The rain element is basically water but the two are created differently in narutoverse. With the water element you can basically create water with your chakra or manipulate existing water with your chakra. You can't use water to create rain, so the user will have to create his own clouds which in my opinion will be a pain because I'll have to waste a move to create them or you can simply manipulate existing clouds. One thing that sucks is that if the opponent has created clouds I wouldn't be able to manipulate them creating rain because his chakra would be in it but once you've created the rain, you can use it to attack, defend, capture people etc which is pretty cool. This element will be cool to use in Amegakure because it's raining all the time there. :p

Sounds good to me, I hope I don't get sick tho. t_t

After saying those words I perform the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals which creates rain.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

If you will then I command my dogs to take you to the hospital ^_^

*looks at the rain*

Good! One more thing before we start with the actual training, rules and template.

Rules:
  • First of all, if you don't understand something or have any other questions please ask them either here or via vm and I'll try to answer them as good as I can
  • Secondly, try to reply in your own words, thus not simply copy me nor anyone else. It does not matter if you get something wrong. "A smooth sea never made a skilful mariner."
  • Thirdly, if you do not reply within one month, I will drop your training without further notice.
  • Fourthly, please try to use proper English. It is very annoying for both you and me if I do not understand what you say and I tell you to redo the jutsu over and over again until I understand you xd
Template:
  • How you perform it (note: do not just copy what I did).
  • Advantages & Disadvantages.
  • How would you defend yourself from this jutsu.
  • The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting.
  • Questions?

Coolie, then let's start with the first two. Do not forget to use the template ^_^
*creates enough clones for the training*

(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique

Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.

Focus your chakra into your hand. This enables you to draw raindrops towards your palms. Then mould it together into a high pressured orb or water. Once you formed the orb, you will be able to shoot it away from you, towards the opponent.

*Noctis makes a movement with his arms as if he shoots away the orb*

Like that, but it goes with such force that you will be knocked back. When it hits the opponent they will be send flying.

(Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: When user makes it rain and then changes the compounds of the water(materials in the air). Then makes the rain sticky which binds the opponent in place for 2 turns.this jutsu lasts for 2 turns.

Focus your chkara and use it on the rain to change it's compounds. By doing this, you can make the rain sticky so that it will bind the opponent into place.

(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique

-How you perform it: After hearing the instructions from Noctis, I start to focus my chakra into my right hand. As I do this I raise my right hand into the sky, this allows me to gather rain drops into my hand. As the rain drops gather in my hand I begin to mold the rain together with chakra which creates a high pressure orb. Now that I have the orb created in my right hand, I throw it, the same way one would throw a ball when they're playing dodgeball, because of force I get knocked back.

-Advantages: This technique allows the user to push the opponent backwards and into Mid-range. Also if you have a trap behind the opponent you could use this to push towards it.

-Disadvantages: This technique doesn't cause any damage to the opponent. Since it's used in short range and it's a D-rank I guess if the opponent gets hit by it he/she will only be pushed back into mid-range. In my opinion it takes a long time to prepare this jutsu.

-How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: I could basically jump and use the D-rank wind stream technique which allows me move whilst in the air, so I could easily change direction. I could also create the B-rank Earth dome with an opening to my left, the orb hits the dome causing no damage to it. There's many more ways but I could go all day. xD

-The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: Even tho you can use wind jutsus to push the opponent backwards it's good to have other jutsus which allow you to do same thing. So I really like the fact that I place a trap behind the opponent and then make him come short-range fighting me with taijutsu. If it's raining I can do this to push him backwards and into my trap.

-Questions?: Yeah just one. Since this technique is used in short-range, if I hit my opponent would he be pushed into mid-range only? or could he be pushed into long-range? The reason I ask is because the technique is only a D-rank.

-------

(Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue

-How you perform it: Once again after listening to Noctis's directions I start gather chakra and then I send it into the rain. This allows me to change the rains compounds, by doing this I make the rain really sticky, sticky enough that it should bind the opponent in place for two turns.

-Advantages: If the technique goes through then you pretty much can attack the opponent with any Earth jutsu that strikes him from the ground. I was thinking some thing like the C-rank stone spikes which would rise beneath the opponent and strike him, probably breaking some of his bones. Also if you use an earth jutsu the opponent wouldn't be able to use lightning to defend himself since he would also take damage from his lightning since the sticky thing trapping him is made of water.

