Hei preforms a single handseal focusing chakra into his hand and proceeds to slam it to the ground. This causes the earth up to a mid-ranged area to "turn over."
This technique like most can be useful when used in the right way. Having two main uses as stated, being able to destroy an enemies earth technique so long as it has an equal rank or below. It also can cause an opponents ankles to be jagged, throwing them off balance and distract them, leaving the user to attack or flee. This however should not be used lightly as it can also leave the user open for attack depending on the situation in which it is used
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After performing snake hand seal the user slams their hand on the ground. The result is that the ground becomes heavily turned up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack although it can also do some damage or be udes to destroy enemy earth techniques of equal rank and bellow.

Hei makes 2 handseals focusing his chakra and encasing his right arm in earth, Hei then proceeds to deal a powerful punch to a near by tree causing it to break and fall over.
One of my favorite techniques, I have a custom similar to it. Very useful in close combat, dealing extra damage when combined with Taijutsu. It's power can also be increased with the use of "Earth Release: Added Weight Technique" or "Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique" as stated.
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After performing the snake → Seal of Confrontation and then by encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.

Hei focuses his chakra into the ground while making a set of 4 handseals, this creates an opening in the ground that st reaches out to long range.
A unique and difficult jutsu to use during battle, it's not as useful as other evading techniques. Most useful would be having clones sneak though it while an opponent is detracted or sending an attack though the tunnel unseen by an opponent.
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat →Bird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.
Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.

(Doton: Dōka Iwa fubuki) - Earth Release: Assimilated Rock Blizzard
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After performing the Assimilate All Creation Technique to fuse with an object, the user controls the rocks that make up their "body" and shoot the rocks at the target.
Note: Must use Assimilate all creation technique beforehand.

A situational technique in which prior to using it you must have used Assimilate All Creation on an earthen substance. As the description says you simply just shoot the rocks that compose your body at your target. Take note of the range. Pretty straight forward.

(Doton: Retsudo Tenshin) - Earth Release: Violent Heavenly Earth Needle
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage point: 30
Description: The user after after using earth release: earth flow wave, will perform the snake hand seal and then will create a large needle out of it to impale the opponent.
Note: Must use Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave before hand

Gotta love these really basic techniques e_e. Once again pretty straight forward. Simply launch a needle out from the flow you had created prior to impale a target.

(Doton: Dāchiganshō) - Earth Release: Ground Bedrock
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After forming the necessary seal Snake, the user creates two walls of earth and traps their target in between them, crushing them.

Create two walls composed of earth and sandwich your target in between. Another simple one. Each wall would be D-Rank of course as per the rules of dividing up a technique.

I'm not going to post the relating jutsu as I don't really see the need to.. I do however understand that they will need to be posted in Battles and these jutsu don't count as both, meaning each technique counts as a move.
Hei fuses with the ground using the All Creation Technique, Hei then focuses his chakra and releases the ground that makes up he "being". This releases a short ranged blast of rocks capable of causing harm to an opponent.
Another simple yet interesting Jutsu. Most useful in sneak attack situations yet not very effective in straight foreword combat.

Hei uses "Earth Flow Wave" technique and continues focusing his chakra, forming another handseal "Snake" thous creating a larce earthen needle that shoots out to impale an opponent.
Indeed, got to love them.. Straight forword technique as stated needs to be used in combination with the Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave. and of course, cannot pierce targets of greater density.

Hei focuses his chakra under a wooden post. After making a single handseal two slabs of earth will rise from the sides, crusing the wooden post between them.
Another of my Favorite jutsu, simply yet speedy. I mostly used this technique to distract and opponent from greater threat. Indeed, each slab is D-ranked in power..

No worries. I know you know, lol. Or rather I hope xD. Nice job o-o.

(Doton: Hokoriheki no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the ground and with a wave of their arm or through the application of a weapon can cause a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrusting forwards. This technique creates a simple dust screen that will fade away after 3 turns.
Alright this technique causes you to apply doton chakra to cause dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and be thrown forwards to create a dust screen. This is pretty great for a few reasons. The first is that you get to block dojutsu (aside from the Byakugan) and that it acts similar to Hiding in Mist. The next is the potential customs that can be made from manipulating dust particles. In a sense its sort of like using Sand, or rather feels that way.

( Doton: Rokkuhanmā ) - Earth Release: Rock Hammer
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their chakra and creates a huge rock from the ground that will rise up, hammering the opponent by slamming it down from above them.
Pretty basic one yet again. Manipulate earth within short-range of you to create a hammer that will slam down onto an opponent and crush them. Pretty basic and obvious.

