to be immensely powerful, and I don't believe that Sasori or Konan or Kakuzu are at all immune to genjutsu, since the Kyūbi is just a giant mass of chakra, and it can be manipulated with genjutsu.

Typically, Genjutsu users extend their chakra in to the brain to manipulate the mind's chakra. Sasori has a mind, but no brain. A Genjutsu user should still be able to manipulate his mind's chakra - wherever it is.

Lol, most bullshit statement i have ever seen. NArutos maybe is not as smart as shikamaru, but lets face it noone is. Naruto mastered sage mode, kyubi mode, rasengan, wins style:rasen shuriken. So stating that naruto has no brains is just admiting that you yourself are kind of goofy.

i don't remember him using MS against Oro when Oro was a part of the akatsuki but maybe he did well it was a long tim ago so i don't quite remember it that well

the fights are set up with full knowledge against each other .
so they'll be extremely aware against itachi's genjutsu.(except hidan lol)

i'm sure that S-rank shiinobis can break most of itachi's genjutsu.(takes time though)
