Ok I consider this technique cool as it can be fused with a lot of other ninjutsu, example when konan spins to form the ring of papers around her, she can fuse the papers with wind element to increase the papers range and lethality. It is almost perfect against a CQC opponent.
Another opinion is if konan should pull this move well, she can use it to cloak her position briefly allowing her to change position without the opponent finding out.
And the most obviously; it is an all round attack and defense move, even if the opponent come from above, behind or below, konan should be able to defend against the attack with this move.
NB: by attack I mean a lower ranked jutsu.

She can't infuse chakra on which nature manipulation has been applied. It was never showed in anime nor manga hence why. I am still not certain where you've seen that. When it comes to paper sheets, you can only infuse ''basic'', aka pure chakra into paper sheets, on which you did not apply process of nature manipulation. With that being said, you can not apply any kind of different chakra (one on which nature manipulation has been applied) unless you have a cj and/or similar which would allow such.

Right, Let's get going onto the next technique of C ranks when it comes to paper nin. Overall a pretty basic one however useful at times. By infusing chakra into paper sheets, the user is able to shape spear in their hands which has cutting capabilities. Using it as to penetrate through the body of your opponent whilst holding it or even throwing it at them. However it can only reach short range.

The technique seem fairly easy to perform, and from the range i can deduce it is fast and has better accuracy since the target will be 2 - 5 meters away (short range).
Aside throwing the spear; against a swordman or multiple opponents, she can use the spear as a melee weapon to fend off their attack.
A drawback is she can only perform upto one paper spear per jutsu at this rank and due to the nearness of the target, konan will have less time to target a better area so its more likely she will go for the cliche target (the torso area) which a CQC expert or dojutsu user can easily predict.

Is the paper spear stronger than a normal katana?

Depending on if it is chakra enhanced or not it would or wouldn't be. Taking advantage of their ability to manipulate paper sheets user would create a crescent shaped weapon in front of them which they can use as to strike their target. That's basically it when it comes the technique.

Though it is a simple technique to perform when used at the right time can end a battle without much complication or wastage. The technique does not block the user's view and its range makes it easy to repeat at a faster rate, its just like swinging a kunai from left to right, only in this case the reach and flexibility of the hand is not a determinant.
Setback, as stated its a one direction attack so its easy to dodge and the range puts the user at risk if they should miss their target.

Next set of techniques within C ranks you will only be able to use once you learn A ranked technique, (Shikigami no Mai) - Dance of the Shikigami. Let's get going with the first one. Nice job thus far btw.

This technique is only usable when Dance of the Shikigami is turned on and the user has wings created on their backs. The user by using paper from which wings are constructed, will release a massive wave of paper planes which have cutting capabilities because of their shape. Good thing about this technique is that user is able to release large number of paper planes which are controlled by user’s will. Sending paper planes from different sides and angles can be hard to evade and can be used as a great distraction. Also, because with this technique massive wave of paper planes is created, it can also limit vision of a person which is inside of that 'tornado' of paper planes. You could mix planes that are made out of explosive tags among normal papers which will be deactivated upon contact with opponent.

I like how the technique regardless of its range which is up to long does not require hand seals, this doesn't just make it a quick technique to perform but far more easier to combine with another large scale jutsu that may require hand seals. Another advantage to support the above point is the technique does not involve the use of any of the her limbs or body just her will(mind).
Another thing I notice is even while she release this wave of paper planes her wings can still be used for flight such in a case of a counter or the opponent attempting a stalemate she can respond accordingly
Lastly, considering the range of the technique, she doesn't lose control of the paper planes as a result the opponent can not use simply running away as a means of countering.
A setback is the cluster of paper planes hide the target from konan, if the opponent should perform a body change of stance at the last minute she wouldn't be able to deduce that quickly. Another setback is the form of the paper, unlike a shuriken or butterfly, a paper plane is limited in its damage capability if you think bout it and the planes naturally travel according to the current of the wind (though she can still manipulate the flying path) which means a futon expert or user can nullify this technique as soon as it begun.

Ok from my understanding, the previous jutsu and this one has so much similarity I would have mistaken it for the same thing, I believe the difference is one involve shape manipulate(paper plane) while the other is nature manipulation(whirlwind of paper).
Well my thoughts are almost the same with the former jutsu, it is quick, suitable for long distance battle, perfect for pushing the enemy away from you while damaging them. If used well can blind the enemy so they wouldn't see your next action. The range is effective and doesn't require konan to put too much effort, most of the work goes to the wings.
Setback of the jutsu, I couldn't come up with any that could stick, depending on how you word this jutsu during roleplay you can cover for its setbacks like the range, the form of the paper attack and the depth of the cut on the target, basically the tech has a lot of loose ends that you can use to your advantage; for example I can state that I use the papers to deliver minor cuts on the target's limbs just enough to prevent further participation in the fight.

You are quite correct. Both of the jutsus are awfully similar. This one is even more similar to the one we learned now.

You will send a tornado of paper sheets towards your opponent whose vision will then be very limited as well as movements. This technique is usable up to long-range which is always a good thing.