( Doton: Iwa Dangan ) - Earth Release: Rock Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user manipulating their chakra will point their palm or fist at the opponent, creating a large rock on it which he then sends at the opponent. Alternatively, the user can "spit" the rock. In this case he will spit a large globule of mud which hardens mid way towards the opponent into a large rock.
Okay, so this one is kinda cool. Basically you can launch rocks from your palms or closed fists toward an opponent or spit mud which hardens mid-way toward the target. I think the cool aspect of this technique is the two forms they can be released in. The mud, as I said, hardens eventually but for the first half of its journey will actually be in mud form. Meaning you can set up combinations with mud or use it in mud form itself if the target is close enough.

Hei focuses his chakra using basic chakra manipulation, with a wave of his arm dust shoots up from the ground effectively hindering the view of the battlefield.
Useful when attempting to evade and opponent or cause a detraction when trying to mask another technique. Not a lot of drawback to this technique as pretty well rounded. dustscreen remains for three turns unless blown away with other technique.

Hei focuses his chakra into the ground forming a large rock which he lifts above his opponent and then proceeds to slam it down, crushing them.
A rather useless technique, when in close combat it would take to long to lift and smash the rock, leaving to much time for the opponent to counter. Best used when the opponent is somehow incapacitated.

Hei focuses his chakra while placing his and upwards. This forms a large rock which he shoots into the sky. Hei then continues by focusing his chakra yet again, using the same technique however this time focusing it within him. Hei then proceeds by spitting out a glob of Mud that continues on, forming and hardening into a rock as it travels upon an opponent.
A good technique for all ranges. The "spit" veriant can be really useful in hand to hand combat as it doesn't require handseals and can be shot point blank.

( Doton: Jōshō Iwa ) - Earth Release: Rising Rocks
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user claps their hands together and then unleashes two huge rocks from the ground on either side of the enemy to send the opponent flying backwards.
Dislodge rock from the ground and use it to push your opponent. Its nice as it comes from either side of them and manipulates their positioning should it actually land. Pretty straight forward once again.

( Doton: Gizagiza no Iwajin ) - Earth Release: Jagged Rock Formation
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and stomps the ground. By doing so, he causes small fractures to rip through the ground, which will then force fragments of earth and rock to rise up from the ground like protruding rock formations to then deal blunt force damage to the opponent and can raise them up into the air.
I like the image this paints in my mind. Basically the earth that is forced upwards lifts the opponent up and inflicts some blunt damage to them. Another useful one on manipulating positioning and setting up other combinations that can leave the opponent in an awkward situation.

Focusing his chakra into the ground around his opponent, Hei quickly claps his hands together releasing two huge chunks of earth from the left side of his opponent, these rocks smash into the opponent causing them to be blasted backwards.
Another quick technique that is most effective with some range. It allows the user to attack from a different angle on the battlefield. Both rocks are equal to D-ranked

Hei focuses his chakra into the ground before slamming his foot against it. This causes the ground to fracture as fragments of earth rise from it.
This can be useful in multiple ways. It can cause damage to the opponent while altering the battlefield up to a Mid ranged area, this can provide platforms if needed while in battle.

(Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Ox → placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them in a mayhem of jagged rocks. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.

Alright, now for the more exciting stuff. Or close enough. Something like that .-.

Anyways, cause the ground to spiral inwards dragging the opponent down and crushing them in the rubble of jagged rocks. The glory about this technique is the range and how it varies by terrain. The range can be quite extensive and the larger you go the more damage you'll cause on the terrain as well.

( Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid

Damage points: 40
Description: The user of this technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions to make it harder to evade. However, it can be easilty avoided by escaping upwards.

Another simple one. Cause earthen materials to condense to cause four spikes to strike the target from four different directions to make evasion somewhat more complicated. But as the technique so obviously states you can easily evade it by moving upwards. Simple technique.

Hei focuses his chakea while making 2 quick handseals and then places his hand on the ground releasing his chakra into it. This causes the ground surrounding himself up to a Mid-ranged area to spiral inwards on itself, causing it to uplift nearby plants and brush and turn it over, ultimately burying and crushing it.
A useful technique, it can really be used to many different affects. runs the risk of being hit with faster ground assaults when placing hand on ground and as such, timing can be key.

Hei then proceeds to focus his chakra, condensing the previously uplifted earth. This causes it to form into 4 large spikes that sprout out from different angles around an "opponent" causing it to stab them.
A common technique, it has good power and is useful when setting up future attack. However the condensing of the ground could give an opponent notice of whats to come.

A common technique, it has good power and is useful when setting up future attack. However the condensing of the ground could give an opponent notice of whats to come.
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user of this technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions to make it harder to evade. However, it can be easily avoided by escaping upwards.

Alright, very good very good u-u.

Onto the A-Ranks.

( Doton: Tajū Doryūheki ) - Earth Release: Multiple Mudwall Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: Like the parent technique, it creates a reinforced wall of earth to be used as a defensive mechanism. However, the technique works in a different manner. Using a pre-existing source of earth, it allows the user to create multiple walls of earth, further fortifying their defense instead of forming a single wall, by slamming his hands on the ground.

