for a limited time. So be sure to read the updated sharingan rules as well.

Note that the update was severe in all aspects of both Doujutsu. Its recommended that all Doujutsu users read through the rules carefully and thoroughly as it has become quite different to use both Doujutsu. Ao, for example, will always need to spend a move to active his byakugan. Not only that but sharingan users will only be able to do it without spending a move once they get 3T and hold if for a certain period of time. Custom MS bios were also introduced into the rules to become more in tune to the RP itself. The abilities were also explained with more detail and overall the KGs were made into becoming more in tune to their canon uses and restrictions but also to make them more reasonable at the same time in comparison to our own RP. One of these issues was the copying and predicting nature of the sharingan.

Also, I have 58 notifications to check so please, for the next one or two days try not to bombard me with questions which I'm sure will eventually come.

(Doujutsu: Kopī no Jutsu) - Eye Technique: Copy Technique

Description: After gaining the 3 Tomoe Sharingan, the user gains the ability to copy the technique the enemy is using and use it as his own. The user will first need to witness the technique completely to memorize all aspects of it, including the opponents chakra flow and focus upon using it as well as the hand seals. A limitation of the technique is the inability to mimic and copy KG techniques, fuuinjutsu, kinjutsu, genjutsu, medical ninjutsu or hidden clan/bio techniques.
Note: User needs to have 3 Tomoe active
Note: Can only be done 2 times per battle on techniques that have hand seals
Note: Copied technique can only be used in the match its witnessed and only once
Note: User needs to be capable of performing the technique himself, meaning he needs to have the correct chakra natures, rank, abilities, etc to use the technique. This is also valid for elemental specialties, where the user might be unable to copy a technique by only one handseal unless he has the same specialty as the enemy.

With the hospital now active and working, you are required to, upon injury on official fights in the battle arena, to visit the Hospital for treatment once the battle finishes. This is, off course, assuming you're left alive. This was added to the battle arena rules.

Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is a simple Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an animal (or animals). With the target frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. It can only be used against animal (summons or not) and works by forcefully using your chakra to restrain the summon physically by holding it in place. It can, however, be broken by outside means or brute force, making it less effective against bigger summons like boss summons or similar.
Note: lasts only as long as the user is focusing on the target to sustain it.

Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.

A suggestion was made many times before but it has now come to fruition. You can now edit your posts in

. This means your cj threads can be kept up to date without needing to make a new one every time something is added.

However, this came with a down side that will not please everyone. I closed all current threads. Reason is simple: people would abuse this system and we need a benchmark for stuff that might have been allowed before the rules of teaching were added. So, this means that everyone will need to, in time create one new CJ thread, your last. That you will be able to edit indefinitely.

This is a privilege that many have requested and I hope that a few won't be the cause of returning it all to how it was. So please, don't forget to abide by the rules. Obviously, if something isn't in your current cj thread by now, it can't be added in this new one without proof of training in it. Thus why the other threads were closed. So a benchmark of your original cjs could be established.

In time, the old ones will be archived. But only in time, so you have time to create your new ones.

±± Custom Jutsu Users Notice V2 ±±

Ok, because what I was predicting happened and people abused this perk by opening their closed threads and editing them even when it was said that it was not to be done, instead of ruining it for everyone, I just spent 1 hour moving 286 custom jutsu threads that were old or obsolete, from inactive members or adulterated by their owners to the hidden section where they are stored.

If you now have no Custom Jutsu thread, I suggest you make one as you can't use customs without a valid custom jutsu thread. If you wish and need to, contact an RP mod to retrieve your archived threads. Upon completing your new thread, link the old ones to a mod so they can be archived once more.

On a side note, do not open a thread closed by a moderator. Being a premium member or not doesn't grant you that right. A moderator's action is above your own will so respect it. Also, we've been detecting that members have been editing their posts once a Moderator has checked/edited them. This has been happening in custom submission threads and in bios. It is strictly against the rules and doing so might earn you infractions or worse punishments. Abide by the rules and obey the actions of the staff.

Some notifications:

✖ Stop sending me requests about permissions for CM, Kinjutsu, Fuuinjutsu, Kaito's taijutsu etc. It's incredibly depressing when I wake up and see that half of my notifications are about people requesting one thing or another. There's a lot of stuff that needs reorganization and thus those permissions are really not my main concern right now, so by default the answer is 'no', so stop sending them please for the moment and also leave all the "my sensei said I deserve it and blalblabla" as I had quite a few people who did that. It's not like you don't have enough abilities to knock yourself out. Also for regular permissions like for a custom sensor bio you shouldn't even need to ask me for permission. There are enough other RP mods who can give it.

