As Onoki-sama has finished up with his instructions, Tenten molds a vast amount of earthen chakra, promptly redirecting it troughout her legs and hands; she crouches down connecting both of her palms with the ground. A thick and solid earth dome is made around Tenten, a small window instantly forms and Tenten's hands and head emerge trough it, she leans trough the made window, giving a short insight of the learnt technique to ojisan;

As you said, it's weak to B+ wind, it can sustain even bigger ranked suiton attacks since earth absorbs water, it can somewhat defend from lower katon untill it starts to melt out/crumble, and it is intensively weak to raiton techniques of any rank. Also it's weak to stronger doton techs and users which can phase trough the dome with usage of earth chakra. I like this jutsu cuz it's usable in so many different situations, for example, a close up short ranged combat, If I manage to bind my opponent somehow, I can entrap him in the dome with me afterwards, escape trough means of Mogarakure no jutsu, than protrude him with countless pillars within the dome. I got no further questions about this tech, but do correct me or tell me If I have missed something sensei.

The earthen dome disperses, Tenten takes a few steps forward, slamming her palms on the ground again, now a 1/4 of the dome emerges infront of her, immediatly dispersing afterwards; she turns to Onoki-sama whom was on her right again;

I would counter this def with attacks from below, above, sides (slamming the opponent with 2 rock formations) or a quick switcharoo to the back of the opponent, for example with one of Hozuki's Hydrification jutsu: Torrent. The same usuall elemental pros and cons stand.

After hearing up the last of Onoki-sama's instructions, Tenten molds up a respectable amount of earthen chakra; redirecting the entirety of it up trough her mouth, the very next moment she literally spits out a stone clone of her self, which instantly afterwards livens up and starts running towards the cave that sensei mentioned.

While the bunshin is going towards the cave, Tenten gives a short insight of the performed technique;

Yuuuck! Well most definetly, the main disadvantage of this tech is it's aftertaste, the taste that it leaves in the mouth! Yuck, yuck yuck!!!
I think it's absolutely awesome that it can use up to C doton, and defend up to B tai; I have some ideas of combining it with the raiton bunshin as a distraction combo vs someone. The usuall elemental pros and cons apply.

As the bunshin is on the cave's entrance, the real Tenten is proceeding behind it; coming up-to mid-range of the cave; the bunshin enters, while the real Tenten crouches down, connecting both of her palms with the ground; she releases a vast amount of doton chakra to the soil; the chakra is seen traveling towards the cave in insane speed, the line of ground between real Tenten and the cave appears as if breathing; the moment it reaches the cave; it manifestes itself inside the cave as 4 huge, wide and thick earthen spikes protruding from the cave's celling and 3 different sides towards Tenten's bunshin, pushing her deeper into the cave in her effort to avoid it;

Instantly after delivering the pillars Tenten quickly waves 2 handseals, Boar and Ox, placing her palms on the ground again; momentarily afterwards a notable earthquake is felt as the entirety of the area surrounding the cave and the cave itself spirals down as the loud crumbling sfx is heard; the bunshin and the rocky cave are literally sucked into the ground with this last technique;

As the cave is getting obliterated and vanishing away, Tenten is coughing up the insight of the last two jutsus; barely having the strength to speak anymore;

The first technique is a great tech to be combined with other earthen techniques, or perhaps with the raiton binding ones such as the binding pillars, obviously it's best to use it in confined spaces; it is a great combo with the last technique as a distraction before obliterating the opponent and taking away the ground beneath him. Main disadvantage is that it requires handseals, and it seems to be alot terrain dependable; i mean it is awesome when used near or in a cave, or at a mountain terrain; but on some regular flat terrains I would rather use the antilion technique that we still didn't learn. Though the big advantage of this technique is it's long range aswell. The usual elemental pros and cons.

An hour later, Tenten regains her consciousness to see Old Man Onoki sitting cross-legged, eyes closed and in a meditative position. He opens one eye and speaks.

"Focus on conserving chakra... mold your techniques with the least amount possible, but use that small amount of chakra to create the best effect. That's what the 'quality' of your chakra implies. You should be getting the hang of it, otherwise you'll keep passing out."

"Two jutsus for this round so that we don't overdo it." he said in such a way that almost seemed concerned, but was in fact challenging Tenten to take his advice seriously.

"The mudshot jutsu, the C-rank one... mold multiple mudshots and fire them from either a mud source or from your mouth. Excellent range and coverage."

As she wakes up, Tenten spots Onoki san in an meditative position across her, taking a sip of water she listens to senseis concerned observation and the instructions for the next set of techniques. She bursts on her feet with a wide smirk on her face. Crushing a small rock trough her fist with a confident perception.

Don't worry Onoki-san; I will be more refined and conservative with my chakra from now on. It would be an utter disgrace to disgrace my will of rock here, especially infront of a legend like him; she thinks to herself.

