*I start off by concentrating Raiton chakra around my body then perform the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey hand seals and consequently create a Chidori..I then split it into two and zigzag towards the opponent and then I strike him in the chest, propelling my self forward as I slam both hands deep into his chest.

Well prety much that's it yeah, but you don't need to post the chidori technique. Also - there have been some great arguing about how much time does it take for the thunder clouds to be formed. Well I was taught by Scary Yamato and he said that you don't have to wait for 1 turn altough others say that you do need to wait...So use the jutsu carefuly and remember that if you for example use the Fire - someone else might use Kirin before you - So be careful with this jutsu...

Description: after performing the following handseals the user will then create a blinding light that appears to emanate from the users body and blind the target/s.

Simply as bright flash that blinds the opponent. It does absolutely no damage at all and is mostly a distraction jutsu to follow up with a genjutsu of some kind. If this jutsu is used against you then find some other way to "see" your surroundings until the next turn when your vision returns. And if this is your opponents second or third jutsu then simply stop the opponent from ever completing the jutsu, or use a jutsu that blocks your vision of him so the jutsu is useless. But if you have Sharingan that you will know the light itself is an illusion and thus be unaffected, that was how Sasuke was able to see thru the jutsu. So to perform this jutsu, first perform these hand seals *shows you* and then by using your Raiton chakra, try to create a blinding light that appears to emanate fromyour body and blind me.

Good...well this was the last technique...So now, I will give you some more detailed info about the use of Raiton...

First you should know the element to element backdowns:

A-rank wind vs A-rank lightning : Wind cancels it and continues.
S-rank wind vs A-rank lightning : The same as above.
A-rank wind vs S rank lightning : Both negate each other.

A rank lightning vs A rank earth : Lightning destroys earth and keeps moving.
S rank lightning vs A rank earth : Same as above.
A rank lightning vs S rank earth : Lightning will destroy the earth but as a result it will use of all of its power and cancel out.

Anyways...let's concentrate on Fire - Lightning...

Fire - Lightning : Use a fire jutsu to block the opponents vision of yourself then use a lightning jutsu and fire it straight into the fire jutsu (they will not affect each other), since lightning moves faster than fire it will explode out the front of the fire jutsu and surprise the opponent. If the opponent has already used a water jutsu it will then blast thru it and continue toward the opponent. The opponent will now only have a small amount of time to counter the lightning jutsu, and you have him on the run.

The best combo/continuation attacks are the ones that are the least expected, though the basic ones will come in handy. All five elements are part of one energy, only using them all wisely will help you win. Even those that are complete opposites can help each other out if they are used correctly.

And, since the current rips through the ground, the opponent can not escape into the ground (unless they travel extremely deep into it). Also, since this lightning attack is faster than Zukokku, the electric current will suddenly burst through the fireball, catching him off guard and killing him..then the fire would burn his body to ashes. By splitting the lightning attack into multiple tendrils, I also increase the area of the attack's damage..making it even more hard to escape.

Edit: Also, like you said, if the opponent uses a water jutsu to counter the fire jutsu then it will make it even more difficult for him to block/counter the combo since water conduct electricity. It may counter the fire (makes steam) but it would be really bad for him since he has little time to react to the lightning. But I dont think, the water will reach the fire first, since the lightning is faster than fire so he would be electrocuted (lightning hits water jutsu) then steam is created (water follows through and hits the fireball).