-Disadvantages: It's only a C-rank. I think if the user uses that added weight rock technique, he should be able to easily release himself from sticky rain which traps him. This only binds the opponent meaning he has his hands free, so the opponent can perform hand seals and perform jutsus.

-How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: You can stop the rain before the user even thinks about using this. Also one can the use the added weight technique to release themselves if they get trapped.

-The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: Something I find interesting is that the opponent is trapped for two turns. So if you get to trap him you can take advantage and attack him with earth jutsus. Also if you're sneaky enough since he can't move you can strike him with Kenjutsu and Taijutsu.

-Questions?: None

In my opinion it would be only mid range, however the key part is that they are send flying where they have a disadvantage due to not being able to move away as quickly.

Luckily I'm still capable of making sense D;

Moving on then ^_^

(Touei Ame Bushin) - Reflection Rain Clone
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique creates a reflection of the user, this clone is unable to touch physical objects or cause harm. Every move that the user makes the clone mimics at the same time. The reflection clone is destroyed after one hit, this is a tactical technique.

Focus your chakra and create a reflection of yourself using the falling rain. This is not actually ca clone, but a mere reflection, hence it will mimic your every movement.

(Amegakure No Jutsu) - Hidden Rain Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that can only be used in rain to conceal oneself, this jutsu is considered a dynamic form of henge. After performing a row of hand-seals, the user seems to disappear. In truth, they have merely assumed a form that mimics rain. Fast movements and physical contact with others may reveal the user

Focus your chakra and perform a couple of handseals whereafter you use your chakra to conceal yourself within the rain. This is done by assuming a form that mimics the rain, hence a dynamic form, which makes it seem like you disappear within the rain.

(Touei Ame Bushin) - Reflection Rain Clone

How you perform it: After listening to the instructions I start to gather my chakra and then I release it onto the rain. The chakra infuses with the rain and I manipulate it to create a reflection of myself. Once the reflection is created, it can copy every movement I make.

Advantages: Well since it's only a reflection of yourself which basically follows every movement the user makes, I would take advantage of that and get in close range of my opponent and attempt to fight him with taijutsu. The reason is that the opponent doesn't know that it's only a reflection, so the opponent would confused and would have to keep an eye on the reflection allowing me to make my moves easily.

Advantages: It's only a reflection of the user meaning it can't touch physical objects or cause harm. So it's only useful to cause your opponent some confusion. It can't be used to way I would want to use a clone which is to use the clone to do his own thing whilst I do my own move.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: Well after I notice that the clone basically does the same as my opponent, I wouldn't be too worried about so I can basically destroy it however I want. Since the reflection disappears after one I hit, I wouldn't need to waste a jutsu on it, so I can simply throw a kunai or hit it with taijutsu.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: Something I find interesting but weird is that the reflection can't touch physical objects but it would disappear if it gets hit. .-. So if it's unable to touch then how could it disappear after one hit since you can basically hit it with a kunai which is an object.

Questions?: N/A

----------

(Amegakure No Jutsu) - Hidden Rain Technique

How you perform it: I begin to gather some chakra and after that has been done, I perform a set of hand seals. After performing the hand seals, I channel the chakra I gathered all though out my body. This allows me as the rain touches my body to become one with the rain and disappear. This would make my opponent believe that I have used a genjutsu but in reality I have taken the form that mimics the rain.

Advantages: This jutsu is similar to the hidden mist jutsu. If you make any noise your opponent can locate you, so if I ever use this jutsu I would also use the D-rank Silent Homicide Technique which basically allows to dispatch your opponent with no warning.

Disadvantages: This jutsu can backfire on the user. I mean I would use it when I have clones but why use when it's just you. The user basically won't be able to perform fast movements or make physical contact with your opponent because if you do that's it for you, so one has to be really careful using this technique.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: I could easily spot it with my three tomoe sharingan. I can just be careful and try to listen for any weird noise and attack my opponent.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: N/A

Let me put this in a different aspect for you.
The reflection cannot put pressure on things, thus cannot touch them, this is logical imo. Now, imagine a reflection of yourself in the water, it is just like a mirror. Now throw a rock into the water at your reflection, it will be broken. The reflection will be interrupted. It is still there you say? True, but it is disturbed. However, this reflection in the rain is made by chakra, it won't be disturbed, it will be gone.

