*I unsheathe my blade and begin to channel my raiton chakra into it, lightning beginning to crackle around the blade itself. In order to test the blades cutting capabilities I walk over calmly to a nearby thick tree, and slice at it at an angle. The tree is cut completely and falls apart in two pieces.*

Advantages: This technique is great because it enhances the cutting capabilities of the user's sword. With this the user can cut objects easier and hurt their opponent severely.

Disadvantages: Does no damage, and the user's enemy could use a wind based technique to suppress this one, stripping the blade of it's lightning properties.

*I begin by performing the Ram hand sign, and raise my right hand up towards the sky. This sends an electrical essence into the sky and triggers an electrical discharge. The attack is aimed towards a nearby rock slightly larger then me and as it makes contact with the rock, the rock is destroyed completely by the discharge of lightning.*

Advantages: Awesome technique, has a very very good range to it as well and the precision of the technique is at a pin point location.

Disadvantages: Requires a hand sign to use which increases prep time even if slightly and to add on to the that the user has to hold their hand up to the sky which could immediately signal his/her enemy to act in response and protect themselves.

Take out two large shuriken or Windmill shuriken and coat them in lightning chakra and then throw them towards your target and maintain connected to the shuriken through an electrical cable. The objective of this technique is not to injure the target with the shuriken but instead to wrap the cable around them delivering a numbing shock which paralyzes the target.

*I begin by acquiring two large shuriken, and coat them with my raiton chakra respectively. I then create a clone and proceed to launch the two shuriken towards it, with a thread of lightning connecting them in between. Upon contact the shuriken wrap the thread around the clone and the clone is shocked badly and paralyzed.*

Advantages: Does great and damage and has a good range, most importantly has the capability of temporarily numbing the target for one entire turn.

Disadvantages: It seems fairly easy to dodge due to the two shuriken projectiles being so large and one directional.

How I would defend myself from this technique: By moving out of the projectiles' path one could easily dodge this technique.

*I begin by holding out both of my hands, and send a surge of my raiton chakra creating a current of lightning from them. The lightning burst fails to attain the certain purple glow described and so I try it again. I repeat the process and focus more of my raiton chakra into my hands, letting the current out, this time creating the purple glow!*

Advantages: Does good damage, and most importantly knocks enemies away from you.

Disadvantages: Has a very short range and so may only best be used when being attacked at close range.

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow however the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

Concentrate lightning chakra throughout your body and generate a plasma barrier around yourself able to protect you from wide-ranged attacks. You should be able to maintain the barrier for upto three turns by gradually adding more chakra to sustain it but as long as the barrier is sustained you cannot use anything other than lightning and physical techniques. You can also use the barrier to attack your target by discharging it into a direction of your choice

I decide to use it as an attack and discharge it, the resulting wave of lightning hitting a group of trees that break apart and catch fire.*

Advantages: Really useful technique that is a very good means for both defense and offense. It's hard to come by a technique that can protect it's user so well while also being able to attack their enemy.

Disadvantages: Only lasts three turns and if the user decides to hold onto the shield they are only able to perform lightning and physical attacks.

*I start by gathering my raiton chakra into both my right and left hand, condensing it into an orb of lightning chakra. I then turn towards a group of trees (You know, the ones that haven't been broken or caught on fire yet. xd) and proceed to release the orb into mid air where it stops right next to the trees. The orb is still in the air for several seconds before launching several lightning bolts down into the ground. The trees are uprooted and catch fire/break apart in the process.*

Advantages: This technique does good damage, most importantly it has a considerably large area of effect when compared to other techniques.

Disadvantages: Has a short range, is not a projectile based technique and so the user must be certain that the orb is VERY close to the opponent to make sure it does damage to them.

How I would defend myself from this technique: The best way to defend myself would be to use a technique that could lift me off the ground away from the area of effect.

*I begin by sending chakra into my feet quickly, afterwards I gather a large amount of my suiton chakra and perform the hand signs Ram → Tiger, spitting out an adhesive fluid that covers about 10 meters around us trapping you. I then perform the hand seals Boar → Dog → Ram, creating a water vortex in the palm of my hand that is sent towards you. The vortex expands, covering the field of vision you have on me, and finally before it makes contact with you I make the Ram hand sign and raise my right hand into the sky, creating a lightning essence right above you and right as the vortex is about to make contact with you I send that essence as an electrical discharge coming down from above you. The resulting vortex and electrical discharge both cuts and electrocutes you severely.