Just to state the obvious I will completely ignore any permission request for the moment.

✖ Stop asking me basic stuff about how you use a jutsu please. There are people who ask me stuff like if I use this jutsu and the opponent that jutsu, who wins? Seriously people that's the job of senseis, they have to explain such stuff to you. Their responsibilities are not limited to just making threads for you to train in, replying to these type of questions is also one of their tasks. Besides them you also got all the other RP mods. So please stop sending me such messages unless there is really no other choice as a large chunk of my VMs got left unanswered because people keep sending me permission requests and this type of questions. I don't mind chatting or having discussions, but don't waste my time with stuff that other people also can solve.

✖ I'm very well aware of the situations in the RP. By now I had several people pointing everything out to me and even two who applied for modship. The thought is appreciated, but I know very well where there are problems. However those can't be solved just like that. This entire situation of me becoming an admin happened very sudden, there wasn't really much room for preparation and it's not like I have a manual where everything is listed.

Mods in the Freezer: Emperor, Riku.., Jinbei and Alucard
(can't currently be very active due to real life issues or other stuff, so the above is based on them not being active. If they are, so much the better.)

✖ Roku is now responsible for everything related to Sage Missions, so every SM request that was sent to Nexus, but never got really started, is now voided. So if you sent one to Nexus, you now will need to sent a new one to Roku. Alternatively you can sent one to me if there are special circumstances, but normally you should send them to Roku.

✖ Regarding SM there is also an additional requirement now outside 10k posts: you need to have finished your training in the 5 basic elements, basic ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu. This is to avoid people just spamming their way up to Sage and waste Roku's time while having insufficient RP experience.

✖ All the village tournaments are on hold. If there are still tournaments running, those can be finished however no new tournaments can be started and the reason for that is very simple: just like I have been bombarded with permission requests and sage missions I received several requests about giving out prizes for tournaments and my conclusion was it's a chaotic mess and that people just use these tournaments to get abilities very fast. One tournament is finished and instantly another one starts. I see people who organize a tournament, are judge in it, then even participate in it and finally even win =/ I see villages who didn't receive any new members for a few months holding a contest between those exact same members from the last contest and that list just keeps going and going. As long as there hasn't been made a tournament format that ALL villages follow (potential sage mission hint hint), no new tournaments will be held as people are exploiting this chaotic mess. Also as long as that hasn't been done, the next step can't be taken either.

✖ I know about the bio's, I know more about those than anyone else on NB, however I have some technical issues and couldn't check them recently. It should be solved soon. The only people who actually suffer under that are people who haven't got a bio yet. Everyone who already has a bio can still RP and shouldn't really be bothered by it. I have said it a thousand times but whether your bio is now on the first or last page, it matters squat.

After talking to Caliburn about some changes to be done to the custom system, we decided that

is now partially revoked. The new rule of Custom Jutsu Trading is as follows:

-You can teach each of your customs to a total of 6 members.

-You need to teach the custom in a thread, through a normal roleplay way. You are required to explain the limits and applications of your technique to avoid abuses and misuses. All misuses of custom techniques fall upon the owner and not the user, meaning that the result of misused or better put abused techniques may be the revision of the custom itself. So be sure to explain what one needs to know to use your custom correctly.

-In your personal custom jutsu thread you need to put, next to the customs your learned, the link to the thread in which you were taught the custom.

-Below each of your customs you need to have the list of the 6 people to whom you taught your custom to, with the link to the corresponding training threads.

PS- This simply means that non senseis can teach S-Rank and Forbidden rank techniques. You can now basically teach any technique you possessed, regardless its rank or your title.

In practice nothing actually changes, only that it doesn't count towards the 35 cj limit anymore. Any techs made for a specific weapon still count towards the 35 CJ limit.

I'll be closing the threads for checking today in about....7 hours, give or take. So if you have changes to do to your submissions, do them now. Threads will open when they are fully checked.

Also I'll take this chance to say that I won't be checking things in order. I'll be clearing the easier submissions first (like contracts, easy declines, etc) at random before starting on the harder ones. So if you see that I checked a submission after yours and yours is unchecked, don't worry or find it strange. Its just to make it easier and faster on my end.

rules have been updated. Overall the basic rules are still the same, only difference is that you need to be a sannin and not a kage anymore for 5 hearts. You can now start ripping out hearts of other RPers if you have a Kakuzu bio, though logically it's restricted. Only certain elemental KG hearts can be stolen, which are listed in the rules. It's possible that in the future Scorch and Blast will be added depending on the info we still might get from Pakura and Gari. The other elemental KG that are not listed in the rules are not allowed to be stolen.
