(Ame no Yari) - Rain Spear
How you perform it: To start off, I begin to gather my chakra and release it onto the rain. This condenses the rain into one place and I manipulate the rain to take the form of a large spear. Once the spear has been created, I perform the hand seal that was shown to me, this causes the spear to fall on my target, piercing through it and causing the target some damage.
Advantages: I guess it's nice that the water can stay in the form of a spear before performing the hand seal to strike your opponent, since I can use any weapons like shurikens or Kunais to distract the opponent and then perform the hand seal striking the opponent while distracted.
Disadvantages: Um, I guess the fact that water stays in the form of spear for only three turns and the fact that the spear could be easily be defended against.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: I can use a strong wind jutsu to blow the clouds away. I could use the hardening technique which would allow me to take the hit and receiving no damage whatsoever. I could also use the light weight technique and just move quickly out of the way before the spear strikes me.

(Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Rain Capture Technique
(Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Rain Capture Technique
How you perform it: To start off I gather chakra and I send it towards my opponent just like a genjutsu but the chakra inside my opponent attracts raindrops which begin to fall on him and attach themselves on the target, this makes it harder for the target to move and once a lot of water is attached to their body, they will hold the target in place by the raindrops attached to the ground.
Advantages: I really like this technique: I can use this and take advantage of the fact that my opponent will have trouble to move, so I can attempt to strike him with taijutsu and he would have trouble defending himself. He would also have trouble performing a jutsu that takes a few hand seals to perform, leaving him open for any attack of mine.
Disadvantages: I guess this jutsu takes time to fully work, the opponent could do something about it before the raindrops attach his body to the ground. Once he sees a few of them attaching themselves to his body, he can take action.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: Dodging it with light weight technique.
