Dont do it boo, Sakura is very kind, She is just depicted as more hot headed that Rin. And dont sleep on Rin either, she probably was hot head too. They are equal in kindness

She knocks naruto out because she knows he wont hit back, gauranatee if he was like sasuke she would have recieved an odama rasengan to the chest already. You cant go on assumptions that rin was hot headed

She punches Naruto as acts of discipline, he needs to be corrected when he does something wrong, and most of them are playful and out of love. She never did it for no reason, and its not like she hurt him. You can't go assuming that she wasn't, they are very much alike, Kakashi noted it somwhere in part 1, and with you not judging a book by it's cover logic, how can you say she wasn't hothead? lol

Hashirama and naruo are much alike too doesnt mean they have the exact same personality and nature. Similar but not identical. We havent seen Rin show the least act of hostility to her team mates even out of discipline. A hard talking to is her act of discipline and talk no jutsu. Saying she done it out of love isnt accurate as she found a pleasure in knocking him out some of the time. Sometimes its not ever necessary to punch him.

Im using what facts we have already to make a deduction, if she had showed any violence then he would have brought it up like Jiraiya did. He explained he was always getting hit however kakashi has mentioned nothing regarding Rin and violence
