I see my opponent standing mid-range, Without hesitating I focus my chakra. I channel the chakra to my mouth. I begin to use nature manipulation to turn the chakra into water. I release the water out of my mouth and begin to manipulate it into a fast rotating sphere, I aim it not exactly towards the opponent but a little ahead of him to make the area around him soaked in water.

This shocks him and knocks him back of guard, Giving me the chance to finish him off.

The opponent will never let the water soak the ground in front of him. It's better to just infuse the water once it leaves your mouth to create a water/lightning combination.

First up!

(Raiton: Gian) - Lightning Style: False Darkness

Descripton: The user after performing the hand seal snake emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands whilst kakuzu lightning mask emits it from its mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Perform the Snake hand seal, and then focus your lightning chakra into either of your hands. Then release the lightning, shaping it into a massive spear of lightning, covering a pretty large area. As the spear travels, split it in two to disperse two of my clones who are several meters away from each other.

Perform a chidori in either one of your hands while jumping slightly into the air. Then, condense the chakra present, and release it in the shape of a giant thunderbolt, similar to the False Darkness technique we just learned. Launch this bolt of lightning at my clone.

The lighting around me and on my right hand begins to turn blue, I keep the lighting under control, Now the Raikiri is formed and stabled. Lastly I take my left hand off my right and begin to raise it next to my right hand. I draw the lighting chakra from my hand, After drawing the chakra and power, I dash towards your clone quickly in a zig-zag form making it hard for him to track me. I thrust both my Raikiri's through his chest,killing him.​

You can also use the movement required by the technique as a way to move around some techniques used by your opponent.

You can use this in short/mid-range as well. Not too sure why it says long range. xD The Byakugan should be able to see through it, but not the Sharingan.

There's no particular reason why it couldn't be used in other ranges other than a mistake on the one who implemented the technique.