She turns to her right and few training dummies Onoki-san pointed out in the vicinity; after molding up a sufficient amount of earthen chakra, she redirects it to her mouth shooting out 3 globules of mud towards 3 training dummies; headshoting all three effectively.

She remains concetrated on the three dummies she just took shots at at long range from her; again molding up a decent amount of doton chakra while weaving a short sequence of handseals; Rat-Snake-Tiger to be exact; as soon as she connects the sequence; a wave of earth erupts on long range from beneath the dummies, connecting in a line between the dummies and Tenten; the "tail" off this earthen wave that erupted from beneath the dummies wraps around the dummies foundation entrapping them; while the wave's "head" lifts Tenten in the air from beneath her feet, branching off into the air and lifting her some 10 meters above the dummy; as she is lifted she takes out 8 shurikens from her pouch hitting the dummies from several angles in an vertical arc as she is getting lifted in the air. She than makes a single handsign and the technique disperses as she lands infront of ojisan.

Pretty decent jutsus jiji, the first one is more effective than the lower ranked one. I like it cuz it does not require handseals and it's a decent distraction or restriction tech.

The second technique is awesome cuz of it's long range and versatility, can be used both to restrict the opponent, widen the gap, afflict damage or defend. The usuall elemental pros and cons apply for both techniques.

Tenten grabs the scrolls Onoki sama threw while listening to his elaborate explanation of the techniques, evidently satisfied with her progress since he even didn't ask her to perform the following jutsus, upon hearing out last of his words, she decides to give her humble opinion of the 2 strong earth techniques;

Hmm, the first technique seems pretty neat, gives me many options in short-mid combat, using this traps in correspondence with lightning pillars and earthen pillars seems neat too. Usual elemental pros and cons apply,

The second technique is awesome cuz it's so versatile, I see myself using it in unlimited amount of situations in offensive and defensive purposes; whether for a simple def from elemental attacks and weaponry or in a close up taijutsu. Usual elemental pros and cons apply. I got no further questions involving this 2 learnt techniques ojisan.

Tenten proceeds to put away the scrolls, eagerly awaiting for the rest of the training session. Taking an appearance of the sensei himself while walking towards him.

Hey, remember this jutsu, it's also that relic's Kakuzu tech, but a more rafined version; 1010 smirks as she starts to plunge right in the middle of the jagging up rocks with her left hand extended and her other hand forming another Snake seal, momentarily before hitting the ground a lighting spear forms around her extended hand and the massive amount of chakra expelled forms a spear alike cloak on 1010.

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

A large boom sfx is heard along with the chirping lighting and 1010 yelling Giaaaan! A flash of light makes Oonoki san to cover his eyes while the blast blows him several hundred meters back, he is shown floating over a just made crater, as the smoke disperses he spots 1010 all bruised up, looking up in his direction.

This is a good defensive jutsu pops. I would perhaps use it offensively in combo with high ranked tai blows. Can we pick it up?

These next two jutsus are similar in function such that they create "openings" in the sky from which Earth falls out from down towards the ground. The first technique uses mud, and the second is a dome/lid-shaped section of Earth.

Couple of questions:

1. What's the main advantage of using these jutsus versus other earth techniques? Hint: it has to do with how Earth jutsus form and are sourced from.

2. For the Dropping Lid, when would you use the Hollow version of the Lid vs. the complete one?

Description: The user does 2 handseals (Ram → Snake) and creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of sticky mud (in all similar to that of Swamp of the Underworld Technique), covering them. The mud is very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, making it impossible to move if caught and easily crushing an enemy underneath. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

1. The main advantage of both jutsus is that they're not formed underneath the opponent/on the ground, but in form of overhead portals. If played/contexed out correctly, the opponent will not see these jutsus coming.

2. Instead of the complete one? Perhaps if my opponent uses a fire tech up to rank B, I would entrap him with the hollow lid and follow it up with a swamp beneath his feet, ergo make him bake himself. The raiton binding pillars may also follow up in the combo.

Let's go over four jutsus next, to make up for lost time. The first is a Shadow Clone made of Earth. Self-explanatory in the description itself, I think. The mud that forms after the clone is defeated can serve as a mud source for other mud-based jutsus

The next three all rely on manipulating the ground directly below and around the target. Devouring Earth forms the ground into large 'jaws' that 'eat' their targets. Earth Corridor forms a large cavern that surrounds and traps the enemy. Antlion causes the Earth to 'flush' inwards on itself, much like water flowing down a toilet xd

Note that Antlion can only be formed in mid-range or longer, because if you do it short range, you'll be trapped in the swirling, and you're gonna have a bad time after that U_U

(Doton Kage Bunshin) – Earth Release Shadow Clone

Description: This technique creates a clone made of mud. Since its made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape even after taking physical damage (up to C-Rank). An unique use is that after reverting to mud, it can hold the opponent in place as a binding technique. They can also use up to C rank earth techniques.

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.