I can do that, right? With the Large Electrical Discharge technique, since it is vague I can pretty much say within reason where the discharge materializes right? I intended to make the discharge come up from above so as to make the enemy have to worry about two different techniques coming from two different directions, not sure if that would work.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electrically charged chakra from their body. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it only paralyzes. The lightning can be channelled through metal objects, as well as spread out into the air or ground.

This is a common technique to break out of B-Rank Genjutsu or even to negate earth chakra within earth techniques if you can't think of a better way to do it. Gather lightning natured chakra and then materialize non-focused lightning around your body. This lightning be directed to any location upto mid range or you can channel it through the ground or into a weapon, be creative. Now, since the current is non-focused it won't be able to break earth of B-Rank and above but instead it will negate the chakra stopping the technique from continuing and for that same reason the technique would merely paralyze those who come in contact with it.

Lightning begins to materialize around my hand and I try hard to sustain it. Once it's complete I run up to a very large rock structure and pierce it with the technique. The resulting contact blasts a whole straight through the rock.*

Advantages: Yay, chidori! This technique does a lot of damage, is closed quarters oriented and the chakra cost isn't too bad.

Disadvantages: So...many... hand signs. The fact that you have to get into close range might hinder the user in certain situations.

How I would defend myself from this technique: Any technique that could possibly stop the opponent's movement toward you or that could encase you would work very well.

How I would defend myself from this technique: By removing myself from the user's point of view I can escape the technique or by sending a powerful wind technique it's way.

Like you can see in the description, it states it only paralyzes that is because it's unfocused lightning and therefore lacks the destructive power you see in most lightning techniques.

Form a Chidori in your hand and swipe it across infront of you, as you swipe it across reshape the chidori into countless lightning-based senbon which are quite sharp able to cut through almost anything.

Advantages: Same strength as chidori, only with this jutsu one is able to attack multiple targets or send multiple projectiles toward one opponent. Essentially making the chidori into a ranged attack.

Disadvantages: Has quite a long prep time if the user hasn't mastered raiton and the Senbon have a small area of effect.

How I would defend myself from this technique: Best way to defend would be to cover yourself with something so as to stop the many senbon projectiles coming towards you.

It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire release: Firing Biscuit, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.

Perform the hand seals Rat → Monkey → Horse → Tiger and create a total of sixteen giant pillars and use those pillars to form a giant oven within which your target will then be trapped and have lightning shoot from the pillars towards whoever is inside to bind them into place.

I then compress this chakra into a ball of pure energy, afterwards turning towards a nearby rock structure about 4 meters away from me and release the ball. Upon contact the ball turns into a huge explosion that destroys the rock completely.*

Advantages: Pretty simple technique that does good damage, requires no hand seals to perform and causes an area of effect explosion.

Disadvantages: The most notable disadvantage with this jutsu is that it has a short range of 0-5 meters which could play a factor in when to use this technique.

How to defend myself from this technique: By utilizing a technique that could encase you or move you out of it's trajectory one could escape from harm.

Advantages: Better version of the four pillar bind, does more damage and can be used in conjunction with other techniques to pull off a great combo. Also has the same paralyses affect as the original.

Disadvantages: Requires a series of hand seals to perform that will increase prep time.

How I would defend myself from this technique: Only way to defend myself would be to encase myself within something.

Form a Chidori and manipulate it's shape extending the chidori into a blade which reaches a length of upto ten meters capable of easily piercing your opponent. Upon contact with an opponent you can split it into multiple blades to increase the number of wounds and make it even more lethal than it already is.

Form a whirling vortex of wind and electricity around yourself and shape it into a dragon's head covering the area infront of you. Then send the dragon-like vortex towards my clone causing quite a bit of damage, even if it misses the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

*I begin by concentrating raiton chakra into my right palm. Once I've gathered enough I then perform the required hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey, holding my right hand down afterwards while gripping onto the wrist with my left hand forming a chidori. I then use shape manipulation in order to extend the chidori into a blade like appearance with an extension length of up to 10 meters, swing at a tree 5 meters away from me, cutting it in half easily.*

Advantages: Does good damage, and most importantly extends to a length of up to 10 meters to attack the enemy from a distance and can split off into multiple blades once the initial blade has made contact with the enemy for extra damage.

Disadvantages: Without lightning mastery the prep time as always to create the initial chidori must be taken into consideration and 10 meters is fairly far if the opponent gets out of that range then this technique would be ineffective.

