@Question: Hmm.. well a sempai is only allowed to teach the basic 5 elements and each sensei can pick one sempai, while senseis are able to teach pretty much anything they know and also conduct battle tests and are qualified to judge fights. And it's okay ^^

As I do this, I focus strongly on replicating these feelings of the vibrations, of the energy, and of the heat onto my hand and suddenly, as I channel the chakra outward carefully, the chakra takes on the form of lightning. I then utilize shape manipulation in order to mold the protruding chakra into a bolt of lightning. Finally, as I do this, I turn to the right steadily, and lock my eyes unto the green tree just several meters in front of me. I launch the lightning projectile and as it reaches it's target the resulting interaction causes the tree to not only be split in half, where the initial contact point of the lightning bolt had occurred, but the tree also becomes consumed by a flame ignited by the projectile. I then relax, and begin to catch my breath.*

Advantages: Great jutsu to use in a close quarters combat situation. Also a good jutsu to use if the user wants to get their opponent to back off, seeing as to how if the enemy were to use taijutsu on the user, they would be shocked.
Disadvantages: This jutsu has a short range, and if the user's opponent were to use a long ranged, say wind oriented technique, keeping their distance, then this jutsu would be difficult to execute.

Advantages: No hand seals required, so it's a pretty quick technique to execute. There are also multiple bolts being thrown at the opponent and so the likeliness of the attack injuring the target is increased significantly.
Disadvantages: This jutsu has a short range, and so the user must be weary of how far away they are when attempting to use this technique.

Great, done with D-Ranks but before we move on I want you to create a move as though you were making the opening move in a battle using atleast one of the Lightning techs you've learned so far and anything else you have learned.
Alright, here we go!
*I lock my eyes upon you menacingly and proceed to gather my suiton chakra quickly, once I've done this I then expel the chakra and use shape manipulation in order to create a thick white mist. The mist soon blankets both me and you from about a 10 meter radius in the surrounding area so that you are unable to see me and once the mist has settled in I then silently re position myself so that I'm right behind you from 5 meters away. I then gather my suiton chakra up and proceed to release it from my mouth, creating a wave of water directing itself towards you and as it's doing this, I quickly build up my futon chakra and blow out a gust of wind that combines with the wave of water on it's way toward you and enhances the water's destructive capability. Once the wave makes contact with you it thrashes your body around, cutting you in several places and injuring you more so then an average wave of water would due to the wind infusion, covering and surrounding you with water as well. As you're attempting to recover from the attack I finally gather up my raiton chakra into both of my hands and once I've gathered enough I slam my hands into the ground, causing a surge of lightning to release it self and head towards you. As the lightning surge makes contact you are then shocked severely, this damage being amplified by the water acting as a conductor.*

Let's see.. you used the hidden mist technique yet you didn't take any advantage out of it, a wild wave of water makes alot of sound so the opponent wouldn't have trouble noticing it. If you obstruct the opponent's vision try using a technique which causes little to no sound so that you can catch him by surprise.. for example you could've used the C-Rank water whip to catch him and then use a lightning technique guided through the whip to electrocute him, just a very simple example. But I suppose if succesfull the lightning damage would be amplified because the opponent is left soaked, so you did that right.
Let's proceed with C-Ranks;
Hold out your hands and gather lightning chakra within them, then simply release a wave of lightning from your hands which can reach upto short range but is best used when combined with a water technique.
Hold out both hands once again with your palms facing eachother and gather lightning chakra within them. Then channel the chakra outward through your palms and mold the chakra inbetween them and create a single ball of lightning.

Advantages: Great jutsu to use in combination with any water technique such as the Water Whip that you had mentioned above. It also has the ability to increase in power in order to destroy objects that surround the battle area which could be advantageous for the user.
Disadvantages: This technique has a short range of 0-5 meters and although it's possible to use a water jutsu in conjunction with this one, if the user doesn't know any water techniques then they'd be missing out on a good combo attack.

This jutsu requires no hand seals, therefore the user may use this as a quick protection against an incoming attack.
Disadvantages: This technique's best quality, the protection aspect, may only block ONE attack from the enemy. The user must take this into consideration because if the enemy launches multiple attack in quick succession then this technique won't protect them for very long.Furthermore, if the enemy uses long ranged based techniques then they will not be injured, as they will see no need to get near the electrical field.

Raise one of your hands infront of you like a sword and gather lightning chakra within that hand. Then channel that lightning outward and mold it around your hand until it begins glowing in pale yellow and then strike your hand down and release bolts of lightning in the shape of a horn.
For this technique I'll go ahead and assume you have a sword, take out your sword and channel your lightning chakra into it increasing it's cutting capabilities due to the vibrations produced by the lightning. Then levitate the sword infront of you and create two physical copies of that sword. Then proceed to manipulate the sword and the copies to spin rapidly and have them attack my clone -creates a clone-

Advantages: This technique has a range of 0-10 meters which is very good. It requires no hand seals to perform and so the prep time is kept at a minimum because of this and furthermore, the attack spreads outwards, which increases the amount of targets it can make contact with at that given time.
Disadvantages: The user is not able to manipulate the bolts of lightning in any way and so this means that the user must take their time to aim to ensure that the projectile(s) is launched in the correct location(s).

Advantages: This technique has a great range, enhances the cutting capabilities of the sword, and creates two more physical manifestations that, most importantly, are able to be manipulated by the user towards anywhere they would wish. This opens the user up to many advantages in battle.

Advantages: This technique has a range of 0-10 meters which is very good. It requires no hand seals to perform and so the prep time is kept at a minimum because of this and furthermore, the attack spreads outwards, which increases the amount of targets it can make contact with at that given time.
Disadvantages: The user is not able to manipulate the bolts of lightning in any way and so this means that the user must take their time to aim to ensure that the projectile(s) is launched in the correct location(s).

Once I've done this I then levitate the sword in mid air, and proceed to create two more exact physical copies of the weapon. Once I've done this I then turn towards the clone, and send the swords at it, as they slash rapidly towards their victim. Upon contact, the clone is cut all over it's body severely due to the lightning augmentation. The clone then disperses with a "poof" noise.*
