[Discussion] Rank the SHs based on intelligence

Here's how I would organize them into tiers:

Genius: Robin, Nami, Franky

Smart: Sanji, Chopper (excellent at medicine but too naive), Usopp, Brook

Average: Zoro

Dumb : Luffy


Here's my ranking for them (not completely confident with some of these):

1. Robin
2. Nami
3. Franky
4. Chopper/Sanji
5. Sanji/Chopper
6. Brook
7. Usopp
8. Zoro
9. Luffy

I agree almost completely with this list, but I would rate Sanji on 4 and Chopper on 5.

Chopper knows a lot of medical stuff, but he still is a little dumbass every now and then. You won't catch the top 4 doing any rash or stupid things, but the rest has some questionable behavior.

I don't agree with the genius tier. Robin is pretty smart learning to read the poneglyphs at such a young age is an impressive feat, but her intelligence hasn't yielded anything in recent years. (can't really recall anything particularly smart she's done since joining the SHs).

Also, can't really call Franky intelligent, he learnt how to build ships and he's very good at it (probably the best), but then it just about ends there. he's very intelligent (only) when it comes to building things, hasn't shown any other intelligence feat.

If you put all the SHs in a room with some haxx puzzle. I see them solving it in this order.

Robin
Sanji/Usopp
Usopp/Sanji
Nami
Chopper
Franky
Brook
Zoro
Luffy.

Oda said that Nami was the 3rd smartest character from the East Blue (with Beckman as #1 and Kuro as #2). This automatically puts Nami above the other crew members from the East Blue.

What Sbs was this because I know it's an old one. I don't see Kuro being the second smartest either regarding other legendary pirates that came from there.
Unless you're saying nami is smart enough to create her own Clima-Tact?