How I would defend myself from this technique: By using a technique that could stop the piercing effect completely I could successfully evade any damage.

*I begin by gathering both my raiton and fuuton chakra, forming a vortex of wind and electricity surrounding myself. I then use shape manipulation in order to shape it into a dragon's head that covers the area facing me. I then turn towards your clone and proceed to send the jutsu at it, upon contact the clone is consumed and cut up/electrocuted by the technique. The clone then disperses with a "Poof"noise.*

Advantages: Does good damage, provides good protection when the jutsu surrounds you and most importantly can jump from the initial vortex to attack a nearby target so a direct hit isn't necessarily needed to make contact.

Disadvantages: By using a technique that blocks line of sight from the user, the opponent can easily evade this technique.

How I would defend myself from this technique: Same as above, by using a technique that could block line of sight from the user and block the technique.

Don't worry about the hand seals, unless the technique says it requires hand seals you don't have to perform them and the creation of the chidori and immediate extension is all part of the technique incase you think you'd actually have to perform the chidori jutsu to do this xD if that would be a requirement it's also stated in the technique.

*I run up to the clone and begin to perform a series of well placed punches, ending the barrage with a kick that sends the clone flying high into the air. I then jump into the air towards the clone and as it flattens out with it's back facing towards me a form a chidori and pierce the middle-right section of his back. The clone then disperses with a "poof" noise.*

Advantages: Does as much damage as the other chidori techniques, and the user is up close and personal with the opponent.

Disadvantages: Must be within short range to execute this technique.

How I would defend myself from this technique: Keep my distance and make sure that counter the attack that would otherwise send me into the air.

I then quickly slash the clone from left to right at an angle so that it is sent flying upwards, and once this occurs I then jump into the air and create a chidori. I aim towards the clone's chest area and once there I pierce it, driving both of us into the ground as I land on my feet and the clone lands on it's back. The clone then disperses with a "poof" noise.*

Advantages: A good sword combo that is used when going up against an opponent that is taijutsu oriented.

Disadvantages: Must get at close range to execute the technique similar to the other one, and so if the user's opponent fights at a distance this technique would be tricky to pull off.

How I would defend myself from this technique: By staying at a fair distance away from the target similar to the other technique above.

Description: The user knocks the enemy into the air with thier Sword and jumps at them quickly after. They then proceeds to punch and kick the opponent while still in mid-air. After their combo, the user ducks to the floor, just underneath the opponent. As the opponent reaches him, the user strikes the falling opponent in the back with his Chidori, and then lets the helpless victim falls off.

Take out your sword and use it to knock my clone into the air and immediately follow him into the air by jumping towards him. Proceed by delivering a couple of punches and kicks towards my clone while still in mid-air and finally duck to the floor just undernearth the clone, form a Chidori and strike my clone's back with it as he's falling down and reaches you.

Send your lightning chakra into the sky and generate a cloud above the battlefield and have a serious of lightning bolts rain down from the cloud upon the battlefield.

*I unsheathe my sword and walk towards the clone. I then strike the clone with it, sending it soaring into the sky, I then jump towards the clone and begin to perform a series of punching and kicking attacks. Afterwards while the clone begins to fall down into the earth I land under the clone as it is falling and proceed to form a chidori, penetrating the clone in it's back as it falls right onto my right hand. The clone then disperses with a "poof" noise.*

Advantages: Good damage and involves clone combat attacking which could be beneficial in certain situations.

Disadvantages: Have to get into close range to execute this technique and have to have a sword to use this as well.

How I would defend myself: By keeping my distance and using techniques to avoid being slashed into the air.

*I begin by sending my raiton chakra into the sky, this generates a cloud above the training area. I then continue by sending a series of lightning bolts down towards the ground. The lightning bolts strike all over the battlefield destroying many rock structures and trees in the process.*

Advantages: No hand signs required, has a large area of effect and has little prep time.

Disadvantages: The description doesn't really say if you can control where the bolts of lightning land or not so I'm unsure about that.

How I'd defend myself: Definitely by encasing myself within something to protect from the multiple lightning bolts.

Last A-Rank, for this one I want to know how many times you strike the target and where. Run up towards my clone and attack him with a series of slashes from your sword, then with the final slash hit the clone in such a way so that he goes flying into the air and jump after him and form a Chidori within your hand and drill the clone back into the ground.