My thoughts are the same as the last two jutsu, it is quick to perform, reliable, cover a wide area, doesn't require much work from the user. The only difference I can clearly spot is the accuracy is higher considering that the multiple sheets of paper does not completely hide the target from konan, allowing for continuous and precise monitoring of the target
Setback: the sheets of paper travel in a straight path toward its target allowing for a frontal blockage to be sufficient enough to counter,

This technique is usable upon performance of Dance of the Shikigami and once wings are created on the user’s back. By using sheets of paper from which wings are created, the user is able to release a massive amount of paper sheets which will then by manipulating chakra in them, shape into paper needles which will rain down upon the opponent. Needless are sharp and can cut through the opponent and their quantity is massive, making escaping from them very hard. One more thing that is good about this technique is that it reaches up to long-range.

Ok, considering the four jutsu under "Dance of the Shikigami", I believe this is the most effective and deadly. The needle shaped papers make it hard to pinpoint and the large number released also make it hard for the target to escape from (since it is long range). It has better accuracy and high chance of fatal damage. The paper needles can be shoot at a rapid rate allowing for the user to pin down their target and the user can still get a rough view of the area and the target.
This jutsu share similar loophole with the other three jutsu; it is easy to predict where the needle will hit through the direction the wings are flapped toward (this reduce the element of uncertainty).

A common advantage to all four jutsu is that konan or the user can stop the technique as soon as the jutsu started thus it allow for quicker response to change of event during battle.

Brilliant! Let's get going onto B ranks. I will be teaching you two techniques per post from now on which the exception of two technique which will go individually due to their overall use and importance one could say.

This one is a very useful Paper Ninjutsu technique. By streaming paper infused with user's chakra from their body, the user will be able to create a wall of paper in front of them that acts as defense. This technique gives you ability to defend from up to B-ranked ninjutsu techniques. When it comes to this technique and its defending capabilities, it is important to follow elemental weaknesses and strengths. It will defend you from Fire and Earth techniques of same rank ( it is shown that chakra infused paper can easily go against fire as well as earth). It will defend you from Lighting techniques up to one rank higher than this one (up to A-rank Lightning techniques). When it comes to Water and Wind, this technique will be able to defend you from C-ranked techniques of those two elements (Water techniques will make paper heavier and harder to control and oil-based techniques will make paper sticky and completely uncontrollable and Wind techniques will easily cut through paper.)

(Kami Shīrudo no Jutsu) - Paper Shield Technique

I love this technique btw. It is pretty useful. Upon infusing chakra into paper sheets, you are able to send paper sheets to wrap around your opponent and completely cover them. Upon wrapping your opponent, you could torture them by slowly tightening up paper, suffocating and crushing your opponent. You are able to use this technique up to mid-range which is fairly a good thing. You could completely unable your opponent from moving as well as crush their body with this technique. If you, by any chance, have paper scattered around your opponent, you could use that paper to wrap around your opponent much faster, making defending from this technique harder.

(Kami no Kan) - Paper Coffin

1st Jutsu;
I like techniques like this one, due to the fact that it slow down the pace of the battle allowing the user to recollect their steps and correct any mistakes made. This konan move is fast to perform since it doesn't require handseals or entering a special mode and best part is the user can make do with any chakra infused paper lying about so in other words "the user can't run out of paper".
Like every "wall forming technique" it blocks the user's sight, limit the space the user can move (prevent the user from moving forward most times), and is a frontal defense leaving the user blind spot (behind) exposed.

2nd Jutsu
It is perfect for capturing the enemy, the manner at which it start doesn't hinder or slow down the user from responding to a counter
I can see how this tech can become my favorite too but it does require a lot of work to perform, the chances of pulling this move successfully means you must have perform a paralyzing technique earlier or something similar, I believe most body surge technique will get you out of this technique. Another setback is the user has to maintain focus on the papers meaning they can't perform other techniques while using this (correct me if am wrong)

It is always good to have a paper technique which will allow you to create a source of it and hence make it a tad bit easier. Anyhow great job as per usual. Let's get going onto two next techniques of B rank! This rank is filled with useful technique, mhm.

Also one of my prefered techniques when it comes to the canon list. It is a great Paper Ninjutsu technique. By manipulating your chakra and paper, you are able to create several spikes that will emerge from the ground directly beneath your opponent (or anywhere you like, near your opponent) stabbing them and completely immobilizing their body. Opponent is unable to see (unless he is a Doujutsu user or a sensor) that chakra is going towards them and that spikes are going to emerge from the ground, making countering of this technique pretty hard. Tthis technique is usable up to mid-range. One thing to note, you do not use chakra to create paper sheets but rather use pre-existing paper. A bit of miss-wording within the technique.

LOL. Also one of my favorites. Important thing to state when it comes to this technique is that paper sheets must be scattered near opponent as well as the user of this technique. Firstly, the user will seemingly disappear into paper sheets which are found on the ground and appear directly beneath the opponent (if paper is scattered there), creating a whirlwind of paper with which the user will lift their opponent and attack them multiple times in the mean time. This technique can only be used in short-range. In my opinion, it would be best to combine this technique in a way where you will firstly distract your opponent by making them look in the sky and then swiftly travel through paper where your opponent is and make countering of this technique much harder.

( Kami Sasu no Jutsu ) - Paper Stab Technique
