Random thread: Rusty Naruto and (Sasuke?)

During the gaiden Naruto was said to have become rusty do not participating in battle for a long period of time. And Sasuke seemed to make questionable combat decisions as well. Shin Uchiha warned against complacency and Sasuke had suspicions of a threat greater than Kaguya.

The thing is...did they heed Shin's little wake up call after being caught flat footed by him? Have they gotten back in shape by the time of the chuunin exams? Does the rusty tag still apply?

What are you thoughts on the subject?

If we go by the anime Naruto's been training while Sasuke's been travelling. I'd assume Sasuke may be training against his shadow clones or something. Naruto's is confirmed so no the rusty tag wouldn't or shouldn't apply.

Naruto was the only one actually rusty. So it's interesting that Rinnegan Sasuke with no chakra left is able to keep up with a pseudo ms user.

Hebi Sasuke would deal with Shin 0 diff - and they made Adult Sasuke barely keeping up and then there is Sasuke vs Kinshiki moving speed of lighting

Sasuke wasn’t rusty when he went against shin, he was low on chakra/power due to him using his Rinnegan is Space–Time Jutsu preciously.

Lets be honest, Sasuke has the half hearted excuse of low chakra and for Naruto its just the plot holding him back. We can't have these guys ending every conflict in literally 5 seconds.

Lets be honest, Sasuke has the half hearted excuse of low chakra and for Naruto its just the plot holding him back. We can't have these guys ending every conflict in literally 5 seconds.

This is exactly why the series of Boruto is a gigantic joke. Naruto and Sasuke(alone or together) would be able to destroy anyone who opposes them.

If they wanted to make another series around the Naruto lore, it should have been made after Naruto and Sasuke have died. As it stands currently, it's a stupid show/manga idea.

Rinnegan Sasuke had 0% chakra left while Hebi Sasuke has his + Sage chakra+ White Snake Orochimaru chakra.
If that was Hebi Sasuke with 0% chakra then he would lose to shin.

Well sasuke is weaker but not skill wises insteads he has somthing to lose now, like any hero his weakness is his heart(love for someone) Hes no longer the solo avenger of a clan. And naruto is just a bumm now whos doesnt train and is more of a politician now. Naruto skills are prollly rusted while sasuke is only as strong as the weakest link(sarada) (if she cant protect her self then sasuke will have to be the one taking the dirty shoots).

Shin was a weak opponent. Sasuke had no excuse for letting his blades stab him in the back.

No Ms user is a weak opponent because when Naruto saw the Ms patterns he immediately started using the Kyubi's chakra. Sasuke on the other hand no chakra left so there's an excuse there.

Ameno doesnt drain the user of ALL their chakra, so stop saying he had none. He was just too rusty to counter Shin's blades effectively. We saw how weak Shin was. There's no excuse.

I never said that Amenotejakra drains the user of all there chakra so what the hell are you talking about? I said that traveling Kaguya's dimension did hence why he wasn't able to fully use his ocular power

Are you comparing Hebi Sasuke with Adult Sasuke? ... Even with all that what he had as Hebi is nothing compared to Sasuke now. Im saying that Hebi Sasuke was capable of taking shin 0 diff, and in the Shin fight Sasuke was struggling vs Shin and mini Shin.... Whatever Sasuke was out of chakra or not his base is enough to deal with the likes of Shin with no effort even without Sharingan

You're right...but then they should at least make worthy opponents and not nerfing them to the point where they look weak when it shouldnt be that way.