Simply creating multiple reinforced walls of earth for defensive purposes. The only difference between this and the parent technique is that you can create multiple earthen walls. Remember, for each wall you create the total strength will remain at A-Rank but each wall is weaker. Two walls being each B-Rank, four being C-Rank, 8 being D-Rank and so on.

(Doton: Uitenpen) - Earth Style: Wheel Of Fortune
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Descripton: The user will bite his thumb and perform the Boar → Monkey → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, slamming their hand into a scroll on the ground. This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle
(Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description:This jutsu is used after Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. The user will do the Boar → Monkey hand seals, slamming his hand on the ground and focusing his earth chakra. As he does this, he can change the design of the original technique. He can do this 3 times per battle.

Right, Wheel of Fortune is a rather underused technique. Using prepared drawn scrolls (usually mentioned on your biography) you can summon rock formations from a giant canyon which can be shaped in accordance to the outlined scrolls. This is probably the ultimate example of earth release's ability to control the terrain. You can literally change the terrain into anything you want. A castle, maze, prison, etc etc. Anything within reason and your imagination. Its extremely useful and powerful. You can disperse the summoning to restore the original terrain at your discretion or if you are defeated the same will happen.

With the Dimension Topography Control you can use another prepared scroll to manipulate the already summoned earth. So basically, switch the terrain up.

Alrighty then ^^
Hei focuses his chakra as he places his hands upon the ground. Using basic shape manipulation, Hei rises 4 walls all around himself that equal C-rank.
Like its predecessor, Its useful when blocking attacks of appropriate ranks, however with this technique one can rise more walls by dividing up it's power allowing for one to defend from multiple angles of attack.

Hei pulls out a pre-drawn scroll after biting his thumb and makes a quick set of five handseals. By proceeding to slam the scroll to the ground, Hei summons forth earth that manifests and changes the battlefield into that of a giant maze.
Useful in changing the battlefield in one you may be more conferrable with, one could also muster up combinations with standard Ninjutsu by laying traps etc to further hinder opponents.

After making the Earthen Maze, Hei makes 2 more handseals, causing the walls to shift, changing the maze as he places his hand upon the ground.

Although if you could overlook my last post, we can start from there lol.

Alright, firstly unless mandatory we won't be doing that 3 jutsu reply type of training.

I'm under the impression that your understanding of Earth release is decent. Given your past mastery of the element. So well thought out questions, pros and cons should be enough.

I don't really see a point in asking you to perform it since it is quite simple and straightforward. Channeling chakra into the ground after molding Doton chakra, you exert power over an already existing earth source and use it to create a wall or several of them. Instead of asking you to perform said actions, I want you to explain the technique to me in the best way possible. It's not much, just try to explain other ways you can use it aside from the obvious forward defense.

As I stated before, like its predecessor this technique is useful when blocking attacks of appropriate ranks, however with this technique one can rise more walls by dividing up it's power allowing for one to defend from multiple angles of attack. It can also be used to conceal allies, clones and/or other techniques and movements depending on the way it's used and positioning of the characters.

Useful by changing the battlefield to one you may be more conferrable with and is unfamiliar to the opponent gaining the advantage. One could also muster up combinations with standard Ninjutsu by laying traps etc to further hinder opponents movements and navigation of the technique. Do the pre-drawn scroll need to be placed in the bio? or is it used like a normal technique and you just describe it when used?

I think both methods are fine, because you simply summon to the field whatever you draw. It could be already drawn before hand and located in your bio, or use a blank scroll and do the drawing in the midst of the battle.

Indeed, Its useful if the opponent gets an understanding of the landscape you previously made allowing the user to change it into something more fitting or use this technique for further traps. Can on use this technique to change an opponents Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune technique? In order to manipulate the landscape to work against them?

Interesting question. My initial thought is no, because the technique is a summoning, and since it "removes" itself from the field when the user dies, this means their chakra is constantly fueling the landscape. And well, you know we cannot manipulate techniques with foreign chakra in them.

(Doton: Iwa no Gōremu) – Earth Release: Stone Golem
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user expels a large creature composed of stone from his mouth. The rock golem has a fair amount of stamina and brute strength, being able to bite and tear off flesh with its mouth and hands respectively. If used from above the target then the user can use the earth golem to drop down onto the opponent like a bomb and crush them. The golem can also devour earth structures and other enemy attacks, biting and chewing on it.

This is personally one of the best rock jutsu for me. It can be used in most situations if you get creative with it. The regular sizdd golem which is still a bit larger than a human adult.

That's what I figured from it. A useful technique but one I never use. effective when bound. Can be used to defend threat and when used correctly can cause harm to the user to break Genjutsu if needed. Can it be released and move about on it's own? or is it always connected to the mouth, and once release loses mobility?
