*looks in notebook* Ah..... oh, right.

Well then, dance around for me. It is called the rain dance. GO GO GO!!
Like this? o.o

*Runs around on the rain drops.*

Type: Attack/Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 25
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After using a technique that causes rain to fall from the sky, the user will then push chakra to their feet and will be able to push off of the drops of water with their feet, tho they must be quick when doing so. This jutsu derives from a ninja's ability to walk on water no matter how thin or small the water source is so it does not require suiton chakra to perform, this is just a more intense version the requires fast reflexes and movement to accomplish.

Notes:
- The user can move freely on the water drops.
- Must know my "Jeet Kun Do" in order to perform this as it allows you to move a limb in the blink of an eye.

For Rain Jutsu, the user creates clouds and manipulates the rain itself to attack, capture, defend or avoid an opponent. Attacking is usually done by either changing the properties of the rain or forming it into things such as spikes, bullets, blades, spears or even waves. It can be used to capture opponents as the user can form nets, or change the properties of the rain to make it like glue binding the opponent. It can be used defensively by making things like shields, or changing the compounds of the rain making it sticky or to make it attach to the opponent directly or even making it saturate their clothing making movement harder. The user uses the rain to avoid opponents by making clones of rain or even using his own reflection on the rain to make it seem like he made clones. This can confuse and stun the opponent depending on the situation. The user can also augment rain, making the drops larger, making them fall faster, or even freezing them to make hail or more solid projectiles like daggers and spears of frozen rain.

Sharingan cannot see through the rain as it's infused with the user's own chakra. It can be compared to being inside of the Hidden Mist Technique as the Sharingan user will only see large masses of the rain user's chakra instead of the user himself. Byakugan users however do not have this drawback and can see through the infused rain drops right to the user's chakra network.

Good, good. Now, before we start with the techniques themselves, rules and template!

  • First of all, if you don't understand something or have any other questions please ask them either here or via vm and I'll try to answer them as good as I can
  • Secondly, try to reply in your own words, thus not simply copy me nor anyone else. It does not matter if you get something wrong. "A smooth sea never made a skilful mariner."
  • Thirdly, if you do not reply within one month, I will drop your training without further notice.
  • Fourthly, please try to use proper English. It is very annoying for both you and me if I do not understand what you say and I tell you to redo the jutsu over and over again until I understand you xd

  • How you perform it (note: do not just copy what I did).
  • Advantages & Disadvantages.
  • How would you defend yourself from this jutsu.
  • The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting.
  • Questions?

Whoops, late reply. Let's start! *I create some clones to start the training*

(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.

Focus your rain chakra into your hand and gather rain from the clouds you previously made in your palm. Once you have done that you will mould the raindrops together into a orb with high pressure. Then shoot the orb towards the opponent to send them away flying.

How you perform it (note: do not just copy what I did): You begin by forming rain clouds and as the rain begins to fall you gather the rain drops together at your dominant hand forming a mass. As you gather more and more of the rain drops you mold it together using the chakra inside of the rain forming a dense orb of pressurized rain. As it condenses down into a small orb you shoot it out towards the opponent with enough force to send him flying back and possibly fracture bones.

*I begin by forming a mass of rain clouds in the sky and as the rain begins to fall I extend out my right hand. I then gather rain at the base of my right hand beginning to condense the rain into a small orb that takes on the shape of a small condensed 'bullet', as it becomes denser I release the bullet. It is sent flying out towards your clone aimed for his chest it then slams into his chest sending him back with enough force to knock him back off his balance.*

Advantages & Disadvantages: This can be used to knock an opponent back and can be quickly followed with another attack to create a quick set of attacks that set the opponent off his guard. It's only short range so using it in say Mid Range would have no effect on the opponent as it would just fall off somewhere before hitting the opponent.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: Personally I'd use earth. Something along the lines of (Doton: Dorosandan) – Earth Release: Mudshot where I could hit the pressurized bullet with a glob of mud that has enough force to over take the rain bullet and continue on. Or (Doton: Doroku Gaeshi) - Earth Release: Earth Shore Return to simply block the bullet, but usually I like to counter and attack back leaving the opponent to defend. Something along the lines of ( Doton: Rokkuhanmā ) - Earth Release: Rock Hammer would work or even (Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique. You could also use various water jutsu but I prefer Earth.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: It could be useful in close range combat if used right

That is one of the most awesome replies I had in a while. Thank you xD
Would you like to stick with one, or would you rather have two jutsus per post?

(Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: When user makes it rain and then changes the compounds of the water(materials in the air). Then makes the rain sticky which binds the opponent in place for 2 turns.this jutsu lasts for 2 turns.

Focus your chakra in the rain and use it to change the compounds of the drops that are falling. The drops will become sticky and will bind the opponent into place for two turns.

I'm fine with whatever, whichever is easier on you.

How you perform it (note: do not just copy what I did): Like with most rain jutsu you first have to create rain clouds, but instead of simply letting the rain fall down and cover the battlefield before manipulating the rain you manipulate it as it begins to fall. Before the rain has a chance to hit the ground you use the chakra already found infused into the rain to change the compounds in the water, mainly the materials in the air around the drops to make the rain very sticky. As it lands on the opponent it adheres to their body covering them in a sticky glue like material that binds their movement. It also can stick them to the ground if used correctly.

*I begin by creating clouds in the sky and letting the chakra infused rain begin to pour down upon the battlefield as it begins to rain I adjust the chakra in the rain drops. I manipulate the compounds in and around the rain drops slowly changing the properties of the rain drops themselves. As they begin to pour down upon your clone the sticky rain adheres to his body covering him in a sticky substance that highly restricts his movement. It continues to rain and the sticky rain continues to cover him binding him in place making movement near impossible for him.*

Advantages & Disadvantages: A major advantage to this tech is that it can be used as a trap technique, if you target someone when they aren't expecting it you can highly restrict their movement before they have a chance to counter attack. This jutsu can also be used to slow down more then one single opponent, it can effect everyone in a Short - Mid ranged area meaning you can hit various opponents slowing down possible combos and movement. What I just said can also be a major disadvantage if you have allies around your position as they would be effected as well as your opponents meaning you have to be careful where and when you use this jutsu as hitting your allies with Sticky Rain might just get you killed in a War Type scenario. Another disadvantage is that it doesn't stop your opponent from throwing Mid - Long ranged jutsu at you, it simply slows down their movement. It's good to use against Short - Mid range Taijutsu/Ninjutsu fighters, but won't do much for a Mid - Long ranged fighter, leaving you slightly open to attack depending on the situation.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu. The Amegakure umbrella would be a good counter as it would stop the Sticky Rain from reaching you. Also a quick earth jutsu like (Doton: Iwa no Hogo) - Earth Release: Earth Shelter Technique or (Doton: Iwa Enchou no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Dome Technique followed by quickly going under ground to avoid most of the sticky rain then attacking in a close range scenario with something like Rasengan (from behind) giving them little to no time to react. Or simply using a wind jutsu to blow the clouds away or to change the weather slightly something like a gust of wind or (Fūton: Tatsuno Ooshigoto) - Wind Style: Severing Pressure to change the environment. Hmm, changing the weather patterns through the use of a high ranking Fire Jutsu aimed for the sky would could also help, it could turn the rain clouds from rain producing ones to thunder clouds that produce only lightning.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting This can be used as a trap technique and a useful one at that. You can bind multiple opponents helping to defend yourself in two on one or even three on one scenarios. It can also be useful in stopping close ranged fighters from getting close and staying close

Questions?: Is the user effected by the Sticky Rain? I'm leaning towards no, but I could be wrong and it's best to make sure now, instead of improperly using it later.

To be completely honest, I doubt it, but if you want to be completely sure you should ask an RP mod, or use a jutsu which we will cover later, that will create a sort of umbrella that will stop the rain from hitting you.

