You know, truth is an interesting thing. Truth does not change based on one's opinions. Truth does not change on many opinions. Truth does not change over time. Truth is no subjective, but objective. Truth simply waits on discovery, but it itself is eternally steadfast. Everything in existences has truths about it, and for every truth there are infinite false options. However, truth affects each and every one of us in a real way, from our everyday lives to our eternity.

As truth is part of everything, it is also part of the "religious debate". One side is right, but one side only. Christianity, Islam, Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist, Hinduism, or any other of the religions is true. There is an answer, regardless of the opinions of billions. Regardless if the followers do not follow correctly. There is a truth.

The issue is this: If there is a Heaven and a Hell, and a way towards each, then religious truth becomes very crucial. Literally of the utmost concern. However, it has been clouded by man, causing all sorts of trouble. After all, if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the pit.

It doesn't matter what one believes. What matters is what the truth is, and how one's actions end up towards it. The thing is that the consequences have universal and eternal consequences. That is why the truth is so important.

I'm a muslim, and i used to be really religious. But now i dunno i kinda chaned but I still do belive in God/Allah because true Islam is about peace and loving eachother, dunno whats happning now in middle-east that are fuked up now. They use religion for their own gains, just like it happened with other religions.

Beside that Mohammad didn't write the quran, its god words.

I can't do anything about that, I'm just a noob on the net :T_T:

What do you mean by that?

Then who do you think wrote it?
The people who were connected with Muhammad, though he might have been the "oral" author of the Qu'ran..

I'll tell you what i mean, when you answer this question:
Is god limited to seven heavens?

Also If God existed there should not have been any Church or Anything else. Cause if he Is *there* Why let a Human* teach men. why not let god himself Reach the new Born Child/baby ? or is this because he doesn't* exist. this is because w/o this. people ain't earning money.
Churches were created as a place of worship not propaganda .. Notice that you are in the belief that Christianity represents Religion.. when it clearly does not.. Christianity is one of the most flawed religions out there..

Why should god teach people himself?

Because he is the one Who Created them isn't by your logic?
-god makes them he has to help them survive - teach them to live. not by a human.
- a mom who gives birth to a Child. helps him throughout life untill she reaches here lifeTime. isn't it weird when a mom gives birth to a Child? she just let someone Else grow em up because?.....explane

I'm a studious Christian with something like a sound mind I guess, as well as a writer ^_^ I mean, at the end of the day wisdom is nothing more than a good dose of common sense.

O well you're actually right on that regard. Muhammad never wrote it it was his companions and followers who wrote them down on various things like bomes or stones after they heard the prophet reciting the verses to them.

No he isn't.

Since i'm doing research on Sikhism/Buddhism at the moment let me just answer that concept of "truth"
"The temple and the mosque are the
same,
pooja
and
namaaz are the same.
All mankind is one but appears to be
several (groups). (The existence as
different entities) of gods, the anti-gods,
the
yakshas
and
gandharvs;
of the
Muslims and the Hindus; is merely the
difference in dress (outer appearance) of
(people from) different countries. All
have the same eyes, the same ears, the
same body and the same form. They are
all made of earth, air, fire and water.
Allah
and the Formless God are the
same; the
Purans
and the Qura'an are
the same; all are the same appearance,
the same form." [2, page 19]

No he isn't.
Then it is not the word of muhammad truly, it is simply the writings of people who wrote about what muhammad said. And on further notice it goes back to the bible being flawed. These are the biggest flaws in Christianity and Islam.

Though the Qu'ran stricts him to 7 heavens?

"To say he doesn't exist is a lie, to say he exists is a lie also. For one did not search the whole universe to say he does not exist, on the other hand one also has not seen him to say he does exist. " - 10th guru of the Sikhs.

About religion vs science arguments:

This whole argument is based on assumptions and beliefs of one person. The mere belief of Science vs Religion, downgrades all the arguments presented against religion. To say religion dominates science goes against the fact that most religions are also based on science.

Science explains how things work. It does not go against "god" it simply goes against the beliefs of some people.

Islam itself uses plenty of science. In fact Muslims were quite superior to the Europeans during the Crusades..due to the acknowledgement of using Science.

You cannot mix FAITH with Science.. Nor can you put them against each other. It pains me to see people who call themselves "Smart people of science or religion" using these 2 things against each other. No human being on the planet exists without faith, whether they want to admit it or not.

The debates aren't against Science vs religion, they are always about 2 different beliefs of people.

MY opinion on religion:

Sure you can believe whatever you want. But always remember Humanity is the top priority not your own personal faith.

Christians some who claim god to be the almighty contradict themselves by putting a war against God vs Satan. Some believe it is the word of God, but fail to realize it wasn't written by their beloved "son of God".

Muslims some people do not realize that Islam is based on upon the teachings of the Jews, but "upgraded" by their prophet Muhammad. On top of that there are some who still to this day believe Muhammad Sahib himself wrote the Quran...

Sikhs some of them believe in the caste system, but fail to realize that their religion speaks of no caste system, but equality of humans. But again ruined by the personal opinions of the people who have been in "Tribal" or "caste" fights for a long period of time.

Hindus some simply fail to realize they do more harm to humanity with their rituals than they actually do good.

Your opinion now!

as far as the whole muslims dominated the europeans isnt quite true, Saladin took back Jerusalem when their king died

during the 3rd crusade King Henry The LionHeart and KIng Philip of France successfully took back Jerusalem from Saladin...but this isnt what your thread is about so forget...

i thought the Muslim Prophet Muhammad wrote the Quran...?

also your point of view is dead on...some parts of religion just dnt add up and the whole thing about science is it will take too long to unlock the mystery of the universe, none of us will exist by then and its even debateable if the human race will exist to even uncover that truth...

even if science takes us far it still cant determine something that transcends scientific logic, a being/force of that magnitude cant be figured out by science of humanity, the only thing we can know is if there are any other life in existence which is another topic for another day....

the religions of the world, all seem to not add up at some points, but then again something like "God" shouldnt make sense to us who are human...

i believe in a higher power, in a higher being, in a higher force, something cant be made from nothing....Nothing+Nothing=Nothing

No he isn't.

so his followers basically wrote it after he said it to them, that still shows him as being the creator of the Quran

With all due respect, I don't see how that answers anything. Frankly, everything isn't the same.

no, its has basically like this.

Allah tells it to The angel Gabriel[Jibril in Arabic] and Gabriel teaches it to Muhammad until he has memorized it, and then the prophet teaches it to his followers, who then wrote it down as such

If you feel superior, counter something I said.

But the fact remains it can't be countered, because i simply stated something I see on a daily basis. But please enlighten us.

With all due respect, I don't see how that answers anything. Frankly, everything isn't the same.

Humanity > All religions.

Hindus and Muslims are the same.. Christians and sikhs are the same.... athiests and religious people are the same... meaning humanity is the same. We simply divide ourselves into groups and seek something that we are not sure of and debate and fight over different beliefs, instead of logically discussing them.

That was my response to the whole "1 truth" thing.