Did that put any logic to it? :p

M'kay, onto the next!

(Hitoshirenu Ame Sai) - Hidden Rain Slash
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their chakra to condense a single raindrop into a more solid form. The raindrop becomes as sharp as a blade. The disadvantage to this jutsu is that the raindrop falls in a straight line.

Focus your chakra and use it to condense one raindrop into a more solid form. Due to being more solid it falls with a greater acceleration towards the ground and is as sharp as a blade.

(Ame Kasui no jutsu) - Rain Spike Technique
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user of this technique must place chakra into one or more raindrops. As the drops of rain hit the ground they create a small sized spike of water from puddles on the ground. For this technique to work there must be water on the ground and it must be raining.

Focus your chakra and send it into a couple of raindrops. When they hit the ground, you will form small sized spikes of water from puddles they land in with your chakra.

(Hitoshirenu Ame Sai) - Hidden Rain Slash

How you perform it: To start off, I gather some chakra and I send it to my hands. After doing that, I send that chakra into the sky, infusing with a single rain drop. As the two fuse the chakra condenses the rain drop into a more solid form, quickly become as sharp as a blade. The rain falls in a straight line.

Advantages: Well in my opinion this is a good technique to use when your opponent is unable to move. I was thinking about using (Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue which binds your opponent. After that I could take advantage of the rain and use this technique since my opponent wouldn't be able to move, the sharp rain drop would fall and cut through his head. Also I think after placing your opponent in a genjutsu where he believes he has been trapped, you'll take advantage of that and strike him. Also

Disadvantages: The fact that the sharp rain drop only falls in a straight line. Basically if your opponent spots it, he can easily cancel it out or just move out of the way by using the D-rank wind technique which allows the user to change direction in the air. I could simply jump and use the technique.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: Like I said in the disadvantages, I can harden my body with the rock armor, I can create an earth dome, I jump and use the wind stream jutsu to move out of the way.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: N/A

Questions?: Alright how visible is this sharp rain drop? I mean if it's only one rain drop wouldn't my opponent have a hard time spotting it. I understand a sharingan user would easily spot it because he should be able to see the chakra in the rain drop but to the normal eye how visible is it when there's so many rain drops.

----------

(Ame Kasui no jutsu) - Rain Spike Technique

How you perform it: I start off by gathering chakra and sending it into the sky, infusing with some rain drops. Once the rain drops fall on the ground, I manipulate them to take the form of small sized spikes of water from the puddles in the ground.

Advantages: I would assume that this technique works like the C-rank stone spikes technique. I like the fact the opponent wouldn't be able to use lightning to cancel this technique, normally people use lightning to cancel out the earth stone spikes. So one option the opponent has is to jump into the air where it would be harder to defend against my attacks.

Disadvantages: Well to be honest this technique can easily be dodged, I can't come up with a clear disadvantage.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: I can just harden my body with the rock armor technique. I could also use the D-rank wind stream technique to get out of the way.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: N/A

It is not visible, not even for sharingan users. Why? Because your chakra is in every raindrop for you created the rain.

No problem o_o

Next up!

(Ame no Yari) - Rain Spear
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: By using chakra to condense a large amount of rainwater into one place, the user creates a spear of water in the clouds. The spear can at any time be called down to strike an opponent with only one hand-seal. The water will stay in the form of spear for a short amount of time (three posts). If the spear is not used by that time it will fall uselessly as rain. The only warning this technique gives is a second pause in the rain when the water is gathered and condensed.

Focus your chakra and use it to condense a large amount of rainwater into one place. Then use the water to create a spear of water in the clouds. You will be enabled to call down the spear to strike the opponent with one handseal
*shows handseal*
The water will only stay in the form of a spear for a certain amount of time, thereafter it will just become water again, so do not wait too long ^_^

(Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Rain Capture Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique causes a target of the user's choice to "attract" raindrops. The water in the rain drops will attach themselves over an opponent. Once enough water has gathered over an enemy it will also attach to the ground, holding the user's opponent to the ground.

Focus your chakra and send it towards the opponent. This will cause the opponent to attract raindrops. The raindrops that will fall on them will attach themselves to the opponent, making it harder to move. Once a lot of water is attached to them, they will be hold in place by the raindrops that will attach to the ground.