(Touei Ame Bushin) - Reflection Rain Clone
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique creates a reflection of the user, this clone is unable to touch physical objects or cause harm. Every move that the user makes the clone mimics at the same time. The reflection clone is destroyed after one hit, this is a tactical technique.

Focus your rain chakra once again and create a reflection of yourself in the rain. As this 'clone' is only a reflection, it will mimic every movement of yours and it is not able to touch physical objects.

Will do, also there isn't much to say about this one o_o'

How you perform it: It seems like you send your chakra out into a rain source and adjust your reflection to perfectly mimic your movements and make it seems as though you created a clone.

*I send out chakra into the rain and create a reflection of myself in the rain. I then move my left arm up and down and the 'clone' mimics the movement in perfect sync.*

Advantages & Disadvantages: It can be used as a diversion to set the opponent off guard. The 'clone' has no physical form.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: Simply hit the clone and it would vanish.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: Not much, it really a basic tech.

lol good.
Moving on quickly.

(Amegakure No Jutsu) - Hidden Rain Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that can only be used in rain to conceal oneself, this jutsu is considered a dynamic form of henge. After performing a row of hand-seals, the user seems to disappear. In truth, they have merely assumed a form that mimics rain. Fast movements and physical contact with others may reveal the user

Perform two handseals whilst focusing your rain chakra then take on a form that mimics the rain, making it seem as if you disappeared.

Perform two handseals whilst focusing your rain chakra then take on a form that mimics the rain, making it seem as if you disappeared.
How you perform it: Just an advanced version of Henge No Jutsu where you camouflage yourself to blend into the rain around you.

*I perform the two hand seals needed and focus my chakra to change my appearance. I take on the form of the rain around me blending in with the falling rain. It appears as if I've vanished into the rain.*

Advantages & Disadvantages: To untrained eyes you can just about disappear. Fast movements or physical contact with others can reveal you quite easily.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: Mist so that the opponent can't see me then a sensing jutsu like ROTAW.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: Can be useful for recon.

Sorry for my late reply!

(Hitoshirenu Ame Sai) - Hidden Rain Slash

Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their chakra to condense a single raindrop into a more solid form. The raindrop becomes as sharp as a blade. The disadvantage to this jutsu is that the raindrop falls in a straight line.

Focus your rain chakra and use it to condense a raindrop into a more solid form, not ice, it did not say ice. The raindrop will become as sharp as a blade and can be send towards the opponent in a straight line.

Sorry for my late reply >.>

How you perform it: A lot like the (Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique
jutsu is seems that you condense the rain drops forming a construct. It seems as though you don't actually freeze it making a solid but simply compress it down to a solid like form. From being compressed down so much the raindrops gain a sharp property almost like a blade, then the user lets the drop simply fall into the opponent where it can do moderate damage to him.

*I begin by manipulating my chakra and sending it out into the rain, I pool it into the rain drops above you clone's head and begin to condense a few small drops into one larger drop. With that larger drop now formed I compress it down to a more solid form, one that can do significant damage. It continues to fall down hitting the clone in the cent of his head piercing his skull before he disperses.*

Advantages & Disadvantages: It seems as though this jutsu is almost undetectable by normal means like eye sight or hearing. Since it's done above the opponent he can't directly see the drop coming and due to all the falling rain it would be impossible to hear the single drop falling and be able to distinguish the change in density/compression.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: The Amegakure umbrella would be a valid defense but I would have to notice that the drop is there before hand simply moving out of the way would work as well since it can only fall downwards in a linear fashion.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: It's almost undetectable by normal means.

Goodie! And no worries, as you have noticed I don't reply fast either..

(Ame Kasui no jutsu) - Rain Spike Technique
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user of this technique must place chakra into one or more raindrops. As the drops of rain hit the ground they create a small sized spike of water from puddles on the ground. For this technique to work there must be water on the ground and it must be raining.

Focus your chakra into one of more drops of rain as they fall. When those drops hit the ground they become small sized spikes of water from puddles on the ground that were formed by the rain.
